So many rumors are swirling around the Arcade1Up Community lately with the most recent one being the imminent announcement of a Pac-Man 4 Player Battle Royale Cab. Let's take a look at this rumor as well as a few other big ones, identify where they are coming from and just how true they are!

I was more excited to pickup my gen 1 cabs back in the day than I am for anything coming out in 2024
At least class of '81 was a legitimate arcade release... that two-sided cab... golden tee and MK... mother of gawd. Just make more of what actually sells to the community. How hard can that actually be?
The cab is called, Arcade1Up's Threesome Cabinet and it has with Lunar Lander, Way of the Warrior and Night Trap.
I've been waiting for a Arcade 1up Battle Royale to come out. I will drain my entire money just so I can have it in my room
Can we just get some NORMAL releases? Ms. Pacman (blue), Centipede, Robotron, Street Fighter Alpha, Tekken...
I'd like to see Evercade make a full size cab even a 3/4 with the SF Alpha games on it. They have a countercade coming out this November. But, I have the Big Blue and an unbuilt SFII deluxe cab and both can be softmodded to add emulators and games.
Once again, wrong Pac-Man game. I feel like I'm banging my head against a wall. We need Jr. Pac-Man and Puc-One on one of these Pac-Man cabinets. And I don't want to hear "licensing" from Michael or anybody in the chat. Puc-One is old enough that Namco has to own the license for that game unless Bally Midway owns it. And when Namco and At Games were suing each other, it came out that Jr. Pac-Man is part of the Ms. Pac-Man license. So, if they can get Ms. Pac-Man there is NO excuse for Arcade 1Up to not being able to get Jr. Pac-Man. But, once again, it's about Arcade 1Up being allergic to money... A LOT of money.
Pac-Man and Golden Tee AGAIN?!? WTF!!! They need something, anything NEW!
They won't release anything that the retailers are unfamiliar with. You have to remember that the younger generations don't have nostalgia for 80's and 90's arcade games. And if people at Walmart or Best Buy are unfamiliar with some games they will be afraid to sell them. Mike has another video of leaked prototype cabs that never came out. Most of them were brand new games or game released before but with proper controls like Paperboy. And Cyrus whoever he is is younger, and maybe doesn't have the knowledge or nostalgia of 80's and 90's arcade games like John D. does.
Still no Robotron2084 or Q*Bert 😒
I'd be interested in a couple of these if they ever made their way to the UK and didn't cost a kidney.
No sign of Golden Tee Deluxe or X-men 97, I worry that A1up are cutting costs by cutting out other markets to save them shipping
I wish we would get more countercades. For me and the wife we live in a small apartment and don't have the room for big ones. If they did a Darkstalkers countertop....day one preorder for us.

I think the golden tee cab might have the cancelled prototype of mlb powerup made by Midway and Incredible Technologies. It uses the trackball for this one but when they were testing it at a location, the trackball kept breaking down. They tried the joystick route but the license expired. It was basically NBA Jam baseball.
can we just get something new....WTF. I'm so faded with A1UP lately....haven't bought a cabinet in over a year....
I bought the SF and MK Deluxe cabs, added back T2 and Dragon's Lair which were all on sale but besides that nothing has really peaked my interest.
I’m really only psyched on the Smash TV if it would include
Defender II, Robotron, Sinistar and any other later Williams games.
I don't like that cabinet shape. They should use the MKII deluxe shape which looks better. Hopefully that one can eventually come out.

I have played it, and it's fun, but I do not need to own a cabinet dedicated to it. It's no Pong pub table.
I like Golden Tee as well, but it is another one I don't need a dedicated cabinet for. Mixing in some other games would make it more appealing, but not enough for me to buy it. I'd pick it up used for $50.

im done buying pac-mans, Golden Tees, and Mortal Kombats. Arcade 1 Up come out with something new, or please go out of business, so someone can buy you out
To be fair if this cabinet Is real, It would be a different game, more exciting for sure
@@andfonsebit’s still a Pac-Man machine. We want something new like racing cabs, beat ‘em up’s , fighting cabs. This just feels like a small market. Especially a head to head style.

Yeah. I know this one comes with Pac Man OG. If we're doing this, I don't wanna keep rebuying the original. If it's a new game without the original, and with other games instead, I'll consider. If I'm proved right however, I don't want to buy the original, and Dig Dug, and Galaga, with nothing new to those roms. Done with those. I was under the impression that Ms. Pac Man couldn't be paired with the original due to some copyright BS, but no, they confirmed otherwise. And other units by companies, put them both on the same machine. Time for something new Arcade1Up, otherwise I, a previously loyal customer, am done.
@@bolivwx Pac Man Battle Royal is an entirely different Pac Man game though, it's not OG pac man, It's a newer 3D one where 4 players compete in a Battle Royal, hence the title. If you haven't seen one, you can find it at Dave n Busters

I don’t think I’ll be interested in buying a Pac-Man royal arcade 1 up it’s not classic enough like Pac-Man and namco can’t come up with a different Pac-Man after Pac-Man besides and Pac-Man Pac-Man plus but if you go on mame 32 go look how many different Pac-Man were released by midway Balley MFG like Ns Pac-Man plus Ms pac attack that’s another challenge maybe if midway was still doing Pac-Man we would see more new Pac-Man I don’t call Pac-Man royal Pac-Man championship anywhere close to the original Pac-Man I like to see a remake of Pac-Man

love the fact that the information we are getting is from someone that isn't from the company anymore, but still loves the gaming community that hes willing to give us information, as he is a true gaming enthusiast and not just for maximizing profits.
