Thank you Ruby 💗 I have plans to do a reflexed spray rose tutorial so that will hopefully be a good substitute for you ☺️ Things are very busy with wedding season at the moment so I will only be putting out #Shorts tutorials during these busy periods. Hopefully in a few months time I can get a longer form tutorial filmed for you 🤞
Such a shame to miss the detail of your fabulous tutorial because it was out of shot…..any chance you could re-film it please? You’re an incredible teacher!
It was one of the first tutorials that I filmed so I was getting used to the camera set up. I won’t be refilming the same one but you can check out some of my other tutorials and online classes where there is an overlap in techniques. Okay so this tutorial is spectacular and ur skills just blew me off!!!! Like seriously thank you soo much❤, also I noticed the edges of your sponge seems to have some texture and it makes the petal top look soooo realistic!!! How did u get ur sponge to look like that, and what should I do to make my sponge give the same texture 😅? Thanks!
Hi! My flower pad just has texture because of lots of wear and tear. The flower pad will still give the same effect without being worn out (so try and save your flower pad if you can! 😂)
Thank you very much for sharing your skills. So inspiring!! I´m a beginner and you can´t imagine how many like me you are helping.Thank you, thank you very much!!!🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for your easy to follow, great, clear & concise instruction video! I love that you dont go too fast!! You are a great instructor, and I am looking forward to following a real expert!! Again, many thanks
Hi Colleen, thanks so much for your lovely comment! I’m so glad you are enjoying my videos. I do try and make them a bit calmer and easier to view (although I do make some speedy ones 😜) Thanks for being here and for your support 💚
lovely tutorial! Thank you for the video. one comment id like to advise is if you could be more in frame because a lot of times i cant miss the beginning parts of a step.
Thanks for your message. So sorry about going out of shot. This is one of the first tutorials I filmed during the first lockdown last year so I have since invested in and improved my filming set up to prevent this from happening in the future :)
Thank you for sharing. A great tutorial, loved it. Can I just ask what number you rolled the flower paste out to on the pasta machine please? Thank you ❤️🥰xx
Hi Fiat, here is a link to the set that I use. I have used the 4 smallest sizes in the set which are 1.5", 1.25", 1" and 0.5". www.thecakedecoratingcompany.co.uk/tools-equipment-c28/veiners-cutters-c51/fmm-rose-petal-cutter-set-of-5-p8379?gclid=Cj0KCQiA-qGNBhD3ARIsAO_o7yk34UgUr-PvZFhY4M2KLzabeths_2qJZrXXLRUNk5W2fUiaLas48kIaAu7kEALw_wcB
Flowers are lovely and the parts that could be seen were very helpful but if you could please consider refilming with the WHOLE thing in view it would be ever so much better!
This is one of the first tutorials that I filmed so my camera set up wasn’t the best. When I get a chance I will refilm a new one as there has been a lot of request for it. I do have lots of very detailed rose classes in my online school that you might be interested in 💚
I do apologise for that Sri. This is one of the first videos that I filmed before I upgraded my camera set up so it is now easier for me to stay in frame. Hopefully you still learnt something from the video despite a small amount going slightly out of shot.
Hi Joanne, I'm sorry about that. This is one of the first videos that I filmed before I improved my camera set up. You don't actually miss anything when I move the flower out of shot as you can see the petal placement when it is brought back in
I am sorry about that Moushumi. This is one of the first videos that I filmed before I upgraded my camera set up so it is now easier for me to stay in frame. Hopefully you still learnt something from the video despite a small amount going slightly out of shot
Would be so helpful if you can re film now you have a new setup, so we can see the parts that were out of shot. Your flowers are amazing.

So glad you liked it Sharon! For roses, I always roll to an 8 on my pasta machine which is the second thinnest setting :) x
Thank you very much for sharing this video. Would you please let me know the sizes of the petal cutters, if you don't mind?

Unfortunately a lot of the petal placement is done out of the camera’s view, which is really frustrating. Beautiful flower.

When you place the petals we cannot see what you do in your video.
I do apologise for that Sri. This is one of the first videos that I filmed before I upgraded my camera set up so it is now easier for me to stay in frame. Hopefully you still learnt something from the video despite a small amount going slightly out of shot.
It was hard to follow because the flower kept disappearing, but your work is beautiful
Can you give me the paste recipe pls??
It is available to purcase here :) thebotanicalcakestudio.com/product/the-botanical-cake-studio-flower-paste-recipe/
