These are beautiful! How far in advance can I make them and how do you suggest I store them? Thanks 😊
The wonderful thing about sugar flowers is they can be made weeks ahead of time. So less stress the day of. As far as storage, keep them protected from light, dust, and too much humidity. 💖
Excellent, just want to if gumpaste (fondant) even after adding a bit of CNC(talose) power it will stand in winter or rainy weather when humidity levels are over 70%
Hi! My flower paste does. I teach how to adjust for high humidity and low. I love using it. 💖
can you teache us how to make flower peast ❤
Would these last on a buttercream-iced cake stored in a fridge overnight? If not, would you have any suggestions for decorations that can last directly on buttercream?
Sugar flowers are great on all types of cakes. I would however suggest leaving decor to the the last minute. Whether they last in the fridge or not will depend on the medium used, how long they're in the fridge, and the temperature difference when you take it out. Are there some options you're considering? I might be able to better advise if I know what you're considering, and what the conditions are. Does that make sense?
how did you make the yellow center for the forget me not?
It's super easy. Check out the video at the 2:00 minute mark. ❤️
Love them. Do you have a gumpaste recipe or do you buy it?
I have a gumpaste recipe. I'm actually creating a course for it! It's taken me some time, but I'm really excited to have it ready. The paste is translucent, edible, flexible, rolls thin... I love it! I'll. post here and on my IG when registration opens, just in case you're interested. ❤️
@@FiveTwoBaker thank you for responding!!! You are inspiring!!! Love your amazing work!
I want the gumpast recipe also🤗
Im starting to work on the tips for it today! Can’t wait to share! ❤️

Hi! 💖
Hi do you steam your gum paste flowers
Hi! Sometimes. The steaming darkens the color, so it just depends. I also tend not to use too much color dust for most flowers, so I don't often feel I need to. But it does help lock that color in! 💖
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💓💓
Thank you so much! 💖
Супер
Thank you! ☺️💖
Do you do the leaves all the same?
Hi! So for these I did. They were mostly for show, to add some greenery. Whether or not they're all botanically correct, I'm really not sure.
Okay. Thank you! I will definitely use your video for a cake I’m making soon. I’ll just use simple leaves like those, they look really good!
I'm so glad! ☺️ Tag me if you use socials! I'd love to see it!
