Hiii...thank you once oagain for this tutorial. I have made my first edible rose seeing your 1st tutorial . Since then i only follow your tutorial for all my roses. So thank you once again.
I'm so happy to hear you found my original tutorial useful and it helped with you making roses. I tried to add a few more tips into this tutorial, so I hope you enjoy this one too. x
i have been struggling to make roses for a month or so as my clients started to ask for edible flowers. thank you so much for making this video. i have all the materials that you have used. I'm so excited to make some!
@@CakesbyLynz I live in an extremely humid country, and when I leave my gum paste models to dry out the day ahead it dries out nicely. But the next day it starts to get soften, shiny and sticky to touch. for which I started to add a bit of CMC powder. Is there any way I can prevent this issue without putting CMC powder?
Thank you! I love your material and tool walk throughs, it makes it so much easier to gather proper materials. Once again, a very detailed great video, and stunning roses.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It does make the videos a little longer, but I always think its great to be able to show you and go through what you will need, as sometimes you don't see the tools as well when they are being used. I am so pleased it's useful x x
@@CakesbyLynz I think the length is great, and you are so right about seeing the tools clearly! Especially if it's an unfamiliar one. Please keep doing your videos this way, they're fun and so helpful. Thanks again
Precioso.... No sé inglés ni un poquito... Pero diré la verdad entendí el paso a paso q me dieron ganas de hacerlo... Muchas gracias por compartir tus conocimientos... Los pondré en práctica a partir de ahora gracias
Thank You so much for this, it couldn’t have come at a better time! I’m looking for the dust you used that’s the only thing I can’t find on the list. Is it a edible green luster dust, or glitter? What is it? Thank You so much for your time and help!
Muy buen trabajo quedaron hermosas parecen naturales te veo desde colombia .... entiendo es por los paso a paso seria fenomenal si pudiera enterder tu idioma ...
Hi Stefanie, lol, I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. Do you make the rose cones to sit them in whilst they dry? I've always found hanging them upside down has worked really well.
Hi, with gumpaste you are able to roll it alot thinner than fondant without it ripping. It is also alot more stretchy than fondant and sets completely solid, making it perfect for flowers as they hold their shape.
Please advise how l should dust my rose if l wish to have a lavender colored rose. Should I mix other colours and use a darker lavender colour on the edges
Hi there, yet again another fab video, quick question, how far in advance can you cut out the petals before doing anything else with them, if they are in a zip up bag? x
Hi Sam, I hope you enjoyed the video. What kind of online classes would you like me to make? Are you looking for longer lessons or videos for bigger cakes?
hello i see your modeling paste is very smooth how do you do that. I use renshaw but it breaks very quickly and it doesn't get that thin then it tears all the way out. I wanted to add some vegetable fat is that possible. greetings Rebecca from the Netherlands
Can you display gumpaste receipe please. I have seen lot of receipies. But any of them didnt work. Pls let me know the receipe. Thanks i really enjoy your video
It feels very easy Well understood I'm gonna try thanks for the video And if it's possible to teach us the gum paste it would be much better My gum paste when ever I roll into thin it just tare and my rose petals not depending upon the wire now I'm gonna take tips from this and I'm gonna correct it !
Hi Aisha, I'm so glad you have been able to take some tips from the video. I really hope it will be helpful. In regards to the gumpaste I usually buy mine pre-made, but I would love to do a tutorial on how to make it as I know not everyone is able to buy the same gumpaste I use.
No, gumpaste is a little different. With gumpaste or floral paste you are able to roll it a lot thinner than fondant without it ripping. This is perfect for making flowers. It also dries completely solid and holds it's shape.
Hi Sneha, As you can see in the tutorial I actually use a kitchen blow torch to heat up the wire and stick it into the flower bud. This means you can start working on the rose when the flower bud is still soft. If you wanted to use edible glue to attach the wire instead, then I would leave the flower buds over night to allow them to dry out and for the wire to become secure. Alternatively you can get polystyrene flower buds from some cake decorating shops.
This is the most clear, concise video on making roses I've ever seen (and I've seen plenty believe me!). Thank you so much x
