    13.7” with the NOX or a 13.9” with the Dead Air Flash Hider is my Go-To😎.
    Nice build, can’t go wrong with either the Aero Precision Gen2 lowers or the M4E1 when your ready to make the switch.

    I’d love to see your Ak videos. My roots were in aks. Like you I upgraded a Troy AR I had and it started me back into the AR world with all the awesome parts and rifles out there now. I still love my AK’s but honestly these days I’d take any of my AR’s over my nicest AK.

    • @Some_dude773
      @Some_dude773  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah I’m kinda in the same boat currently. I love my aks but honestly after learning how to use them effectively and quickly the ak is just very outmatched. I’d still like to get a little shorty ak as a back pack gun but other than that I haven’t found myself really using them all that much recently.

    I’ve found the same issue with my blueforce slings. Now I prefer the ferro concepts slingster. The material isn’t so chunky either and it stows way better under a ranger band or strap. Honestly when it comes to charging handles I like the radians better than the Geissele ACH on my URGI or super duty. I really love the setup on your 13.7” it’s a great do everything rig. I need to get some videos up of my 13.7” and 13.9”. BTW, those arisaka light mounts are tits. They are all I run.

    • @Some_dude773
      @Some_dude773  2 роки тому +1

      I don’t know why I prefer the geissele but I do. I like the little hood in the back for gasses, which I’ve swapped back to it for the 13.7 sense that’s my suppressor host mostly. And I’ve looked at the slingsters and they seem nice but I’d like the webbing to be a little bit wider I guess. I’ve been looking at those flatline fiber co slings as a replacement.

      @@Some_dude773 I’ll have to check those slings out. At first I wasn’t sure about the webbing on the slingster myself.

    The Hyperfire’s or larue mbt2s are both great triggers for a fraction the price of the Geissele’s. Also, Aero makes great products especially for the price range. The M4E1 receivers are some of my favorite non ambi forged receivers for the price. The
    R-One and S-One rails are both awesome. I used to run the bcm grips setup like a romy dong like you but recently switched to the emissary development handbrake. They are amazing and give you the same hold with just a better profile. Similar to a cut down dong.

      I like aero quite a bit honestly. I don’t have the most experience with them but everything I’ve had has never had an issue yet and The s1 I’ve always had an eye for. And I’ve swapped that grip for a slate black hand stop and I’m honestly quite happy with it. I’ve also added a 508t on an arisaka offset mount back on so that I could still have a back up sighting system sense I don’t really have room for irons

      Sweet 16 indeed. I wish I hand an aero upper for this build just to match the short sections of rail on the atlas. What hand guards do you run? And I had bought a rosco barrel for this originally but decided to go with the solgw

    • @Some_dude773
      @Some_dude773  2 роки тому +2

      That’s what I was doing before hand but I actually went and bought an arisaka mount for a 508t, I figured I’d give the 35 degree option they include a try. My one gripe is that my muzzle device tends to be over reactive when canted but it shouldn’t be too much longer till I get my suppressor so I won’t have to bitch for to long😂😮‍💨

    cool man. little more sleek looking. also, larue tactical makes the MBT trigger for around $100, machined out of solid tool steel in TX. sweet trigger Aero is pretty awesome, hard to beat the value, and atlas is very cool hand guard design.

      Funny enough it’s changed sense this video as well. I think I’m finally getting to the point attachment wise where I’ve streamlined it enough for what i like. If you're still lookin for a sling, take a look at the Proctor Sling....That's what has been on my patrol rifle for years. I stow it via a ranger band just like yours. It's more slim and lightweight and doesn't snag on the Ranger band when deploying.

      @@Some_dude773 they do...tho I can't speak to the padded version....I honestly prefer the slimmer standard sling. Also, I do not care for Frank's sling loops (the 550 cord loops). The sling just twists too much so I run QDs on the ends.

    I've been eyeballing that exact lpvo for a while now. My rifles see mostly farm/ranch use in open country and I break optics often from tossing in the back of the side by side and general abuse. Do ya think it will hold up?

    • @Some_dude773
      @Some_dude773  2 роки тому

      I mean I can’t say I’ve really done all that much hard use testing in that regard. So I’m not to sure but for the price point I’d say it’s worth a look. It’s got clear glass, and a nice reticle as well as just kind of being a one stop shop kinda deal when you buy it. One thing it does suffer from like a lot of other budget lpvos is that the brightness for the reticle isn’t day time bright. You can get away with the highest setting possibly but that would most likely run the battery down faster of course. If you do end up testing it I’d love to hear your thoughts as to it’s durability, I just can’t bring myself to do that kind of testing with it honestly.
