(In the video i say MIG welder but meant TIG) slung this rifle together recently and it just tickled me so much I thought I’d make i vid😉😘 hope you guys enjoy will probably upload a vid of me shooting it as well at some point
I hope you at least put loctite on that bolt on charging handle. If not you will be looking for it when it flies off.

WASRs are great guns provided you get them for the right price. They aren't pretty but they run and shoot. They have forged trunions and chrome lined barrels. At the end of the day, those are the two most important things for an AK.

BCM grip is so comfortable since it has that portion that blends with the trigger guard

Gen 3 P Mags works great with the Wasr 10.
I have an almost identical upper build I was planning. Aero precision upper and Karla’s S One handguard, Roscoe bolt carrier group and barrel, sons of liberty flash hider, magnifier and red dot. aero precision, lower, A5 buffer system, LaRue trigger and a fixed MOE Magpul stock with the law tactical folder
I know any rifle can’t do everything but I have a 13.7 also and I find it does about everything alright! I hit targets out at 440 haven’t gone any farther yet but it gets it there! Good video

I am using and loving the Edger Sherman Designs slings, minimalist design, very well made and smooth adjustment!
It's a good rifle, just a plain milspec AKM with a hammer forged and properly chrome lined barrel. Sure not all are great, I'm pretty sure the black furniture is just for 922R, I just buy a Romanian gas piston, semi trigger and handgrip then a gas piston rivet, change it all out and unweld the the gas piston and rivet it so it has some wiggle. Then surplus wood furniture and do a trigger job and debur the rails and such. I prefer the Romanian semi auto trigger as it was made for the rifle. I think it's the only standard AKM pattern import. The Zastava is now great now Zastava USA chrome lined the barrels. Just as I would not buy an Eastern European AR-15 I would not buy an American AK.

I like the B5 bravo stock quite a bit. I also have the atlas S-one rail on my 16”. I love that rail.
B5 is what I ended up going with actually. I have two of them now and they’re definitely my favorite! The s one is an awesome rail it’s pretty underrated imo
Flash hider cap is better, obviously but the Ebrake isn't too bad either for night. Was the e brake more blinding for you?
To be quite honest to my eye there wasn’t a whole lot of difference at the time. I kinda scoured UA-cam for a vid looking for a difference and a test vid, but couldn’t find one showcasing exactly the comparison and or the two put together. It seems the ebrake and flash hider combo quells the flash a lot faster compared to the flash hider by itself. Both a great options imo

The aero precision atlas s1 comes in a 12.7 inch variety the r1 might as well but I’m not sure.
What do you mean with barrel? Is it drooping down?
Yeah if you look right before the end of the barrel it has a slight downward bend. Non concentric barrels are pretty common in com block aks

That was just referring to the bcg. I have about 2000 on the barrel now and maybe about 700 on the bcg.
The carbon will accumulate and close off any bleed once you hit enough rounds through it.
If you guys are looking for 13.7 complete uppers you have to check out Focus Tripp on UA-cam. I bought his upper complete and absolutely love how they gassed it. Softest upper I own!

Your gas block will form a carbon seal after enough rounds.
I never understood why someone would go with a 13.7 inch barrel. Why not go with a 14.5 inch. More barrel, same length.
I have one of each actually. I had the 14.5 first and built the 13.7 sense it was the shortest a rifle can legally go
Nice build brother, we have a lot in common, when it comes to build.
Sl stock, Bcm grip, single sided talon, jp scs and Geissele charging handle is my same set up. Hard to go back once you have the best
Damn right. I’ve changed around a few things sense this vid everything you mentioned except the stock is all still the same. That charging handle does a pretty noticeable job suppressed and the buffer is obviously the shit! Happier with this rifle than any other I’ve owned
287 for my wasr in 2010. Insane. Best addition was the wolff xp spring and damage Inc muzzle brake. Aluminum ar stock adapter after that. Then magpul forend. Makes it easy to shoot and no heat in your hand. 4 moa best I get but that's iron sights so I'm okay with that.
Mines pretty accurate as well. I don’t know what my groups look like to far out cause I usually shoot steel farther out but the wasr is a great gun to this day all though over priced
I love my 13.7 SOLGW and I completely agree with you about it being one of the best barrel lengths for a GPR.

What was your threading pitch. I got a 2021 v2 counter-clock is tightening instead of loosening it
14x1 left hand. That’s what most of your akm and ak47 pattern rifles will be until you get to the 100 series
You're looking at it wrong! You position yourself as usual, behind the muzzle, and then clockwise tightens...
I highly reccomend Urban ERT slings.
Good looking rifle. The can be timed for left handed, I have a 13.7 solgw with the Nox for duty, and it's fantastic. It can be timed for neutral, left and right handed

Oh I’ll definitely be upgrading the trigger, it’s all gritty. I already replaced the crappy stock set with an East German one.

Honestly it does just about everything I’d want it to and it the shortest you can go with a pin and weld. Problem is though is there’s not to many companies making rails to fit them perfectly for max rail space and what not
I also have a 13.7" build with SOLGW. Sons of Liberty Gun Works upper, I agree that nox flashider is definitely the bomb. I love mine as well. Sweet blaster, Its great to see peoples own set-ups and how they deck them out.
The gun has already changed a good bit even from this video. Or at least it has in my eyes. Honestly I don’t think I’ve been as obsessed with a rifle until I put this one together. Great barrel length and I picked some pretty choice parts if I do say so myself! Would love to see yours and how you got it set up!

Thanks man. Mostly just put that on there to keep the pressure pad on there but I don’t run one anymore sense i needed up bumping it to much. And I’ve only had one where the bolt just locked back prematurely which could me my fault sense it hasn’t happened sense. And hell yeah man! What length are you going for?
the 13.7 just hits different. Especially with a suppressor it just feels more compact.
I agree completely. I’m just waiting on mine to get out of NFA hell currently
