It honestly takes a really good writer to make a story where both the main characters and the villains are legitimately smart without being giga brain geniuses.
For real, it's become Really grading when every story boils down to "HAHA I knew you'd see through my outsmarting of your outsmarting of my outsmarting so I outsmarted that outsmarting with a triple backup plan!" especially when we haven't seen either side's thought process beforehand.
This series managed to strike the right balance with the characters being Realistically smart, like making a bulletproof vest when you Know for a fact they have the ability to produce bullets or equivalents and want to draw out the character's death to affect their looping capabilities, and understandably having time travel would allow you to plan for certain aspects.

The scene of Shinpei running to Ushio actually wasn't rotoscoped. That's Keisuke Kobayashi for you. His animation is just that fluid and realistic.

Hands down Eps 15 was the best episode so far. And Shin came up with a new plan right after he resets and takes the first W just makes me like this MC even more

So in case y'all haven't noticed yet, Tokiko has a crush or maybe is even in love with Mio. She's always been very protective of her and in episode 15 says "I could stare at this all day". After that, in the very next episode she's talking about how she wanted the shadow Mio to see every part of her, and how she "didn't want to keep anymore secrets. I don't know if it's confirmed but it seems obvious to me 🤷♂
There's a Mio for each of the siblings while shadow Mio is still around. lol

10:19 You'd be surprised how good some animators can emulate realistic movement in character animation without the use of rotoscoping. Takeshi Honda and Toshiyuki Inoue are the greats in that regard. It's always an eye-candy seeing something that level of animation in something that doesn't involve a fight.
The studio really upped their game with these last few episodes. They went CRAZY! This show is constantly elevating its already great source material over and over again.
Ah, yeah, for all you degenrates who wanna see THOSE scenes uncensored, go and read the manga. It's fun.
I would even say ep15 could be the best anime episode this year so far...and i've watched alot of anime this year

Episode 15 had the best animation and this is why summertime rendering needs to be recognized by a lot of people, and man this series is getting better and better and shinpei deserve that win, and lupa was too for that "the BBB", lol, but all of them was too funny

Shinpe is one of the best MCs ever. Calm, collected, smart, messes up obviously and makes mistakes. Better than edgy boring MCs like Ayanokoji for example ...

i don't say ayanokouji is not smart but it was just sometimes everybody got downgrade of intelect on that show just to show the mc "smart". In fact i only watch that show to see the side character, not the mc itself lol.

It really sucks this show isn’t getting more traction due to it being exclusive to Disney Plus. It has good characters, good animation, and a fantastic story that makes you want to come back each week for more.

I really love that they choose tp show Sou cpr his dad and revive him in time, they could've just written it as the dad still survive in time, but the fact that they choose to show that sometime things wont go your way is amazing.

Episodes 13 and 14´s animation were pretty lackluster but they went all out in 15, seriously one of the best episodes of the year period.
Shinpei is such a great MC, him and Ushio make an excelent combo.
It makes sense. Like an old anime, they priorities some episodes. Every Show can't be full sakuga Show. Even they get lackluster when they go too hard with The schedule they have
