What an amazing little gratitude journal! Thank you for your detailed instructions on how to create this. It is so helpful and I feel very inspired to make one! Hugs 🤗
I absolutely love this project! My Tracy digitals are cut out and inked and my envelopes arrive from Amazon tomorrow. I'm so excited to make this little journal. Question: in the first video you showed how to construct the pages, spine and covers, but in this video you are decorating the pages before you even put it together. Which way do you prefer or recommend? 💖🐦
For this journal I would 100% say to make the base first (put all the envelopes together), then add the completed ephemera, and end with the cover. The second video, showing how to make each item, was just to share the details and scale. Those are going to be free-floating pieces in my stash, as opposed to being put directly into a journal, as I did when I made the book.
Thank you for clearing that up before i made a big bobo. I think my Mother in law will love this. She already has a journal I made for her and whenever she has company she has them write a little something in it along with her own musings.@@CoriDahmen
Cori…I know, you made this a year ago, but I am just now getting to mine. Question..did you do all the decorating before gluing all the envelopes together, or did you do it after? I have already glued my envelopes together…so wondering if I can still sew on that ruffle?
Cori - I am so grateful that you share your creativity and time with us. This little journal is so precious, and with your detailed instructions, I feel brave enough to try making one myself. I feel rather silly asking, but how do the finished pages that you show in this second, information video get added to the journal?
Lol! No need to feel silly at all! I made those bits separate on purpose, to paperclip or glue into another journal. I wanted to use up those “wasted” glassine envelopes.
Yes! That is Tracie's amazing Archive, set 2. Isn't it fantabulous? So many options with that set and it goes with so well with just about everything I use. She has a less grungy set as well.
You can, but I don't recommend that. I find it much easier, with this type of binding system, to glue all the envelopes together first, let them dry and then embellish or decorate. That order allows you to ensure that your pages/hingers (where the envelopes connect) are straight and sturdy before you add bulk and dimension.
GOD BLESS YOU ARE GIVING POSITIVENESS THAT IS GREATLY NEEDED IN THIS CRAZY TIME!
Thank you and bless you as well ❤️
Love your projects and ideas. I hear your girlie saying...you aren't listening to me mom!

My question too
I was wondering the same thing but with all the sewing involved I suppose put the envelopes together at the end. Hope she answers soon.

You are such an inspiration! Thank you for sharing! What color do you ink your edges with?
Thank you. I use walnut stain about 98% of the time, and that’s what I’ve used in this project as well.

Love the project. Did me. Having a problem with replacing my Nuvo. Amazon is carrying colors not the clear. Any suggestions ?
I think simon says stamps and scrapbook dot com both carry it as well/
@@CoriDahmen Thank you. 🙃
Hey Cori, at 4m in yiou show a piece of card that you printed a digital on, do you happen to remember what digital it was? thanks x
Yes! That is Tracie's amazing Archive, set 2. Isn't it fantabulous? So many options with that set and it goes with so well with just about everything I use. She has a less grungy set as well.
Cori do we decorate the envelope's before we glue them inside each other?

That order allows you to ensure that your pages/hingers (where the envelopes connect) are straight and sturdy before you add bulk and dimension.
did you print Tracie's floral kit at full size?
I believe this one was printed at 5" x 7" photo size.
Cori, is your PEGZ letters the small or medium size? Want to order the size you use. Thanks.
Hi Cheryl! The one I use in this video is the small size. And I bought two of that set, because the extra letters are often needed 😊
@@CoriDahmen thanks, Cori. I’ll be ordering that one, as it’ll be quite handy.
Does anyone know where I can get the alphabet stamp tool?
I got mine from Amazon.
