I'm Rod Saunders, founder of Jew and Greek. I’m a musician, web developer, and a student of philosophy and economics. It’s a response to the numerous charges against and misrepresentations of the Word of Faith movement and theology. I also have a CD of original music on CD Baby entitled Gates of Pearl. “Jew and Greek” is a good name because the two civilizations that influenced Western civilization the most were those of the Judeo-Christian and Greek worlds. From the Jews we received our values and a monotheistic theology, and from the Greeks we got philosophy which brought us science, sports, the arts, democracy, and economics. As a result I discuss all of the above in this blog and in my videos.

First of all I will say you are a breath of fresh air among Christian UA-cam analysts. I like you ability to be objective, and also avoid personal attack on people.
Just here to point out that the criticism of Pence was his timing for announcing his decision. I mean up until Jan 4 he was still giving people hope. And then waited till last minute to say he has no power. He should have said it earlier at the very list the protesters would not have had reason to show up and the whole country would have been saved all the drama.

I think it can be argued that the Church complains a lot but prays very little. This is something I find no one addresses. There are reasons the Church refuses to pray & I don't believe those reasons are 'Well, we just don't have time' or 'Well, Im not sure prayer is going to change anything.' I don't buy any of that. The reasons the Church refuses to pray has to do with The Individual's discomfort in the Presence of their heavenly Father. Over & over Ive found that is the over-arching reason people don't pray & thus the Church does not pray. People are more aware of themselves than they are of God. Thats a pretty big boulder to drag around.

The Christians that attacked Pence reminds me of those religious hypocrites in the crowd that wanted Barabas and cried out for Jesus to be crucified. Thank you Rod for this video.
Still time to have egg on your face.......We all ASSUMED that it would be 2 consecutive terms, but his first and second terms will be on either side of a Biden sandwich!!!...So when that happens you will have to turn around and apologize to all the prophets!!
Nope. First of all some of the prophets said that it would be two consecutive terms. And even the ones who didn't make that distinction were answering questions about the 2020 election so it was clearly inferred. Then there was Robin Bullock who said that God told him Joe Biden wouldn't be president. That was clearly wrong. And don't forget about the prophecies regarding Trump being restored to office within the first few months of Biden's term. That didn't happen. Then add to that the prophets who said that Republicans would make crazy gains in the midterms, which was also wrong. No I don't foresee any apology coming from my camp. The prophets were wrong and they need to repent.

Not a word of the officer who was killed and the many other officers who were assaulted/injured....and the officers who died later in the aftermath. You see some in the crowd pleading with officers to get reinforcements because, "they're yelling for blood here!"
Nothing that Trump is watching the violence and despite the pleas of staff, didn't tell them to stop it and go home, till long after.
You are no different than those who minimized the violence and glorified the riots the year before as, "mostly peaceful."
You are them and they are you. But hey, because you quote some book, claiming that everyone is committing crimes, the violent felonies that day.....well whatever.
That officer was not killed. He died of natural causes. You're right I didn't mention him just like I didn't mention the woman who was shot dead by Capitol police. That doesn't mean that those things aren't tragic but that they weren't the points that I was addressing in the video. Most people get that.
@@JewandGreek You obviously, "weren't addressing" the several people who died during and after, because you didn't want listeners to remember, that as you downsized the mob violence, if had not happened, those people would be alive today. Not "actions uncalled for", but a mob with scaling hooks and ropes, guns and other weapons, breaking and entering a Federal building, injuring officers who tried to stop them.

You point about Pence is mostly true. While having been Trump's obedient lapdog, he did stand firm and followed the law....he even talked to Dan Quayle that day (an attorney who also as a vice president, certified an election that put him out of office) if what others were saying what he could do was true, and being assured no, certified the election as the mob screamed for his blood and others.

@@JewandGreek a woman was beaten to death by a police woman. They tried to cover it up saying she od but the family had an autopsy done that stated otherwise.
@@JewandGreek there were 2 other men murdered by the police shooting those oh, I forgot what they were calling them into the crowd. Both were hit by them. You rarely if ever hear about them.
