I always struggled more with gel application- I used these techniques on a client yesterday and I felt like a BOSS! She even said "wow, that looks really hard to control that stuff. How do you do that??" Turned out great and cut WAAAAY down on application time and filing. Thanks so much! I ONLY buy your products because they're amazing and your education and support is #1

Greg has that perfect teacher voice and emphasizes the keywords (float, pull, etc) just the right way to make it stick (like gel, heh). I just want the "class" to keep going!

NOT in the gel, but on top of the gel makes total sence to me. Stay on top of the gel!! Some times I get a bubble & now I know why. Because I was in it & not on top floating from side to side!! Habib & Greg are the bomb. Thank you so much. I truly appreciate the both of you!

I'm absolutely in love with this product and company! As a veteran nail tech, I've used various acrylic/gel systems over the years and NOTHING--and I mean NOTHING--compares to the ease and versatility of the Young Nails brand! I have clients with problem nails and I've noticed a complete turnaround concerning the health of their nails.
I love that they provide additional learning and help with their products, which is so much better than most other companies that insist on giving snippets of info or none at all and then charge to teach you about their products, especially with troubleshooting. One brand in particular doesn't provide an MSDS sheet to go along with their products so you feel lost trying to figure out how to use them. I feel I've found a winner in this product!
SN: I placed and order for Build Gel as well as Mani-Q and when I received the package, the Mani-Q had spilled and a bit of the product was lost 😕 but I contacted YN and a representative contacted me and informed me they'll just send me a new one! No hassle, no fuss; needless to say, I'll be using YN until I retire, Lord willing! 😊😊😊

I've only just started putting gel over my natural nails for strength and I weep for all the years I didn't know this stuff existed, my application is getting better but a lot of my mistake are sorted out with nail file, I love it, for the first time I can have all my nails the same length and not worry about any nail breakage.

I decided to get into a nail tech school to get my license & buy more products that require a license to purchase, including yours. As I was touring the school, I saw YoungNails products on the desks and I was like ok YEP SIGN ME UP! Dying to try all those products out!! Love these videos 🙂

YES. I've been in a salon where I can't use acrylic, so I've been using your gel for months now. It's one of my favorite products and I'm so happy to be seeing information about it. :)
    Quick questions:
With the self-leveling builder, how do you keep it from flooding the side walls? I'm assuming you would work one or two nails on a hand and then cure while working on one or two nails on the opposite hand? Are there any tricks you have for when it floods and you don't catch it before curing?
And with the pink sculptor -- my current bottle seems to have a thicker consistency. Another assumption that it's older, but I was wondering is there a way to thin it out a little? I can still work with it, but it ends up lumpier than my (newer) clear sculptor comes out.
Thank you!! Love your products so much and this new series has been wonderful for me.

Love YN products and only use them in my salon. Please do a video on "problem nails" and gel application. Many of my clients have nails that swoop up like a ski slope and therefore a well is created at the stress area in the nail. What is the best approach to apply a gel enhancement to camouflage the "well" and create a balanced apex? Thanks!

Thank you! In school I am only learning acrylic application and am trying to learn gel from UA-cam. I have 2 questions, if I do get a bubble in the gel how do I get it out? I tried a pin and that didn't work, apparently it's not a cake 🙄. Second is, where can I find a list of classes you offer? We drive to Anaheim a few times a year (Happiest Place on Earth and all...) so it's absolutely doable for me I just don't know when you do them. Maybe it's in the part of the site I can't access because I don't have a license number yet? Thanks in advance! 😀

( dutch ) what would you do when a client comes in whit a set and one nail is broken but she wants that nail the same length as the other ones. the other nails are longer than you normally would set on top of the broken nail, because the broken nail is short. so 9 natural nails are long whit gel on top and 1 nails is broken and short. thank you

You can extend the broken nail using a for or a tip to make it the same length as the others.

Leann Vogt yes! that's the million dollar question I can never seem to get clarification on!!

    • @chandrawhite7904
      @chandrawhite7904 7 років тому +3

Leann Vogt hopefully they give you the "official" answer but I find that:
Build- Thin and good for natural nail overlays, fills. If you're not quick, it can get away from you.
Concealer pink- Takes a while to level but still easy to work with- good for sculpting a longer nail, natural nail overlays, fills, sculpting the tip for an extension.
Sculptor- SUPER thick. Good for sculpting the tip for an extension. You don't want to try to build with this. Feels like building a nail with chewed gum lol.
Hope this helps. Also, you can totally email them and they'll help you. UA-cam comments might not be the best place for help. Take care!
