Rob Bell was my favorite go to years ago, when I was helping in Sunday School. One day I eagerly read his book Love Wins and get to the page where he states his stance on Hell. I was only a teen and very confused by what I read. Had to make a decision and ask if my Christiany was false and if the whole church is bonkers for teaching eternal hellfire. Went straight to my mom asking questions about it. She pointed out scripture which helped me see right then it was him who was way, way off. She was also a fan. We were both deeply saddened to see his true colors. He really was someone I looked up to and it really hurt for a while. It’s an important scar because since then we have been far more vigilant, and paying more attention to today’s attacks on God’s truth.
Wow I am so grateful to God that he gave you the wisdom to seek Godly council from you mum and she also was wise to go back to scripture!!! Praise the Lord as He is the one that keeps all who belong to Him!!!! Thank you Jesus!
I know it happened to a lot of people back then. I know that my church was actively promoting his books and videos for a while back then. I know that I wasn't as discerning as I should have been. I mean if a book was at Mardel AND my church bookstore, how could it be bad? Right?!? I even bought and read "The Shack". REALLY disappointed in myself for that one.
I lived in Grand Rapids, MI during the Rob "Rock Star" Bell days. His teaching shipwrecked the faith of many I knew, including family members. A wicked false teacher--may he repent before it's too late.
I never will forget, I found myself before a United Methodist pastor. How a primitive baptist preacher's son ended up under the counsel of a UMC pastor is another story. This was at a time when I was struggling with my faith, and particularly whether I was "in the faith" or not. I remember in our conversation I expressed reservation about my taking communion when I was living in sin. And this straight up apostate (the "pastor") told me Judas partook and then handed me Rob Bells "Love Wins." By God's grace and his Spirit within me, I saw through the false teaching.
Thank you, Pastor Chris, for this reminder. I was a young adult when his book came out. Singles and youth leaders tried to spread his message. It somehow fizzled out, thank God.
My mother was a very new believer when Bell was at his height in popularity, and I was just a kid, but I remember her telling me to avoid anything he's said or done. God preserved her from being carried away with his garbage, even when she was still relatively "immature" as a believer, and surrounded by a church where many of the congregants were taking the bait. I was blessed to see, as a child, my mom's example: the Holy Spirit gave her the apparent gift of faith, and with it, an eagerness to search and understand the *Word* first, examining the doctrines and ideas of people against what the Bible said. It's important to keep praying for people who are new believers; that God would put faith and passion for His Word in them, because that's what steers them away from false doctrine. God cares and I really believe He will do works in peoples' hearts to protect them from being taken in by these wolves.
We left the Charismatic movement in 2019 due to listening to many ministries including Fiighting for Faith, Justin Peter's Clouds Without Water, listening to all 19 sermons from John MacArthur Strange Fire and daily listening to Truth for Life messages by Alistair Begg . We were not seeking this "deliverance" but were so unhappy with what we were hearing specifically as staffers at IHOPKC. Thru the providence of God, He did indeed wake us up and take our two firebrands out of the fire! We have marveled at all the snake pits we had been in the last 30 yrs including Vineyard and IHOPKC as well as being raised Catholic. We are thankful for God's sovereign deliverance and now can add more thanks for having somehow avoided the Rob Bell snake pit. PS now members of a solid cessationist sola scriptua expository teaching church.
This recording of Bell reminds me of Nebuchadnezzar eating grass, all frothy mouthed. I worked as an aid in a secured psychiatric hospital in the first ½ of the 1980s. The padded-vinyl "quiet room" there was pink. The color pink was supposed to have been soothing to the jangled nerves of the individual having a violent psychotic break from reality. This man's wild eyed muttering points me to the Word of God and the authority, sufficiency, inerrancy, reliability, beauty, goodness and TRUTH of all of it!
Thank you for this! I have often wondered what happened to him. I went to Berlin, Germany when I was 50 years old to do street evangelism. I'll never forget when my son came to visit me, fresh out of YWAM and he wanted to share with me the "Bullhorn Preacher." I was just mortified! I saw the devilish, snake-ishness in that video. We had many conversations after that and praise God, my son came around. But because I was a street evangelist, that Bullhorn video stayed with me all the time and I'd have to refresh myself in the word of God when satan tried to tell me I was like the bullhorn man. When Bell wrote, "Love Wins" I was glad he exposed himself but even then YWAMers were reading that book! Unless we are grounded in the word of God, satan sneaks in everywhere.
Years ago i warned our youth director in our church. He was heavy into bells garbage. He laughed me out of his office. I have often pondered how many kids were ruined. Hopefully they didnt pay attention.
@@caroleimani9754 at the beginning of the video the guy keeps using the word thinness. It isn’t even a real word but I used it to make fun of rob bell.
God loves me as I am? No Rob that is the antithesis of the Gospel. The whole purpose of Christ dying on the cross and sending His Holy Spirit to indwell us was not for us to remain as we are but to transform us from within to be less of who we are and be more like Christ. Apart from the Spirit of God regenerating me and giving me a heart of flesh in place of my heart of stone, there was nothing in myself that drew me to Jesus. The Father draws us to Christ, there is nothing in our fallen nature that draws us to Christ.
Huge difference between MEETING us where or as we are and loving us as we are. If Jesus or God loved us as are, why would He have to save us? Rob is correct in that the defining characteristic is love, but only because He loved us first and changes our nature. Rob knows what he's saying is wrong. He's just trying to take down Christianity. John also said there would be many anitchrists. Here's one right here (Rob Bell).
My term for people who pick and choose what parts of scripture to adopt and which parts to reject are "shopping cart Christians." They take their "cart" into the Bible, going up and down the aisles gathering the parts they like into their cart and leaving the parts they don't like on the shelves. Why call yourself a Christian if you reject what the Bible teaches? Why not just go develop your own religion, name it something other than Christianity and leave Christians to be content with scripture as is? For me, the whole Bible is the Word of God.
I wonder if there's a song mash-up we could do that puts Pastor Chris sailing the Hereseas in the Monty Python Crimson Permanent Assurance song from Meaning of Life?
I remember John Piper’s tweet when Love Wins came out: Goodbye Rob Bell. So many people came down on him for being judgmental. It is amazing going back and watching the nooma videos and seeing how laughably vapid they are.
@@Mojo32faux intellectualism, meaningless babble, nonsensical shallow questions, pretending these things are somehow profound. If interested, search ‘Rob Bell nooma breathe’ for an example of what those videos are. I think most of the videos are about 15-20 minutes long. I remember watching ‘breathe’ in a Bible study group and all of us thinking it was really deep.
My husband and I were very young newlyweds out of Africa when the Scottish pastor of our new church in the Channel Islands brought Nooma materials to the Bible study group. We sat through one, the “Breathe” one and at the time we were not PC and were straight talking bumpkins 😂 so naturally we dismissed Rob Bell, called the wisdom of the pastor into question, upset the hosts and leaders, and the Bible study group eventually fell apart. I wish we had been gentle in our approach and we have grown since then but it was the first time that we had been confronted with a mangling of scripture and we saw it as a call to war.
I learned so much from Mr. Silva. So much!. His site was how I found you. And it was a book someone handed me by Rob Bell that motivated me to understand why our church was becoming, or had become "Seeker Friendly". I found a good Bible teaching church not long after.
Hey Chris? Rob Bell was my pastor at Bethany Church, Grand Rapids, Michigan? He preached on a sermon about being pierced for Christ very wonderful person! And then sometime after that, I found out that he had walked away from the faith and wrote a book ! I was kind of shocked! do you wanna know anything more about him that you don’t know let me know
HOW TO BE PIERCED FOR CHRIST? IS A HERESY. JESUS WAS PIERCED FOR OUR SINS AND SALVATION, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT FALSE TEACHERS, READ THE BIBLE PRAY. HOLY SPIRIT WILL LEAD US INTO ALL TRUTH ! @ONSTAGEMUSICPODCAST, PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS.
I think I went to Bethany a few times when I went to Calvin College. 30 years ago I think the theology was solid and Bell corrupted it. Maybe I’m thinking of another church?
Someone very close to me followed Rob and even had his "Love Wins" book. Needless to say the 're-construction' process was like untangling the noodles in a bowl of spaghetti one-by-one. By God's grace, they've been attending a biblically sound church and are being taught the truth.
Bravo Bravo Pastor Chris. How amazing would it be for you and Alisa Childers to have a conversation. We love you and appreciate your stellar work. This awful man, ruined my family. Praise God for HIS mercy to bring beauty from ashes. Keep going keep going…… for all the heartbroken parents out there.
Rob Bell was openly attacking Christianity. I have trouble with this all the time. A friend from church gave me a book. I start reading the intro only to find out the "author" of this volume does NOT want to learn ABOUT God -- he just wants to EXPERIENCE God. Well, that's a red flag right away. But I tell her that, and she gets huffy. Why? Because she likes the author and likes his book. And so therefore, I am wrong. Slogging along with God's Word as a lamp on my way.
I tried to read Velvet Elvis back then. It was all the rage among my peers, and I couldn't get through it. The trampoline and the stupid confession booths were all I needed to know that this guy was lacking.
Pastor, I have listened to you since the beginning and thank you for your discernment. I was part of leadership of a SBC church youth group and had to stand up when the youth pastor wanted to use Bell's Lectio Divina and referred him to the dangers of thus that you pointed out. Thank you.
Thanks so much! I remember all this Rob Bell heresy and nonsense. Christians must know the WORD and stop being deceived by guys like this. Gunner’s Mate Mark
I felt off about Rob Bell from the off and wasn't remotely surprised when he went off on his course. But I feel equally off at the laughing and joking about where he's gone and where he is at. I wish we could have a prayerful anguish for the lost. He needs our prayers and if we mock him, we need prayers to! It's heartbreaking and gut wrenching to God when we are distanced from Him.
You can still find Rob Bell action figures in the clearance bins at the local JesusMart, next to the Holy Spirit Ouija boards and the dreamcatchers labeled as "vision catchers"
Well what rob is saying is. Thisness is the unique quality of something. It’s that uniqueness that attracts people that gives it its appeal. It doesn’t even have to be the best or most beautiful but it’s honest to itself.
'Love Wins' was the primary catapult for me to actually go and read and study Scripture for myself. I was a huge Rob Bell fan, and assumed that he was just teetering on the edge of Hersey in order to draw people in, but upon reading that book, found out what he really believed. It challenged my faith in a good way, and God used it to help me search for wisdom and Truth.
Oh wow we’re reading “Christianity and Liberalism” at my church. The first chapter is this Sunday. Well the intro, anyway. I’m very excited. I’ve heard about it a lot, but never read it for myself.
Thank you, Pastor Rosebrough for providing this clear critique of Rob Bell's work. The video clip of Bashir taking Rob Bell to task on MSNBC is quite stunning. Today, there is no chance anyone at MSNBC would challenge a progressive Christian's radical theology.
For clarification, in art “we” do NOT talk about thisness! I worked in a gallery and have never come across that term even when researching other galleries’ exhibitions. My coworkers and I read a book about writing for art and the author specifically called out the nonsense word salad that has alienated so many people. Folks, call it out when viewing artworks and ALWAYS call it out in these nonsensical teachers!
Happy New Year 🎆 Chris I hope your 2024 is off to a great start. I’m coming along with you on another ride through the false teachings. Looking forward to seeing more of your show. Praying for all the best or strength to deal with opposing forces. Hope you have a blessed weekend
I heard about the controversy yrs ago and picked up his book to see for myself. Love Wins had hardly any biblical references, which wasn’t normal for a typical Christian book. The few references he used were the typical SDA use for their no hell doctrine saying it’s metaphorical (Gahanna, refuse pile outside city walls, and Ezekiel’s Dry Bones passage). Bell said God would be a sadistic monsters far worse then Hitler if there was an actual hell. Scary how many would have latched onto his logic. I had seen not too long ago he was part of an LGBT affirming church, though I’m not certain if he was pastoring it. Like you pointed out, early on he was leading the charge of far left unbiblical teaching.
First time finding your channel (I think). I look forward to watching more. When you watch the last “Pings” video, you are watching someone arriving at the logical outworking of their false thinking (as identified in the earlier videos). However, I don’t find it funny, rather, it is tragic. We should never laugh when an image bearer is outside of the faith. Even more so when he heaps condemnation on himself for leading others astray. Yes, there will be many who profess faith who are not saved, but that is sobering. I recommend that we pray for him and his family that, God willing, he would repent and turn from the lies towards The Way, The Truth, and The Life.
Why does he bother calling himself a Christian????? Why not call himself what he really is-a new age mystic. Maybe the money. That’s usually the bottom line.
I grew up with the Bells at our summer cabin at Piatt Lake. All I will say about Rob Jr. is love him or hate him, he has a force of presence. His father, Judge Rob Bell Sr., recently passed away. He was a virtuous Christain, and also a force of presence - just in a quieter way. His mother is also a wonderful, virtuous Christian. Children will ultimately choose their own path. Deconstruction is very alluring.
@janicebooy1007 Even when I was a little boy, when Rob Jr. was up at the Lake, you knew. There is no question he has a captivating personality. His father was quieter. But he was a federal judge, he still commanded respect.
A person who I really admired recommended Love Wins, I got about a quarter way in and realized he was off. When I was in my early 20s I got a job providing music for a small Bible teaching church and also joined the extra classes. It gave me such a grounding in scriptures. I was there, despite myself, since it was only because they gave me a job. I am uncomfortable with the idea of hell but don’t deny it and accept that some people will be there. A dear colleague asked me point blank, “are you one of those Christians who believe I will go to hell if I don’t accept Christ?” I had to admit to him that the scriptures do reveal this truth and it lead to a very good discussion. Pastor Rosebrough, your Biblical teaching is very inspiring to me, but there are many definitions of woke, so you should stop trying to define it. Stay in your own lane.
Yes, but Rob Bell got his beginnings in Calvery Church with leading the youth group which is in Grand Rapids. I go way back with him and I can say that at the very start, his sermons actually were sound for the most part......even when he moved into a warehouse for a year before the building in Grandville. Then he rejected the sound doctrine......even blaming the rapture doctrine for the massacres in Africa. Embracing emergent teachings where the planet and environment were more important than Jesus.
I remember those days with Ken Silva and Ingrid Schlueter and others. It's been 20 years but the insidious corruption of men like Bell, McLaren, Pagitt, etc. is still infecting the Church today. I see it in the 20- to 30-somethings who are unaware of the history, so they don't see how the Emergent "virtues" of "doubt" and "questioning" are not Biblical behaviors that deserve applause, but are extremely destructive.
Rob Bell's influence became strong in the church I used to go to. They started showing his videos in our small groups and selling his books in the church store. It caused many people to leave, including me.
Thank you for this Pastor Chris! Rob Bell actually pastored Mars Hill in Grandville, Michigan. Grandville is a small town right near Grand Rapids. Mars Hill was walking distance from our home in Grandville. So grateful we never attended there.
To say that our faith is not strong if you can't pull out a "brick" is to say nothing is strong. When you call a structure strong, it's because all the individual components support and strengthen one another. What do you think would happen to a bridge if you took out the rebar? Or if you removed the foundation? Was the bridge really just weak all along? No, the fact that each individual component of our faith has withstood even the most intense scrutiny over thousands of years is evidence that each piece of our faith not only stands for itself, but that our faith is based in evidence that supports the other components. It's not that our faith crumbles if you take out bricks. It's that you CAN'T take out bricks. Our faith is so integrated together that each brick becomes inseparable and indestructible.
If I'm going to criticize you when I believe you're wrong, I'm going to praise you when you get it right. I appreciate the work done here to combat teachings that stray from basic fundamental Christianity. I can applaud videos like these.
I knew many people who attended Rob Bell's church, Mars Hill and I was very surprised how so many people flocked to hear "him". They talked about Rob Bell and not about the gospel message being taught. Being raised as as WELS Lutheran, I recognized his false teachings right off the bat and was suspicious of his "popularity" and then his move to Hollywood.
The cool thing is that “Christianity and liberalism” is now in the public domain so you can download it and read it for free. As for Rob Bell, when he was talking from his padded room, I kept picturing Nebuchadnezzar eating grass and I thought “I wonder if this would means to become a byword”?
I kinda get what he means by "thisness'.......im so grateful for you and others like you Chris. You've helped me so much to reevaluate my Charismatic road into the church and its influence of my faith and theology...I was a very young messed up non Christian 15 Yr old seeking God and truth . I went off the rails in my 30s and looking back I see my faith was skewed but .I kinda get this guy and my heart goes out to him. My son.loves Rob Bell im concerned about that....I'd appreciate any prayers please 🙏 Thank you ❤
I used to love Rob Bell back in the day, I use to have nearly all his Nooma dvd's, I feel ashamed that I did back then. So glad I have come to my senses and started reading and studying the bible. He took the more progressive "Christian" root. I hear he has now left the "faith" completely.
As you were reading passages from that book about springs, it reminded me long ago in a far away land, when I and a friend would take certain drugs and sit up all not long discussing together the ways we could solve the ills of the world. Of course the next day after becoming sober and remembering what my friend had talked about, I realized none of it made no sense, no sense at all. My brain was fried from the drug along with my friend and though we solved the world problems in our drug induced haze, reality came into focus with the sunrise. The only difference between me, my friend and Rob Bell is we were drug induced. Makes me wonder what is Rob Bell taking to induce such hallucinations or who is he listening to and influencing his machinations.
I've lived here in Grand Rapids, Michigan for 55 years. Mars Hill Church was located in Grandville. Went there one time to see The David Crowder Band. ❤
Still trying to figure out if I have thisness 😂 Great video! I love learning the doctrine you teach when you are critiquing false teachers! Thank you! And thanks for the book recommendation!
Rob Bell started his “ ministry” at Calvary Church, preaching on a very popular attending program called Saturday Night. Dr Ed Dobson was the pastor having come from Liberty University. I think Dobson kind of forced Bell out because of some of his teaching. Bell first met at the Home School Building before out growing the facility and found a small closed Mall in Granville. He was not forced out by the church, Mars Hill. He left to do more seminars like the (Numa) series. I never bought into his superstar status. I attended his church and heard his so-called teaching a couple different times and was not impressed after doing my own research on what he said I found out that he does a lot of name dropping. He’s eloquent with words and finds Liberal theologians to match his views, never a biblical conservative. Once such theologian helped lead the Jesus project. A true Liberal. I’ve never heard of Willow Creek being involved with Rob bells starting of Mars Hill.
Near the end, when you describe the way that we can tell Rob Bell was never genuine (by observing who he was attacking), that was really well said. I've often wondered "is there a way we can tell that a widely loved preacher is not genuine BEFORE their downfall" - and the warning signs are often easy to spot if we know where to look. I don't really subscribe to the view that EVERY popular preacher isn't genuine. The doctrine is enough to tell us, regardless of popularity. But I will agree that most of the time we see something shining high on a hill in front of the world, it's usually not necessarily made of the same substance under the hood. Quite often, the things God is working through the most are the things that are like the sand sifting between your hands. It's everywhere, but it's not really trying to attract attention to itself. It's about God, his kingdom, and his glory, not about the castle that is sitting next to you being built by human hands.
Rob Bell now works for Packard Bell, his great granddaddy's company. They released Pentium III PCs, CRT monitors, and all sorts of cutting-edge high tech goodies. Rob Bell is stuck back in the early 2000s.
Great job, sir. That earned a sub from me, anyway. I was led astray by the whole NPCC/AS cult-of-personality for years. It seems like the corporatized, super-competent, refined version of this. I missed Bell because I was back in school at the time, PTL.
Technically it is Grandville...near GR, Michigan. I grew up near there and had many friends go visit. I even did once. I warned him, and many people got mad about that. The Body of Christ in America is far too undiscerning.
Rob Bell has mastered the art of using a lot of words without saying a thing.
Word salad😮
That would be Chuck Pierce. And if you can master that art, there's only one profession for you - politics.

I never trust people who use to many words trying to sound like they know what they are talking about and then confuse those around them. 😂
Looks like Rob Bell is giving Chuck Pierce a run for his money in spiritual nonsense 😂😂
😂
😂 I used to follow Chuck Pierce so I totally get this and totally agree. 🤣
@@leonoreburciaga2023 I'm so glad God opened your eyes to the truth!
Your my kind of believer- preach it davma
I was just thinking that he was giving me Nebuchadnezzar vibes. My goodness. Perfect example of God “giving him over”. It’s sad really.
The "this-ness" clip is the most "I like the smell of my own flatulence"-sounding thing I have ever heard.
Ha ha!
The Doctrine of the Trinity is not just one spring to a trampoline. It is the entire frame that all the springs latch onto.
My prophetic dog says this guy is full of thisness. 🐕🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
What is "thisness??"
@@caroleimani9754 at the beginning of the video the guy keeps using the word thinness. It isn’t even a real word but I used it to make fun of rob bell.
Never heard of him. Praying for his soul.
Happy new year all and thank you Chris for all you do I know it’s not easy doing what you do but please know it’s deeply appreciated God Bless
My thisness can't take much of Bell's hisness.
I see what you did there 😂

God loves me as I am? No Rob that is the antithesis of the Gospel. The whole purpose of Christ dying on the cross and sending His Holy Spirit to indwell us was not for us to remain as we are but to transform us from within to be less of who we are and be more like Christ. Apart from the Spirit of God regenerating me and giving me a heart of flesh in place of my heart of stone, there was nothing in myself that drew me to Jesus. The Father draws us to Christ, there is nothing in our fallen nature that draws us to Christ.
Well said
Huge difference between MEETING us where or as we are and loving us as we are.
Amen
Thank you Pastor Chris God bless the Kingdom work of Truth you doing. Praise God…
Chris you're the best brother👍🏽 you don't play no games, you expose these charlatans for what they are!
Thank good when I became a Christian all I had was God’s word to be my guide. When you know the truth, lies will never shake you.
Yep..its called new age.. a little of this a little of that..pray God saves them from these movements
Awww yeah!!! Back on the seas! Ahoy!
I wonder if there's a song mash-up we could do that puts Pastor Chris sailing the Hereseas in the Monty Python Crimson Permanent Assurance song from Meaning of Life?
Eagerly awaiting your next video as well, Daniel!
I remember John Piper’s tweet when Love Wins came out: Goodbye Rob Bell. So many people came down on him for being judgmental.
It is amazing going back and watching the nooma videos and seeing how laughably vapid they are.
What do you mean by them being so vapid? I was gonna look them up and see what they were.
Great podcast, Mr. Rosebrough! Thanks for all your hard work in revealing lies and those who so effortlessly espouse them.
I learned so much from Mr. Silva. So much!. His site was how I found you.
And it was a book someone handed me by Rob Bell that motivated me to understand why our church was becoming, or had become "Seeker Friendly". I found a good Bible teaching church not long after.
Yo! I saw Rob Bell preach a few times in person. That dude is so bizarre. The Oprah of Evangelicalism 😂
Definitely.
The dangerous thing about a guy like Rob Bell is that he DOES know what the Scripture says and means, but then deliberately misinterprets it.
Hey Chris? Rob Bell was my pastor at Bethany Church, Grand Rapids, Michigan? He preached on a sermon about being pierced for Christ very wonderful person! And then sometime after that, I found out that he had walked away from the faith and wrote a book ! I was kind of shocked! do you wanna know anything more about him that you don’t know let me know
He's gone off the rails. Tony Campolo is another person whom messages has gone off the Christian faith doctrine.
@@buffydog21 Interesting!
He has denied Christ's deity and God's holiness for decades. He was never Christian. He was just a smooth talker.
I think I went to Bethany a few times when I went to Calvin College. 30 years ago I think the theology was solid and Bell corrupted it. Maybe I’m thinking of another church?
Rob Bell's word salad. I heard him many years ago and all I could see was his forked tongue
A forked tongue is the only utensil that works for word salad.
Someone very close to me followed Rob and even had his "Love Wins" book. Needless to say the 're-construction' process was like untangling the noodles in a bowl of spaghetti one-by-one. By God's grace, they've been attending a biblically sound church and are being taught the truth.
Rob Bell says he's stance free. Is that a stance he's taking?
'Tis
Thank you.
I'm excited to see this first video of the new year
Thanks so much!
Rob's trampoline has no springs left and nobody wants to play with him, anymore.
You can still find Rob Bell action figures in the clearance bins at the local JesusMart, next to the Holy Spirit Ouija boards and the dreamcatchers labeled as "vision catchers"
Indeed, Lifeway "christian" bookstores no doubt shelved and sold his false material, along with Beth Moore, Joel Osteen and so many others.
Well what rob is saying is. Thisness is the unique quality of something. It’s that uniqueness that attracts people that gives it its appeal. It doesn’t even have to be the best or most beautiful but it’s honest to itself.
Thanks for all your Kingdom work! I’d be lost in a sea of CONfusion if it weren’t for you!
Shalom from Florida
Not true, Joe Scarborough would
For clarification, in art “we” do NOT talk about thisness!
Just watching Rob Bell for five seconds my spirit is provoked. How could people not react the same visceral way.
@@emhutchi Piatt Lake for the win!!

Woke is basically the opposite of everything God stands for
Can you give an example? My friend (who is a Christian)says it means things are not as great as you think and to stay aware.
His church was in Grandville, Mi, it’s a suburb of Grand Rapids. You can use either one when you address him.
A new Fighting for the Faith episode!? Thisness be my lucky day.
😂
😂
Oh my gosh, I think the Lord has handed him over into his own delusions and it’s like he’s lost his mind
Sad his not saved, pray he repents before is to late… God is love but His also a consuming fire 🔥the Bible is very clear about hell.
They’ve even twisted the meaning of love to fit their sin
Rob Bell's influence became strong in the church I used to go to. They started showing his videos in our small groups and selling his books in the church store. It caused many people to leave, including me.
Good that you left. Good discernment.
Thank you for this Pastor Chris! Rob Bell actually pastored Mars Hill in Grandville, Michigan. Grandville is a small town right near Grand Rapids. Mars Hill was walking distance from our home in Grandville. So grateful we never attended there.
I remember when Velvet Elvis and Rob Bell was the darling of the LCMS church I was attending at the time. Sad. Itching ears, indeed.
Never heard of this guy but he's definitely on my Mark and Avoid list! God bless you Pastor Chris and your ministry! To God be All the Glory!
Love the analogy!
If I'm going to criticize you when I believe you're wrong, I'm going to praise you when you get it right. I appreciate the work done here to combat teachings that stray from basic fundamental Christianity. I can applaud videos like these.
"Christianity and Liberalism" is gold.
Rob Bell became a dingdong bell.
He was always a dingdong
Rob Bell kinda reminds me of where Andy Stanley is heading...😶😬😐😑
Great video, Chris! Love the mini Bible studys.
My son.loves Rob Bell im concerned about that....I'd appreciate any prayers please 🙏
Thank you ❤
This was great! Happy New Year Chris!
I wouldn't trust Rob Bell with directions to Walmart.
It actually is Grandville, which is a suburb of Grand Rapids.
I've lived here in Grand Rapids, Michigan for 55 years. Mars Hill Church was located in Grandville. Went there one time to see The David Crowder Band. ❤
The space music was spot on! Perfect!
Still trying to figure out if I have thisness 😂
Great video!
One of the first videos which introduced me to Dr. White was a video of him disproving Rob Bell’s teachings. Oh to be young again. Farewell Rob Bell
Merry Thisness!
Good grief, how was this guy ever popular?
Grandville is a suburb of Grand Rapids kind of, it’s it’s own “small town”-
Rob Bell now works for Packard Bell, his great granddaddy's company. They released Pentium III PCs, CRT monitors, and all sorts of cutting-edge high tech goodies. Rob Bell is stuck back in the early 2000s.
When you saw his old videos it is eerily similar to the “he gets us” commercials of today
One of the curses for disobedience in the Book of Deuteronomy, in chapter 28, is insanity. The curse of God is on this man. 💯
Really appreciate this
I wanted a history on this guy because I was unaware
Thank you for your good information
Based on that first clip you showed, I think Rob Bell may be VP Harris' speech writer!
