Any way you can make the swirls appear on the car? same as its mixing in the bucket?
Can you mix shadow black with a shift yellow. Either medium bright or bright for a wasp affect. And try shadow black main coverage. With secondary deep bright lava shift red. Flames.
Hey if you want a rainbow car here you go. that's how I would Market it my man 👍👍 or call it oil slick
Of course! Dr. Mad Scientist meets Mr. Graffiti Artist.

Years later, but this has got to be one of my favorite ones you've done. You got the full color spectrum with the color shift, from red to yellow to green to blue to purple, without any one color or range of colors being too dominant at any given angle, but the effect also being somewhat subtle but still noticable.
This is a car color i can definitely live with. Grown-up mature, yet with an edge!
Ha, agree!!
Fr, it's got just enough of that undercolor off axis sheen without being overly tacky and overdone like you see with the ones imitating titanium oxide colours
Totally. It's not gaudy, but it has a bit of character.
Absolutely agree. I love it.
That's a good way of describing it

Can you try to make an “oil slick” color? a black with the color shifting into various different colors ? I think it would look beautiful
Could even name it.. "oil slick"! Would be badass. ☻️
Probably my favorite result I've seen so far. Manages to have an amazing color shift while being subdued at the same time. Very sophisticated.
If he had told me it was mixed with just two colors I would have thought he was lying and used five colors! Still, gorgeous results. It would look great on a '19 Corvette or '94 Lotus Esprit.
Same! I've seen tons of his videos as well. He should try this technique on different colors.
Your Leandro grey video popped up on my recommended and now I'm getting a bunch of your other videos on my feed ☺️

Me too. I love this anodized metal, iridedcent effect. Maybe I need a car after all.
@@amu444 If you just want the colour shifting effect, check out multichrome eyeshadow or nail polish! I don't think I could ever do it to my car because it's expensive and I'm not very passionate about cars 😅

Just show the video then
"You'll know it when you see it"
"You know the color of oil spilling into a puddle? Yeah, like that, but a bit more greenish"
That end result is wicked :D
Reminds me of heat colored steel (like when you heat a piece of steel to a specific temperature to "blue" it, in blacksmithing. Straw yellows/reds and green is just before blue in heat coloring)
I’m not gonna lie, that’s the nicest looking dip I’ve seen in a long time. As others have stated it looks like an optical illusion.. edgy but mature. Like heat anodized titanium. Totally sick!

would love to see this done again but with a sprayer that can hold 2 bottles at once with each color in it so the only time the mix is during spaying..
I think this color should be called Mermaid Scale... And I want it!
Just as surprized as when I saw this one a good while back. The color shift is subtle but quick and close enough in shades that it makes you question your own perception. And it still acheives this with very little movement. Almost looked like it was flexing it's shades even when perfectly still. Very classy.
I do see that and I love it
Based on all the comments and replies, I am going to call this color: 'Tempered Titanium'
exactly!
Yes. It captures the essence of a shot silk evening gown. Titaniums colour range is precisely this.
I wonder if it would look the same if you did mix the colors beforehand. I really really like it. Usually colorshifts that cross more than an 8th of the color wheel are too intense for me. But it’s really very subtle. I sort of want it on my car now. It kind of reminds me of the rainbow effect in an oil slick on top of a puddle.
In the words of my Teen daughter: "Mood"
So the algorithm brought leandro's grey into my feed..(I loved it) followed by hypershift in white..(I loved it) then this one..needless to say I've subscribed. 👏👏👏
That actually looks a lot like bismuth! It has the blueish green base with lighter greens and pinks depending on how you’re looking at it :)
Finally someone commented it !!!
That is spot on! The color is bismuth

"actually"
2:35 I love how simply pouring 2 different colors together can immediately create a work of art...😍
Once again I'm blown away at how different experiments turns out.
I'd call it a, "Foggy titanium" or an, "Interstellar temper"
Yeah! It’s got that “titanium jewelry” shimmer vibe. Definitely an eye catcher!
Holy effing crap, that colour is STUNNING!

The rain drops just make the color looks better!! Love it!!
I really like this one. The dynamic colour is really apparent and stand out really nicely. More please!

This would look great on a first generation MINI Cooper Clubman
this would look great on anything.but i wanna see a black to whatever else or a black to cold water color shift that would be awesome
Not only did you listen to our suggestion, but the turn around time on this video was amazing. Thanks.

Amazing.. Would have never thought of mixing those colors and the result is pretty striking...
By the time you get a couple passes on the car, the different colors have been agitated in the cup enough to thoroughly mix. But that color is amazing and its perfect with those wheels!!
if the paint containers could be seperated then both fed to the gun that would do this effect but would probably need a custom spray gun if there is one out there
@@646klein Hey man, they actually heard you!!! That's amazing!!! Check out their new video!
Reminds me of the oxidation colors you get tempering hardened steel
With a touch of titanium

They should name the color "Re-Entry Burn". It looks like heated titanium from a space craft or something like that. :)
You're right!
I, for one, will gladly choose this color.
That turned out so clean. My favorite finish yet!!!💯
The color shifting makes me think of those "mood" rings that would go from one end of the spectrum to the other based on heat, but you'd get some interesting mixes as it changed...
i love beetle colored cars- i didn’t know this is how you got that color shift.
Yeah like one of those scarb beetle I see that

Did you just say OIL 🦅
@@etooamill9528 read it here 1st.... oil

Yess.. hit the nail on the head with that description
I like that because it wasn't properly mixed beforehand there is still some diversity across the car, like some parts are definitely showing the blue more while others def seem heavier on the gold. I really like it, it's uniform without being fully uniform
I was looking up color fades and happened across this, OMG love the end result. Still on my search learn techniques to fade 2 colors

Of all the videos I've seen so far I think this is my favorite mix!
this one of the best paint jobs i’ve i seen on your channel and it scares me
You could use volunteer cars for all the spray tests, you wouldn’t need to remove the old color and prep the car over and over again. Plus this would be free publicity as there would be some crazy colored cars running around.
Even if you require the cars to be prepped beforehand, I‘m sure there are a lot people that are interested.
I would prep my car for them if they would do that, and they could put their logo on there wherever they want
Most painters don't want someone else to prep. Anyone can spray. Prepping is what really makes a paint job.
@@vjsoeifi wellllll I agree prep job is important... Butttttttttt I rather let the new guy prep than spray. If you've had to redo the new guy paint job for a whole month because he sucks and always gets orange peel. You would feel the pain.
Thomas Autengruber id prep our A4 in a heartbeat and let them put whatever color they wanted. Everything they do looks incredible
Thomas Autengruber that’s what they have their cars for....
Very cool looking outcome!
Better than any pre done two tone … love it 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Now you gotta mix the same colours properly and compare.
Paint would have mixed in spray gun pot during the movement of spray action
@@mattblack9344 then why bother mixing
@@gemcutter187 its more even
Because the spray gun atomizes the paint as it passes through, you won't really notice that the paint hasn't been mixed.
Maybe if you poured one colour in first, then the other in second - you may have a more noticeable outcome.
or have two sperate compartiments in the bucket.
@@sebastiaanx7867 I reckon this is the idea he mentioned he eludes to in the wrap-up
@@roadhog29389 could be indeed. Doubt it will do any difference though.

Why do I watch these videos I’m colourblind
thats to bad
XD, here is the best thing I can do for you, It looks like it changes color as you move around it. from green to yellow to red ect.
I know how you feel. I can't see green, just looks brownish grey. Really annoying and makes the trees and grass look ugly. Interesting seeing brown lights though.
don't let that stop you from dreaming
Welp me too cant see green
That’s dope! I like how when you pan around it changes color
That colour is *sick*! 🤘
Just beautiful....
It looks like case hardened steel or flame heated copper.
Beat me to the case hardened steel observation
Neochrome paint
Looks nothing like case hardened steel. Color case hardening leaves the steel splotched, this is a pearl color shift that relies on perspective.
That, or flame treated titanium. That's what I thought of first.
As for the comment about it not looking like case hardened steel. It has all the colors of the steel, just not in the splotchy patterns.
Looks like case hardened dog poop or flame heated cow dung.
x2 guns. x2 different colors. Second gun follows right behind the first.
Instead of mixing in the hopper, they'll blend as the coats dry on the car.
#doitfonzi
vabrova no that’s pretty stupid
yep it would end up just being the color of the 2nd gun.
I like that idea
