Start out by camping in a tent or hammock at a campground and then get into rough camping and then eventually into what Greg and Amos and Zach do. Take time to get out deep into nature.
Hello Greg I am glad that you don't have to do the drywall anymore. I love your videos keep it up and I hope you were able to do the things for your daughter that you said you wanted to do when you were on the show Alone.
Hey Greg, just wondering if you are still affiliated with AG one…do you still use it? I was thinking about buying some (no this isn’t meant to be a promotion for them) but you’re my kind of people and I respect how you are, so I thought if you do I’d buy with your code hoping it would help you and if not, there’s probably a valid reason why….thanks!
I lived in Surrey BC for 26 years, now live in Hope BC for 3 years. The skills you have can really teach people to survive. I enjoy your videos thanks, keep it up
Hello Greg, and welcome to Oklahoma, I live n Mustang. To bad u didn’t come last week, it was warmer, and since this was one day ago, unfortunately it’s colder today, and where I’m at, we got some wet snow, hopefully u didn’t wherever ur at, I’d rather for u to enjoy being here rather than being miserable, the weather here changes n a heartbeat. Just like everyone else, it would have been a pleasure to have met u n person! Looking forward to the next video and hope u get ur wild pig!!!
awesome! I wish I knew where and when you was coming! I’m an Oklahoma Mountain Man in SE Oklahoma. I was fix’n to head out and go trout fishing myself this morning.
I use to do that. Go to the most remote fishing spot that looked appealing where big bass would be lurking. Haven't been fishing in year's. Been caught up in home projects and taking care of my folks. I've forgotten the enjoyment, excitement, failures and total relaxation of fishing 🎣
Greg, you are a LEGEND! It always puts a smile on my face when I see you’ve uploaded a new video. Seeing you catch new fish and try them for the first time makes me want to go out and do it for myself, and because of your videos I plan on visiting BC and Alaska sometime in the future to do just that. Thanks for making these videos, my friend!
Oklahoma is a unique and special place for survival, catch and cook, your kind of videos !! There is tons of posion oak and ivy in places, beware ! Can't wait to see the rest of your videos from Oklahoma. AMAZING, I grew up playing around in the woods here, and it was an amazing way to grow up, having adventures in the woods.
I agree as well, I bushcraft almost every weekend here in SE Oklahoma. I live 5 miles from Robbers cave State Park and week long camp, day camp, catch clean, cook and just enjoy the mountains every weekend!
Drive a pointed 2x4 into the ground about a foot then rub a flat piece of iron on top creating a vibration and watch the worms/crawlers come out of the ground. The fastest way to get good bait with out digging. Give it a try.
@@hornick12ifymy method: worm for perch then set out drop lines and paddle around with a perch on my line while checking drop lines on my way back to where I put in.
From Oklahoma here my whole life, glad to see you enjoying our beautiful state. I know of a few amazing lakes to fish for Catfish. 😜 Hope you come back sometime.
Greg, try this bait collecting trick. Drive a pointed 2x4 into the ground about a foot then rub a flat piece of iron on top creating a vibration and watch the worms/crawlers come out of the ground. The fastest way to get good bait with out digging. Give it a try.
That is a Box Turtle......The common box turtle (Terrapene carolina) gets its common name from the structure of its shell which consists of a high domed carapace (upper shell), and large, hinged plastron (lower shell) which allows the turtle to close the shell, sealing its vulnerable head and limbs safely within an impregnable box.
No way! I live in Oklahoma, and have been a huge fan for years!!! I live right on a lake, and would’ve invited you to our house for a meal, drink, shower, and anywhere on our acreage to stay for as long as you’d like!
The turtle shell @ 03:40 is from a three-toed box turtle, they spend most of their time on land and I used to catch them all the time around the Tulsa area as a kid. See fewer of them these days. May have already been answered but I love reptiles and amphibians!
Welcome to the Midwest Brother! You in the Ozarks or ? Well you should come to Missouri! We got the bass, crappy and trout. We also got the catfish all over! You get in the big rivers and you can get 50+ pounders. Bagnell Damn on Lake Ozark got some real monsters too!
Well dang Gregg wish I knew you were coming to Oklahoma would’ve loved to have met ya for some fishing and lunch and shown ya around a bit! Gotta come back and go noodling one day! Ever around the area again would love to meet up with ya!
Hey Greg, you weren’t far from me here in Arkansas:-) That was a box turtle 🐢 and that metal thing looked like an old raccoon trap. Nice large mouth bass. They are delicious cooked just like you cooked it. They are great for eating. Good times .
That was a good video I like how you put that together and when you left the scales on the bass it kept the meat juicy and you can just scrape them off like that that is awesome
That's a box turtle Greg, I do believe, I'm from Illinois but lived in a couple places in Oklahoma as well, your videos are the best vids and survival vids out there, march on brother
Great to see you in Oklahoma! And you betcha that largemouth bass is yummy. I like all my fish with lemon, but I'll take fresh fish any way I can get it! Be careful of those boars. They can be sassy critters.
Greg you should come to Minnesota next winter and try dark house spearing for pike. Are season ends in two weeks now but it goes from Dec to Feb could just spend the night on the lake also and I have 1 and 2 man spear houses and all the gear you would need.ive been spearing for over 40 years now and up two about 3 years ago no one from out of the state was allowed to spear here. I also carve the decoys we use for lure.
The great thing about fishing with chicken livers is that if you get skunked fishing you can always season and bread the livers and fry them up in onions and gravy and you’re all set with some biscuits ❤
omg, I'm in Oklahoma !! Oklahoma has the most manmade lakes of any state !! Some great ones, Lake Murey, Texoma, and my grandparents favorite, lake Eufaula !! Then there is the dirtyest, most unclear lake ever, Lake Thunderbird, so bad it is known as lake Dirtybird to the locals here ! It is so awesome to see you in my home state, WOW ! The best fish to go after when your here is the Catfish ! You gonna try noodling ??
Greg..! Cool to see you around my area fishing and hunting ..Hope you had fun. Ill say tho You'd had better luck just using the guts and head from that bass. Chicken liver is a pain to use. Of course cut shad or carp is the go to.! Thanks for all the great videos Greg..!
Hi buddy it's Marcel Gagnon I'm just letting you know .that bass that you caught is a spotted bass .if you look at the dark line running down the side of it it is a broken line. And another way to tell is run your finger on its tongue and it's tongue will be rough. Keep up the great videos. 👍
When I was 10 years old, I went fishing for the first time. My uncle took me out on a river known to have crocodiles, gar, river perch, and turtles. My uncle warned me against catching turtles, it's gar. He said that those two would swallow my hook and fishing line, and it would be nearly impossible to get them back, as they both would tangle your line in the river brush. Well, my uncle was the one to catch Gar that early morning where we lived in Luisiana. My grandmother cooked that gar in brown gravy. To this day, I believe that was the best prepared fish I have ever eaten in my life. I don't know if Greg has ever had Gar before, but I believe that would be one of the most interesting adventures he would ever have.
Sometimes I just have to escape what is going on in the world and watch Greg in the wilderness! Thanks for posting Greg!

Broom sage 9:13 boy that stuff is very flammable we burn it away from the pond one time and we almost had a serious fire on our hands !

strawberry jello chicken😎
