Thank you for this footage. It is always described how koi patterns may mature which is understood by those in the profession but not fully appreciated by lay people, this was so a wonderful time compression
Congrats to Donald and to Ricky on two amazing fish!!! That showa is just nuts! and the body on the goshiki 😮 also thanks to the movie star for filming it 👍😂
Donald must be good at playing poker, I'd be bouncing around like a child if it was my showa ! I like her body shape, large, but still athletic looking ❤ The goshiki was pretty perfect, I wonder if the grey/blue will go darker with age ? Must be great to be able to travel in Japan again, we're pleased you can too.....!
Yes Evo Donald has Many incredible Koi and what a transformation Very High Quality and also Rickys Goshiki also top Quality Too Thanks for another great Job Evo Smashing Content as always Very Best Regards Tony 👌👍🙏🎅⛩🎄
Since you & Ricky have travelled to Japan so many times, you guys are the best persons to answer this question : Is Tani fish farm which is very close to narita airport in Tokyo, a good koi farm for buying decent bloodline fishes ? (especially Gosanke) Kindly share your knowledge Yvo.
Hi Arvind, I think I am not the right person to anwser that question. I have never been at Tani Koi Farm and I have no knowledge about their bloodlines
Wow these truly are amazing Koi. Loved this episode. Keep up the good work. How do you spell your name? I’m believe that I have misspelled it in the past.
Donald tends to leave the more promising fish in Japan in order to enter them in the big Japanese shows, sometimes he leaves them with a breeder in Japan even after their show days are over, as Oyagoi (breeders)
there is 1 thing that you haven't reviewed yet. About how the Japanese breeders quarantine their koi fish before they are sent to their consumers, especially overseas
Donald is visiting Japan quite a lot though the years, why isn't he trying to pick up some basic Japanese. I'm sure the breeders would very much respect and appreciate that. I've never seen him communicating in Japanese.

Does the temperament of the KOI affect the value of the fish? This KOI is so calm and gentle.

Como cuanto cuesta un pez de esos?
Very expensive, I think the Showa goes above 10,000$ easily.
