Love the guide! I've been using it to get used to doing the minigame myself. One thing I did notice though (in case no one else has pointed this out) is that you can completely skip the first time you bait the pressure plate. Actually, it's preferable to do so. Because instead of it showing you in 3 hit splats all stacked on each other, it'll tell you in your chat box. They'll all say "Damage dealt: x" but each text will be of the color of the poison. It makes it a lot easier to see.
you can completely one round it once you know the weakness for that hour, just load up the three scropions with the weakness colour and you will one round it, the weakness color deals 30k and every dino has 90k life points meaning three spears can take it down. The weakness stays the same until the dino gets scared away.
For anyone watching this guide years later don't give up on the multi-dino encounters, the drop rate for the maul piece is increased drastically and you get extra base loot.
3 things I learned doing this a few times: 1. You dont actually have to watch the first animation. If you remember which two colors you used and see the total hp left, you can tell which poison is correct by knowing that the best poison does 30k, then 15k, then 7.5k damage for the worst. 2. The dinosaurs have the same walking speed as the player, so going the opposite direction as them combined with the occasional surge if you mistime it will ensure you dont get caught. (This is actually the key to doing multiple dinos). 3. If you have tier 2 hunter lodge, you can stand and cut most trees and vine patches without hiding, as the dinos will pass without the detection zone becoming too hot for most walking patterns.
Glad someone gave a tutorial on what to do. I had a rough idea going in, but I didn't know the grass was there so I assumed the whole thing needed to be rebalance. Still haven't found the AFK Skilling thing yet, but I found the herblore/firemaking weekly game and that was kinda fun.
May be a dumb question, but how do you get your interface to look like that? I've looked at a bunch of things and can't seem to figure out how you got all those bars at the bottom. I know I can move things around I just can't figure out how to have my backpack and say skills menu open at the same time.
once u press esc button, if u look down u will see "layout" click that and create ur own layout, to put all things on the screen, drag them out on ur screen
Escape>Settings>Gameplay>UI Customisation> Tick off: Slim headers, (optional) lock interface and adjust the transparency. For the other things just unlock the interface and drag the other interfaces out
So i was watching Mod Shaunys stream on twitch yesterday when he was doing BGH and he said there is actualy an achievement for killing a dino while there are 3 in once instance so thats why after you hit 3 it went back down to 1 yesterday. How this is possible i have no clue because it seems almost impossible to get to the pressure plate and build it before getting caught but i think with the upgraded buildings it slows down your detection rate so that could be how its done plus with double surge you can get out super fast, but he didnt really say much on how to do it but that it is an achievement :)

make sure to take magic note paper for the bones to save inv space
or yak for tele bk to bank, happens to be cheaper :)

It is hard but they have a smaller range each when there are 3 and with practice I think it is more possible than it seems at first
