Really awesome video! I've heard of most of these ability, but didn't know how to get them. You can get Devotion and Sacrifice by just killing monsters in the GWD, you don't need to do any bossing for them. Balanced Strike can be very useful for the original GWD as when you kill the boss, you'll have taken a lot of damage and if there's a minion you haven't hit with AoE's you can use it on them to deal massive damage and heal up a lot (of course if you miss click, you can die very fast).

You mentioned Shattered worlds guides, the one thing I want to see, that could easily be its own video, is a ranking or something for the modifiers, which ones are a definite pick, a definite no, or the ones that just don't really do much. I'm new to shattered worlds and I keep getting stuck with modifiers that teleport me around and blow me up bc idk what else to pick. That would be v helpful

Heheh >:) Well if you plan to do a lot of solo nex go for onslaught, otherwise i'd suggest going for the corruption abilities first because these abilities can be used anywhere (pretty much)

Tbh onslaughting blood phase is not worth it, lose all your adrenaline and lose out on hp, a better strat is just use thresholds, start with a snipe when nex is at the peak of her siphon, shadow tendril (yes will lose hp but not as much as onslaughting) into a snapshot then rapid fire or bombard then few basics if not phased yet that will get you thru blood phase while still having adrenaline then use bleed abilites on minion to build back to 100% for ice phase
Its great combat & invention xp and a way of obtaining slayer xp through lamps (bought with anima) which is actually pretty decent xp/h. I have it on my list (of videos to make)

Idk why you're saying rout/shock, etc. are useless. With any enemy that can be pushed you can use them right after using frag shot or combustto force them to incurr the double damage if they are a farcasting enemy you couldnt otherwise walk. This means you can do about 244% ability damage with one basic ability. The thresh versions, granted, are more niche, but the one codex unlocks all of them so you it doesn't matter. Idk though, I could be wrong with my assumption, in which case im willing to learn.

I didnt get it, You have to buy 2 mazcab codex to get all the abilities? or 1 mazcab codex por each ability or only 1 codex and you´ll have all the abilities unlocked?
It may have been changed, but I got Devotion and Sacrifice by killing Aviansies in GWD1 on a slayer task. So maybe any monster in GWD1 gives those abilities? (I haven't unlocked Transfigure yet) Also, If you make that Shattered Worlds guide I will certainly use it to finally get those final three abilities. Maxed combat here...

Corruption abilities are key to training and DPS. They should be gotten as soon as the player has the money. Also, that something is niche doesn't mean that its not worth it, it just means that its worth it when you have a use for it, scare tactics for example are useful for reavers at aod, and i'm sure there are other places out there where you can find some use for it, for example for fighting small monsters from a distance. Oh, and you failed to mention the abilties that were created from the codexes, might wanna add a comment for that, or an additional video. Some of them are pretty useful. Otherwise, its an alright guide.

You can get sacrifice and Devotion btw killing bandos or Armadyl mobs in GW1 not only the bosses

You can get the GWD abilities from the nornal monsters in GWD too. I actually got everything but Tuskar's Wrath during a single Aviansie task.
This used to be really rare though, must've changed how easy they are to get from the minions

You can just camp GWD creatures for Devotion and Sacrifice. I got them getting ghost hunter equipment on my Ironman camping spiritual warriors.

there is a point to the scare tactics. and that is delay boss mechanics. Very usefull

How long does it take to get devotion and sacrifice from GWD1 because I’ve been there for like 2-4 hours and nothing....
I took around 1.5k kills to get all abilities and the ghost Hunter outfit
I got them within 30 minutes just a few days ago. Be sure to join your friends chat and turn on lootshare. I believe it helps with the drop rate.

They give those abilities, you are correct. It's faster too apparently (according to people going for them)

You dont need to kill gwd1 bosses for abilities. i got all mine from getting kc for gwd1 bosses.

Scare tactics are great for not having to walk bleeds with range/mage. Doesn't work on most bosses but decent for slayer.
