I like how Mark "met in the middle" but instead of 17.5% he went down to 17% in her favor. He even says "yes ma'am." You could tell he believed in her. And how could he say no? She's fantastic!

Mark is racking up equity in these sustainable/vegan/etc etc companies because he knows where the future is headed.
Hedging his bets that the more of these he invests in, the more chance there is for one or two of them to be bought by the big traditional food companies

100% there is a stipulation in the shows contract that Mark can only make a certain amount of deals each season. He could literally buy every business that's ever been on this show and not even notice his bank account change, and im not being hyperbolic. The difference between Mark's net worth and the rest of the sharks would be greater than the difference between you or I and any of the sharks.
The only solution I think might work is bringing more billionaires on the board mayb

Nobody actually cares about vegan. The snack market is still absolutely dominated by non-vegan choices and always will be, and for good reason.

Inflammatory oils and a soy by product along with cassava do not make a health food.
Love this whole idea. I despise wasting food, any cuts or trimmings that aren’t used in my dishes I throw into my backyard for either animals to eat or have it return to the soil. Something about throwing food in a trash bag bothers me.
Great idea, one advice - if she was to chagne the packaging to convey the message and story how the chips are actually made, she wins.
