I’ve got both the 25mm Rockhard and the 18mm Rockhard. I liked the 25mm so much I bought another one. Outstanding knives. The Cutix is amazing. When I’m actually working on a project that’s the knife I use. For boxes and packages the Rockhard is my go-to. However, I will say that the best clamshell package opener in the world comes on the Leatherman Wingman multitool. I bought my Tajima and the Cutix from Acme Tools. They have awesome prices on all the Tajima stuff and had a good sale on the Knipex stuff during Black Friday season.

Adding a stabilizer bar is a great idea but the price of Knipex Cutix is ​​way too expensive for a utility knife, i think overall the 25mm snap-off knife is still better if you need a sturdier blade.
If the Tajima 25mm utility knife is too big for you, OLFA has a 25mm knife in one of the most compact sizes on the market and there are also Hultafors that provide snap-off knives with handles that can be used by right or left handed users.
