"Yugo vibes" is great description for many old hotels in Serbia and Bosnia 😆

I was in Guca in 2007. It was a blast. Wonder If that old and raw Guca vibe still is there.

Canada and Toronto are deadly boring. Once you’ve experienced life in Serbia, coming back to this torture chamber feels like a death wish.
I hope to relocate again soon. Thanks for the entertaining video, enjoyed it!

Well I'll be darned! Years ago when I would do my annual Serbia visit I would stay at hotel Splendid. My brother and my two sisters also stayed at that hotel.. Then, one day when my brother and I came for our annual visit to Serbia we headed out to that hotel... But alas it was closed!! We were disappointed. The interior of the hotel was being taken apart. What a bummer and each year when we visited Serbia we went to check out this hotel to see if maybe it was rebuilt but alas not. Oh well, times change eh.

Sometimes I wish my life was a little bit more "boring", instead of this constant fight for just about everything. Then I remember that Truedo guy and his Vax mandates and I am happy with my life in Belgrade

Can you give specific examples of what you are tired of fighting for?

Was that Nije nas Bozic at the Sound Academy, 11 Polson St. (formerly the Docks)?

OK, Canada may be a little "boring" but it's also a very nice and civilized country. However, all that is good about it is in huge danger due to the creeping COVID fascism and insanity. I think their government can impose all this shit precisely the people are so nice and law abiding. In contrast, Serbia may be chaotic and crazy, but it was also the first in the world to have an open rebellion against COVID measures, and the government has had to be really careful about how far to push things ever since. PS Before all this craziness, Montreal was one of my favorite cities in North America, and Toronto was a great city by all objective measures.

Nice video, made me lookup the first time I came to Belgrade.
The first hotel I stayed in Belgrade was Hotel Beograd (not far from the train station) in the summer of 2004. It was not fancy, in fact I seemed to have some prostitute neighbors. :-)

I've been in belgrade now for about a month and am dying to get back home to be around real people, have a decent meal and to go back to the beach.
