From Texas. Don’t compare him to anyone else. He is unique. What a great talent. This is Feb 20 2022. Arnel and Journey go on tour again in two days and release a new album soon. With 14 years Arnel has been frontman for Journey longer than anyone else. May they all stay well and have a successful tour.

Pineda is no Perry. And Perry is no Pineda. Both are incredible in their own right. I’m so glad Journey is able to continue playing their amazing music live with a worthy lead vocalist. Just saw them again in 2022, and was blown away at their unprecedented talent. TRUE musicians. True professionals

That high note is in Steve Perry's original recording. But it's actually really hard to hear because his voice is so perfect it actually sounds like an instrument playing those notes.
I love journey that even in my 70s am still viewing them and listening to tjeir previous concerts. I'm an admirer of Arnel Pineda. He's so humble and tried to he Journey's frontmen until todate 2020!long live Journey!

This video is edited the audio is edited its not 100 %live is 80 % live they edited for commercial purposes and to sell tickets to concerts . If you see journey live this guy cant sing a song without lowering the song 1 or 2 octaves

Ever wonder why Journey wasn’t inducted into the Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame during Steve Perry’s time? Coz Steve Perry’s voice is too soft for rock, it doesn’t fit in rock, his voice is more of a power ballad. Arnel cemented them as a rock band and got inducted into the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.

I prefer Arnel’s version of this song. So does all of Journey’s songs that he’s sang live or covered. It’s more rockstar raspy, stronger and more masculine and more current than the classic versions.
