It's amazing Ivan has the mobility to start the movement from the colar bone, with full range of motion. Larry relied heavily on stretch reflex, starting at chin height and then rapidly bringing the bar down. Ryjov's press never went below his chin. Ivan's lift is definitely the most impressive of the three.
Craziest thing in this video is that he found jeans that fit him.

Larry was way less strict than Ivan (but also way lighter), Larrs was in a way closer to a push press.

Strongemen axle press record is 217 kg..and thats even harder due to the clean and the switch of grip after.
Plus in the 70s there was a clean and press in the olympics, and the record 228 kg on youtube.
Switch of the grip is not the hard part. It's the part after where you have to clean it to the rack position. The axle doesn't have ball bearings to spin as the conventional bar does.

It's all harder in anyway..I have watched all the axle press records and they press it strictly ater they cleaned it

This is an amazing lift. But it’s not correct to imply that few pro strongmen could do this. Strongmen have strict pressed more in comp with axles and logs - with a normal bar in a home gym, I’d bet this is doable by most pro strongmen (meaning WSM/Arnolds, male HWT competitors).

@@TIGERSDFW Of course there are some strongmen who can but I was referring to "any elite strongman can achieve this overhead press". Over 200kg STRICT is an incredible feat of strength only a handful of Open Class athletes have achieved.
