Your presentation is excellent! It's great to see a serious collector who knows how to care for their boa. As a breeder of Peruvian Epicrates cenchria for 30 years in Iquitos, our temperature and humidity are left to mother nature. When adding the temp (°F) and humidity together, it fluctuates between 150 to 170. At 8 am, the temp is about 80°F and rises to the mid 90s by 2 pm, then slowly declines to 80°F by 8 pm. The lowest temp is in the mid 70's around 4 to 5 am.
this is a wonderful video! thank you so much! i'm very interested in brazilian rainbow boas so it's always exciting when a new video about them comes up on here. the husbandry levels you give are incredible and all this info was amazing. much love 🐍💖
You’re gorgeous! I love BRB’s. They’re mini-anacondas for people who can’t keep true anacondas! They are related though which makes sense. Their patterns are very similar!
your snake very pretty n by the way did you do that water feature in your enclosure ? n I'm shure she loves the enrichment. keep your cat safe n your snake safe..cat can look at her thrugh glass ..nice info. .I'm wanting a male bp but I admire the beauty of brb..
i do not have a big water feature in her enclosure yet but i plan to do a few upgrades inside of her enclosure soon and a water feature is one of them :) she does have a water bowl but she no longer fits in it so it’s time for a upgrade
Thank you for saying exactly what I've always been saying, the maximum tank size for any snake is as big as you can fit in your house, that's all. Ball pythons spend most of their lives in rodent burrows, yes that's true, so it needs a maximum of a 3-4 foot tank? No! It still needs hides in that 3-4 foot tank to feel secure in its hide, so the internal tank space makes absolutely no difference to it feeling safe in the tank. In the wild they can be found outside their burrows, right out in the open basking in the sun. They do not require a maximum tank size, but a minimum is very important to keep your snake comfortable. Imagine getting a cramp in your leg, and your bedroom is too small, and you can't stretch it... That would be awful.
keeping a LG. bowl ,container of water helps with humidity too.also a humid hide.,with moss inside lightly misted.

My brb is about 2 months old rn, at what age will he become more hardy when it comes to humidity?
does your cat and your snake interact?
from outside the glass sometimes my cat is very interested in watching them but my snakes are very disinterested in the cat:)
What happened to your videos
Mine is a jerk.
