Best video I’ve seen literally took me less than 5 mins to replace my window trim. Compared to other peoples videos where they’re taking off the whole door panel just to replace the trim. Thank you for showing this video! 👍🏽
Thanks for the video. If my man here can do it one handed, surely I can with two... One question, what about the rear doors' windows teim. Because the window doesn't go all the way down...different method, or same, just be careful with the tools/glass....? Thanks so much.
Dealer wanted to charge 4 hours labor plus $135 for the window trim. Would have cost close to $800. I bought the trim on Amazon & replaced all 4 trim pieces in about 30 minutes for a cost just under $40
I made the same mistake, these things are loose as hell if you break the clips inside the door that held the previous one , fml. Where can i find the clips for the inside so the strip isnt loose.

taking the door panel off allows you to remove the debris from the old trim and the broken clip pieces when you remove old
The only video where they not just tearing the thing out 😂 Thanks so much for showing that screw that holds the side. 🙏🙏🙏
And all done with only 1 hand. Well done sir.
It’s so easy, you can replace it in only a couple of minutes, using only one hand, while filming the video we just watched. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks for this. FWIW, at HondaPartsNow, this part is not called a weather strip, but rather a molding assembly (including the clips).
Thanks a million for this video. I changed all four on a 2012 Honda Civic HF.
Great video... Tons better then the others i have seen

Did your new trim have the felt (brush-like) material on it?
The interior piece has the material that you referenced. The exterior piece is plastic and rubber.

Thanks you save me 85 dlls at Honda✌🏼
Is it the same for the back window?
From where did you get it .. there is a lot on eBay but I don’t know which is correct fit and good quality?
Good video thanks!!
Thanks in 2024 🙏

Thx for the video
Where did you buy the trims from? I need to change all 4 on my car
I Googled: Honda Civic 2012-2015 Outer Window Moulding Trim Weather strips Seal. Found Amazon & ebay & many other places
Mine is completely worn out as well, my 2012 civic also has the worst paint job I have ever seen.
What is the blue tool you're using?
I have seen them on Amazon
Look for an Auto Trim Removal Tool.
