be ALERT : My parts arrived in a long smashed box . Without thinking I opened it. Thank God the molding retained its original shape enough to be usable. The world needs more lerts and hmmm a shipping tube would have been better

I need to replace the inner weatherstrip too but havent taken a good look at it, wonder if i just need to remove that one in the outside first

Was wondering, if the entire trim piece is hard to find, especially for older model vehicles, can the trim be reused and just the rubber seal be replaced? Is that possible if the trim comes out undamaged, or is the seal and trim all one piece? Thank you again.

When I slid mein out there was a peice of black plastic at the front that fell into the door. do you have anything on that?
The clip in my case does not snap in place. There is nothing that could hold the clip in place. I put a bit of Gorilla glue on the inside part of the clip
, pushed it in its place and put some weight on it. I know it will not come out as easily as it is supposed to, but it will take a other 10 years to replace it.

Can someone tell me if the window weatherstrip seal from a 2003 to 2008 Toyota Corolla fits into a 2009 2010 Toyota Corolla?.
Would like to know the answer too. Got a 03 and 10 and would like to switch them cuz my 10 strips are bad.

A tool is not needed! Just make sure to clean everything before installing the new one!

Hiya. Yes I checked, and the part numbers will fit your Corolla S. The part numbers are different only for the top of the line LE Corolla years 2012-08 and newer.

Yes, in the U.S. driver side is left side.
Mine doesn't seem to snap in place. I push it all in and it comes back up. What could I be doing wrong?

@@mohammadokdah1863 I found that after I left it for a few days almost in that I just spontaneously was able to snap it in place. I'm not sure if it was because the car was in the sun the first time. It definitely wasn't as easy as it looked.
And dealers charge $170 for replacement of 1 moulding (including the cost of the spare part), lol
It amazes me what dealers or repairmen charge for something like this or anything else. I once had someone quote me $600 to fix my A/C and he couldn’t even tell me what was wrong. Did it myself for $50.
That is a high tech repair, if you don't watch them do it! And yet another good reason to stay away from the Stealership!

i bought a cheap knock off weather strip on ebay for much cheaper. didnt snap in right. regret not getting the oem one so heads up people.

eBay ones I bought were junk had to use a rubber mallet so they would set right and not leak into the door. Oem next time 😳
