I agree. I wasn't sure at first, either, but she did well in the role. I read that she was quite popular with other castmates. They often refer to her life ending so early at age 42. She died of cancer.
Did you notice how Quentin, almost blithely, walked away into the night as Barnabas and Julia were desperately trying to prevent the zombie-pirates from breaking down that door outside of Tad’s playroom? The guy was about as “useful” as Dameon Edwards, the PT leisure-suited ghost, in battling Gerard and his zombie-pirates.
When Julia travels to 1840, she sees Carrie, Gabriel, Samantha, & then Ben Stokes whilst Julia is hiding behind walls. Gabriel demanded that Ben go to his father, Daniel about changing the Will so the inheritance will all go to Gabriel instead of Samantha.
@@rustynailmendlesohn8710 I know what you mean about picking up more details. I often feel that when I am editing videos because instead of a phone call or other distraction, I'm glued to the monitor.
Thayer David-incomparable, as always.
I learned to really appreciate Virginia Vestoff as Samantha . It took time but I love her scenes with both Gabriel and Quentin.

I want to know how Gabriel gets up and down the stairs in his wheelchair.
This stuff about the will gets kind of tedious. Gerard will liven things up when we finally get to hear him speak.
HOW INTERESTING, SO WE ARE NOW BACK IN TIME, BUT I WONDER HOW ARE THINGS IN PARALLEL TIME WHILE THIS IS GOING ON IN 1840 AT THE SAME TIME?
Do you know that using all caps means you are shouting?

Episodes #1109-#1198 was the final great run for Dark Shadows; 1841 Parallel Time was pathetic

@@rustynailmendlesohn8710 Very nice.
@@rustynailmendlesohn8710 Do be careful with those cute kitties. 😅
I wonder if Lazlo, Angelique’s traveling partner, was a possible ancestor of King Johnny Romano, and Sandor and Magda Racosi?
I like 1841 Parallel Time, also. It's different but I've really come to 😅enjoy it, too.
I never cared for the character of Carrie, or the actress who played her ...
