I absolutely was addicted to Dark Shadows as a kid. Doing a marathon right now from beginning..what memories! Excellent actors, excellent storyline...the craft at it's finest!
Sharon is 6 months younger than me, and David 7 months older. Very relatable to me when I started watching in April '67, just before turning 10, and they still are.
Thank you so much for these videos. I do wish that you would have given a verbal list of the friends and characters that have passed away. I was at that convention but I don’t really remember all the video. Thank you again so much. I am totally blind and that is the reason I asked for more audio.
@@donnabrown8582 I recently got into the books (Salem Branch and Angelique's Descent) and I feel they often read like what DS could have been with a weekly format, less constraints, editing, and a higher budget.
@DavidElijahNahmod That's not so as he does respond and by the way today is his Birthday...Why don't you all send him some Happy Birthday wishes?, he always reply's and is a really nice but very busy guy with a ever growing family and businesses to run in and out of Panama! love, Sophia
He's too busy as a restauranteur in another country, and has a family. I'm acquainted with him and we are working on a couple creative projects together. He's not interested in his tv past and I don't ask him about it. He's the second actor from the show I've had as a client.
Tubi is driving me nuts because it skips episodes, and also Tubi replays the same episodes back to back. It is extremely annoying.😮 I want to see them in order.
He has not ""isolated himself" from the the show. It's 50 years in the past. He's done with it. I know him. He's not interested. He's a successful and very busy restaurant owner in another country. He has a family. I just finished a creative project for him and we have more work ahead. He's not interested in the past 50 years ago. He has a life. I don't even talk to him about it. I'm a fan, but I just don't do it.
I did always find that strange that he has never seemed to talk about it. I get it was a long time ago, but that was a big part of his childhood/early teen years.
@@picassoboy52 I'm glad he is happy with his restraunt bussiness and yeah it's a shame he has no interest in talking about Dark Shadows like the other cast members.........reminds me of the actor who played Charlie Bucket in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory with Gen Wilder. he only did that movie and then left acting....but he enjoys talking about the movie with the rest of the cast.
@@patrickperalta59 I remember trying to find any information as to whether he suffered the abuse that so many other child actors went through, but there was none. In fact, as Denise Nickerson and Sharon Smyth have said, all the actors and producers were like parents to them.
I do know that he lives in Panama City, and is the owner of several successful gourmet restaurants in the United States and I believe in other countries. Perhaps he is just too busy, and he does live a good distance away. I have never heard of any report of David being one of those "abused" or "overly pushed" show business children who simply want to put this stage of their lives behind them. He is likely a very private person, and that is all there is to it.
I do art for him that he uses in his restaurants. He's not interested in DS or whatever he did 50 years ago. He's extremely busy and has a family. I'm a fan but I don't talk to him about it. Kathryn Leigh Scott is also a client of mine. David isn't interested in DS. And I don't ask him about it. Neither should you. He lives 4700 miles from the US. He's very successful and extremely busy.
@@pennydubose9867 exactly I am with you. SWL sound kind of Rude. If you don't talk to him about Dark Shadows how the hell do you know his feelings towards it or what he is willing to discuss?
David Henesy was great on Dark Shadows. a shame he has not attended any Dark Shadow event with the rest of the cast I assume he is happy with his restraunts... as Far as I know he didn't do anything else after Dark Shadows not sure about before unless it was commercials... he's like the actor who played Charlie Bukket in Willy Wonk and the Chocolate Factory that was his only acting job.
I read that before Dark Shadows, Henesy acted on stage, including one of Fagin's Boys in Oliver! He was already a pro when they cast him on Dark Shadows.
He's very much alive and he hires me on a regular basis to create art to use in his restaurant. He's extremely busy and successful. I'm having a ball working with him. As of march 1st of 2020 he's very much alive! I'm in regular contact with him. However he's not interested in his past on DS and I don't ask him about it.
Why would anyone who participated in such an iconic cultural phenomenon eschew taking about it? What is there to hide? He’s the only actor who has deliberately distanced himself from the Dark Shadows legacy. Sounds fishy to me. Maybe he’s still possessed by Count Petofi.

David was such a good child actor. He was one of the best.
Yes he was💯
David was the key to the shows success IMO. The reason all us kids watched.
David was important..But I watched DARK SHADOWS for more Gothic Romance, Mystery and Horror reasons.
David Henesy another great talent.
I’m so glad I have the complete series DVD’s. They are in the wide rotation and will come up for me to watch again at some point. Excellent program.
I have been a fan of David s for a long time ! Hes near my age ! Hed was grea with Sharon Smith and Denise Nickerson Kathy Cody !
Sharon is 6 months younger than me, and David 7 months older. Very relatable to me when I started watching in April '67, just before turning 10, and they still are.
Great child actor--DS was so lucky to have him. And "first adorable, then handsome" is the perfect description.
Love this, love this!

David and Amy were two of the most scariest horror children when Quentin haunted Collinwood. They were very creepy.
its funny how David never learned his lesson even since he was a kid. the actor was really good though.
Loved dark shadows but the acting was so hammy and forced sounding. Enjoyed the books better

This was Sarah (Barnabas' sister)...
I agree but the rest of the time. They weren't. I liked them
awesome. i love this show so much.
David was a great actor on Dark Shadows, and Sarah was adorable.
David was such a handsome great child actor loved Denise Nickerson as Amy too Sara was pretty sweet too !
Awe
Nice Tin Soldier
Tysm Sarah

Very interesting how David Henesy has all but cut himself off from the DS family. I recall him taking part in one Zoom reunion, but that was about it.

SHARON...was very good and really gave Sarah a sweet, but supernatural Vibe. I'd have been very happy to see her be a "regular" Ghost!
Can you please post the rest of Sharon/Kathleen? I was stuck waaaaaay in the back!
Can someone give me the link to David Henesys` Facebook page?
Don't go there and act like a fan boy. He's not interested. I know him.
Tubi is driving me nuts because it skips episodes, and also Tubi replays the same episodes back to back. It is extremely annoying.😮 I want to see them in order.
Why has D.H. isolated himself so much from the show?, Has he EVER done an interview?
