For those of you complaining that it's not in English as if you're surprised not everything on the internet is catered towards you, you can click the "cc" box at the bottom of the video for subtitles.
It's pretty easy to follow even without the language, but for the extra tidbit of info if you don't understand Japanese, the most relevant thing is that she imagines that she tells the girl next to her that her earrings are super cute and that the girl says she makes them herself, then everyone's like "wow really?" and she pulls out other jewelry she makes and they have a party etc. Then she imagines she has the courage to tell the guy the food he made was delicious. At the end she finally gets up and acts on her fantasies, interacting with real people instead of secluding herself and keeping her nose stuck in her phone. Good message, great video, and nice soft animation! Lovely. :)
It looks like they're using Italian hand gestures. The shaking thumbs up sign the guy made means "OK" and the girl pressing her index finger to her cheek means "delicious" in Italy.
This is me allllll the time - I wish we all could just let go of our insecurities and be super sociable and not only not care but enjoy it too; that would be so great ^__^
It scares me a little how much of this I understood having never taken a Japanese class. Either way this is adorable, and doesn't really NEED translation, that's the awesome part.
welcome to the restaurant, I want this pasta please, and then when the battery goes out she turns to the girl and says, how cute her earrings are, and the others notice also and chip in with "sou desu ne"s and such, complimenting too then with the pretty chef he asks, if it tastes good, oishii desu ka, and she says it tastes REALLY good, totemo oishii, and then her dream clips out, the waitress gives her the food, repeating what it is called, she notices the real chef and he he is gesturing to the food she gestures that she likes it, then images herself getting up confidently saying, I really love your food, but then in the real world she gets up and rather skittishly walks over, Sorry if I misunderstood I only made it threw Japanese 2 in my school and I haven't been too good at memorizing things so this is what I could get.
Aimixx2 Also I think when she compliments the girl she says she made the earrings herself and the guys say that it's awesome. Then the main girl asks her if she makes accessories and she takes out a box of her creations.
I work at a restaurant so this really speaks volumes to me. The message is really loud and clear for me. More and more people look at their phone while not talking to their friends/family/significant other while waiting for their food or eating. It's really sad to see how technology has controlled our way of socializing. All I'm saying is for people to be aware of their surroundings and talk to whoever they are with instead of being on their phone once in a while.
This is why when my family goes out, we have the no phone rule. (Unless to take pictures) Since we're all busy with school and work, it's rare for all of us to sit down and talk.
Rev Snowfox That's interesting,i'd like to see these anime.Speaking of italian, is too much present in anime sometimes!you can imagine how i was shocked to see anime like hetalia and Reborn 0.o I found them embarassing and hilarious at the same time, also because in every anime i never hear a right pronunciation XD.
I love how she lets her imagination run away with her, even as an adult. It turns the normally mundane into something magical. Ending music is charming.
Actually you can, just click on the "subtitles/CC" icon (it's shaped like a box) on the lower right hand corner of the UA-cam player and make sure your "Settings" icon (it's shaped like a clockwork gear) to whatever your prefered language
Wow. I love the colors of this anime short. Also, I find it kinda true that we all stick to our electric stuff too much and there is more to life than abstract communication.
This was really cute! (I know basic Japanese so I understood most of it :D) pretty much this is what I dream would happen if people stopped being on phones for a minute or two.
Every time it shows a film on yt about smartphones and social networks there's always someone complaining that you use that smartphone to watch it... No. Stop with that. This is not the point of these films.
idk about you but i only come across these animations while watching a bunch of recommended videos late at night when im in bed not hanging out with family or friends :/
It's really frustrating when you're half Japanese and understand what they're saying, but can't read most of it and reply to some of the lovely comments/creator. Really nice job and wonderful colour scheme. The theme was also well thought out!

It looks like they're using Italian hand gestures.
The shaking thumbs up sign the guy made means "OK" and the girl pressing her index finger to her cheek means "delicious" in Italy.
+Alex Sanchez Do you mean that thumbs up does not mean "OK" everywhere???
+Team BlackLight In some cases, thumbs up can mean "up your anus". So it has some offensive uses, too.
Liuhuayue
Oh ok thank you, I'm new here *steps away with an evil laugh*
Team BlackLight ... :/

This is me allllll the time - I wish we all could just let go of our insecurities and be super sociable and not only not care but enjoy it too; that would be so great ^__^
Me too- I think if we just talk to each other more often we would be a lot more happier
I Tried that once... and I got some pepper spray
don't we all haha 😆
Same
It scares me a little how much of this I understood having never taken a Japanese class.
Either way this is adorable, and doesn't really NEED translation, that's the awesome part.
And for someone who knows japanese, these sentences are great because they are REALLY simple.
buuburn7
I can definitely tell. I'm learning Japanese and am Japanese 1 and I can understand quite a bit of this :D
welcome to the restaurant, I want this pasta please, and then when the battery goes out she turns to the girl and says, how cute her earrings are, and the others notice also and chip in with "sou desu ne"s and such, complimenting too then with the pretty chef he asks, if it tastes good, oishii desu ka, and she says it tastes REALLY good, totemo oishii, and then her dream clips out, the waitress gives her the food, repeating what it is called, she notices the real chef and he he is gesturing to the food she gestures that she likes it, then images herself getting up confidently saying, I really love your food, but then in the real world she gets up and rather skittishly walks over, Sorry if I misunderstood I only made it threw Japanese 2 in my school and I haven't been too good at memorizing things so this is what I could get.
Me too! But it's only because I've been watching anime a lot :3
Aimixx2
Also I think when she compliments the girl she says she made the earrings herself and the guys say that it's awesome. Then the main girl asks her if she makes accessories and she takes out a box of her creations.

It's really sad to see how technology has controlled our way of socializing. All I'm saying is for people to be aware of their surroundings and talk to whoever they are with instead of being on their phone once in a while.
And that's a good thing. I just wanted to put my views across is all. Too many customers look at their phones and not talk with whoever they are with.
This is why when my family goes out, we have the no phone rule. (Unless to take pictures) Since we're all busy with school and work, it's rare for all of us to sit down and talk.
True, but sometimes i dont want to talk with the people i'm with lol, and im forced to be there, so in that case i am thankful for phones
Omg that was so cute :3 i'm italian,so when i watch japanese animation with italian words and gestures it's impossible for me not to smile :)
Ending music is charming.
so..........the point of this video is...... "Drop your phone and get a real life".........
Pretty sure that's it.
nope! the point of this video is "don't eat spaghetti in japan restaurant, they are poisoned and give you allucinations"...c'mon,it was so easy....
Aw man, I think your correct!
haha...... Agreed......... :D

Wow. I love the colors of this anime short. Also, I find it kinda true that we all stick to our electric stuff too much and there is more to life than abstract communication.
Funny how I actually understood like half of this thanks to excessive anime watching 😂
Squishy Penguin Soo & Pink Princess Jin I KNOW RIGHT XD
It's good that they speak in Anime-Japanese :)
Normal Japanese sounds different.
I understood some of it.
With a combination of Video and some Japanese and 3 sentences of subs.
I watch anime also but not all the time
This was really cute! (I know basic Japanese so I understood most of it :D) pretty much this is what I dream would happen if people stopped being on phones for a minute or two.

It's ironic the fact that most of us are using our cellphones to watch it, and the main point it's to stop using it and start to coexist.

The animation is so clean I don't even care that I have no idea what's happening.
It's really frustrating when you're half Japanese and understand what they're saying, but can't read most of it and reply to some of the lovely comments/creator. Really nice job and wonderful colour scheme. The theme was also well thought out!
Exactly what I was thinking. (I'm not half Japanese, I'm full but I was raised in America so you know)
