The History of the Asgard (Stargate SG1)

- The Asgard were a highly developed, philanthropic race in the Ida Galaxy which visited and protected humans on Earth and elsewhere. When interacting with early humans, they posed as beneficent protective gods, eventually giving rise to the Norse mythology on Earth.
Part of the Alliance of Four Great Races, they were among the most advanced races in the universe, matched only by the Ancients, the Nox, and possibly the Furlings. They assumed the role of protectors of the Milky Way galaxy and later passed that role down to the Tau'ri, to whom they gifted all of their knowledge to.

Incredible job here man. I watched Stargate and Stargate Atlantis all the way through with my father. He passed away a few years ago and ever so often i rewatch both. Those were the best years i had with him and Stargate will always hold a special place in my heart because of it. Thank you for this.
Hey you are most welcome, and thank you very much. It is a rare thing when they make a show that many generations can enjoy together. My Dad and Grandpa likes it, and I have even gotten my kids to watch it occasionally . Have a great day and a happy new year 😎👍
I would watch random episodes with my dad as a teen/young adult. He died 4 years ago. Now I've started watching SG-1 all the way through and wow, what a great show! I regret not taking more of an interest back in the day, but you know how young folks can be.
Omega, sounds like your kids are kinda like me when I was younger, and I'm sure they will think back fondly on the episodes you did watch together someday!
Awww thank you, I hope they do. Maybe I can get them to watch more. It is a great thing to have a shared interest. 😎👍
I feel ya. That's what Star Trek was for my father and me. He passed away unexpectedly in 2005 when I was 21, but I'm happy to share my love of Sci-fi with my own kids now.
So, even though I'm rather young at 21 years old, it fills my heart to see so many different people have deep nostalgic feelings for Stargate. It's one of these shows that, even though I might forget about them from time to time, I always come back to them, and they never cease to amaze me. Stargate probably even more so than most other shows.
I love every bit of SG content I can find online, and your videos are definitely high up there. Consider me a fan, and keep up the good work!
Thank you kindly! I always felt like Stargate got the short end of the stick when it came to Syfy content. It's a very well-developed universe, and far more realistic than many others. And they always add a healthy dos of humor to almost every episode!😎👍
I have every season of SG1 and Atlantis on dvd. I am 48 and I watch them at least once every few months. And I always catch something that I missed from the other times I watched. It warms my heart to see the younger generation find and love such a great series. I hope they revive sg1 without the politics and woke bs of today though!
I feel the same way Jason!😎👍
@@OmegaOrdained This video is amazing aside from the pronunciation of Goa'uld. It's like you never actually watched the show, when clearly you did.
Thank you Will. Goa'uld is a hard one to pronounce especially when in the show they pronounce it several different ways hahaha have a great day 😎👍
The shot from Othalla back to the fast approaching earth was epic. Love the Asgard Tech. Thor is one of my all time favorite aliens.
Sami Common Thor is my all-time favorite grey LOL

The Asgard could always be counted upon to secure the rear end in any battle 😮
Hahahaha😄😄😄
Indeed! Just like the Coast Guard protects the coast and the Color Guard protects the flag, the Asgard, when they found out that their race was dying, gave their technology to the newly emerging fifth race and covered the human's rears while sacrificing themselves.
Somewhere out there is an Asgard Soldier protecting Uranus.
The exo suits and other tech the asgard used in pegasus were left overs of the ancients. They're the same suits in stargate universe based on an ancient ship.
SG and its spin offs have some of the best interstellar space battles ever imagined.

I like to think they the vanir succeed in saving their race. They get to start over but lose all the knowledge they obtain from living numerous lifetimes.
why though would they lose it? they can transfer consciousness, and had similar tech to the ancients who literally could fashion humanoid bodies and also transfer consciousness/knowledge.
@@ayudameporfavor1146 the vanir are essentially a split path and a much smaller sect. They've been secluded by the destruction of their intergalactic drives during the lantean wraith-war, and their main research has been genetic in nature. Unless they get an Asgard core from Stargate command, they wouldn't have a lot of knowledge of recent Ida/milky way asgards where they shared info with the ancients/nox/furlong/earth or their own branched development
Everyone Knows But the Plot line of SG Series But , Am I the only one that Thought That this was one of Most Original Concepts for a show in the History of Scifi ?
The Asgard met the Ancients 10,000 years ago... Hardly likely as the ancients left Pegasus only 10,000 years ago and the many Asgard were already there in Pegasus and knew of the ancients.
Omega Ordained
22.2K subscribers You gotta love the Asgard, because they TOTALLY kick ass! The Asgard are actually a really great and GOOD example of benevolent, kind, gentle, and very reasonable friendly aliens, who see Humans as not only allies, but also true friends. I really really really REALLY like the Asgard. Also their spaceships, weapons, shielding, and teleportation technology are awesome too.
Yep, you got to love those little guys LOL😎👍
@@OmegaOrdained Yep. You also gotta feel very sad for them when they had no choice but to END their entire race because of irreversible Consequences.
I hated that....
@@OmegaOrdained Same here too. They didn't deserve that end..... but if they hadn't given up their knowledge and technology to Humanity............ those PURE EVIL Ori would have gotten their non-existent FILTHY hands on the Asgard knowledge, weapons, and technology and the Ori themselves WOULD have used it for their PURE EVIL, sadistic, vile, and nefarious purposes to HARM INNOCENTS.
That is absolutely true, however if the entire azaguard species were going to mass suicide, I don't know why they didn't Hank out as many ori with them hahaha😎👍

Interesting the Asguard had the wisdom to know they were going extinct so they handed their civilization accomplishment to humans. Just as humans might have to one day.
The Asgard ancestors look a lot like the guardians of the green lantern core
@ComocosonoEWL The guardians of the green lantern core don't really look like grey's imo. They look like the Watchers from the marvel comics.
@@EddyA1337 maybe they are XD
I think they started off as another human offshoot of the ancients honestly, I think the entire ancient alliance are offshoot races from the looks of them. In millions of years they could become completely separate races, but still share common ancestors.
Other than your Constant, Tragic, Embarrassing mispronunciations of the Goa'uld and Tau'ri and other words, proving you probably haven't watched the show personally, that was a pretty decent Asgard History.
Best series ever 🥺
You forgot to mention that Ra's host was the asgardian Famrir, before he took a human host.
Hector Arroyo is that from a novel?

What I didn’t understand is why not use artificial bodies until they were able to build or rebuild flesh bodies!!!
Reggy2000 I’m sure they tried it somewhere in 100,000 years of their civilisation and it wasn’t feasible
Altenarian SGU’s chair could extract consciousness. Elizabeth Weir (human with nanites) was able to “digitally ascend” and eventually take a nanite body.
Remember SG1 were replicated into artificial bodies by a planet many seasons ago. That planet ran just that way, but there was major issues. Their race supposedly died out when everyone permanently left and their artificial bodies supposedly died out since they were unable to recharge or something like that. There were races that did that, but there were major issues.
but.... the Ancients possessed the tech to recreate human/humanoid bodies...also they could have taken hosts, like the tok'ra and Go-a'uld
they could have done it...
I've just finished watching all 10 seasons of sg1 for the 3rd time...... Why are these appearing on my UA-cam recommendations when I have never searched for this ????? That's weird
I've noticed Oddities like this myself. I watch different things on UA-cam on my phone, versus different things on UA-cam in my bedroom on my Smart TV. Sometimes I get recommendations for the things I'm watching but on the wrong devices.😎👍
You live different from us, but we all acknowledge similar truths. That is the fundamental unifier between the 4 great races.
dilation - the action of dilating a vessel or opening or the process of becoming dilated.
Are the pyramids at Giza not of vessels?
Dilating the Pyramids of Giza.
First take the interior layout of Kufu’s Pyramid and look at the layout as if it is a telescope.
Second designing the interior layout into Kufu’s Telescope.
The roof of the King’s Chamber is an eye looking through the eyepiece. The layers of the King’s Chamber would be the lens of the eye piece stacked on top of each other with the thickness of each eyepiece being the depth of each layer. The larger outer diameter sections of the King’s Chamber would be a separating ring between each lens. The bottom of the chamber is the section that inserts into the telescope, 1.25" standard size.
The Queens Chamber is a spotting scope eye piece used to align the telescope to a celestial object.
Directly below the Queens Chamber is the mirror that focuses the light into the KIng’s Chamber eyepiece.
The room to the left is the diameter of the main mirror that reflects the star light onto the Queen’s Chamber mirror that is then directed into the King’s Eyepiece.
The focal length is the distance from the bottom of the room below the Queen’s Chamber to the bottom of the room of the King’s Chamber that the single shaft leads into.
When all of the measurements are converted into a standard telescope size. 127mm for example, The Kufu Pyramid Telescope will be complete.
The shaft leading into the pyramid appears to point to a certain star when when viewed from the bottom of the shaft. Why workers build a shaft at an angle going down into the lowest chamber when a shaft opening level with the ground would have made accessing the pyramid much easier for interior construction.
The shafts leading from the King and Queen’s Chamber also appears to be some type of celestial guide.
First, run a center line from the at the bottom of shafts running through the Big Void and Grand Gallery into space. When the center lines cross, part that area in space as there should be a notable star that passes through the lines where the lines cross.
Next run a center line from the bottom of the shaft at the bottom of the Queen’s chamber through the shaft and into space. Do the same with the shaft at the bottom of the King’s Chamber. These two center lines would never meet in space.
When the Big Void and Grand Gallery lines intersect, a line running from the point of intersection through the center lines on the left should create a band of stars of interest that wrap around the pyramid in a 360 degree field of view that would be seen year around.
Reversing the above process creates a mirrored effect but under the ground.
Underground (red lines)
At the point underground where the two chambers lines intersect (red lines on the right from the King and Queen’s Chambers), draw a line from the intersection to the left crossing into the opposite lines of the Big Void Shaft and Queen’s Chamber shaft.
Like the King and Queen’s Right Ascension shaft lines, the lower lines will never meet either but will run into infinity. The lines on the left would seem to represent the back part of the eye taking in all light coming in through the iris on the right. The distance between the Right Ascension lines of the Big Void and Grand Chamber appear to contract, dilate or get smaller, much like the eye dilates during various times of the day. During the day and up close to Kufu’s Pyramid the eye would see great detail, for example. But contracting more so during intense periods of light.
The distance between the lines on the left side of Kufu’s pyramid expand the further away from the pyramid and into space they travel. Just like the eye expands to allow for more light during the night.
When the lines of the left side are extended into space and past the Earth, they create rings that get larger and larger until the eye is wide open and taking in all light. As the distance between the points of intersection on the right gets smaller they create a rectangle of distance between the upper and lower points of intersection that are offset. The midpoint on the rectangle becomes the center line of viewing that when the angle of the pyramid opposite the Big Void is relative to its facing in Right Ascension, there should be some remarkable space glyphs found in the angle of both lines of the King and Queen’s shaft center lines relative to 90 degrees outwards from the floor of the King and Queen’s Chambers through each ring in space that is turned 90 degrees on the upper and lower chamber center lines of the King and Queens shafts.
I came to this determination after finding a UV glyph that is nearly 100% the same arrangement as the arrangement of the chambers of Kufu’s Pyramid.
There is also a second UV glyph that I found that looks like two mountains or pyramids where the angle of the sides form a smaller, third pyramid thus completing the three sizes of pyramids at Giza.
There is also a line pointing to the middle of the two pyramids. The same representation is found when crossing the center lines of the King and Queen’s shafts on the left.
The representation could be that when Kufu’s pyramid is lined up correctly with a mountain range on the Moon, our closest planet that between the peaks of the mountains will be never before seen planet or sun that has a planet orbiting the sun that is habitable.
Or perhaps several planets that are habitable but cannot be seen except for the right alignment with the Pyramids and the Moon.

Im assuming some of this history is from comics or something cause some of this stuff isnt tv canon
@@philster4015 not all of it. The stuff about the asgard fighting the wraith and then sam taking over the asgard ship never happened in the shows or movies
There are other story lines that are considered canon and there are some flaws in continuity and dates between the movies and shows. Sometimes flaws within a series itself. I wouldn't focus on them because as knowledge in the real world increased the shows change to be more based on reality. All sci-fi shows do it if they run long enough.
They use to be able to track a mount as it travels through a worm whole because they believed it was a tunnel through space that you travel faster than the speed of light through, as described by Sam Carter to jack O'Neil about a worm burrowing through an apple. They stopped doing that because it was as far from accurate as space travel can be as we now know it. If you pass through a worm whole you instantly exit it on the other side because you bring those two points in space together, as described by the Tolan to Daniel Jackson about sending a transmission to the Nox. A location signal from the mount while the Stargate is active would triangulate to their Stargate. Since a transmission travels at the speed of light it would take centuries to get a signal that could be triangulated to whatever planet it was on.
@@DTG_LOCKETT I go by the star trek canon classification. Tv canon is separate from novels, comics and fan fiction. So a lot of this isnt the Prime canon (tv) but yes, like all other shows there is "some" continuity errors haha
@@garypalmer997
The type of material does not strictly define what is canon and what isn't.
A source is canon if the people in charge say that it's canon.

What I don't understand is: The Asgard are capable of storing several consciousnesses in a digital manner in their computers. That way they transfer them to new clone bodies.
Why would the not transfer consciousnesses into artificial bodies or rathre mechanical bodies which would allow them a lot more time to figure out how to make new bilogical bodies for themselves.
The two ships you show when talking about the ori heading to their planet were wraith not ori.
9:22 - 9:24 Correction: It was the Traveler ship's weapons that destroyed the Attero facility on the planet.
Where did the asgard warship vs wraith fleet happen? What about the vanir going to earth? Was this some extended universe stuff? I've wwtched every ep of sg1 and atlantis and I don't remember any of that

Caution: Don't use the time dilation feature if your shields are down. Great channel
I always wondered why you would still age in an Ancient suspended animation pod but not in an Asgard pod. Weir was on deaths door after being in stasis for 10k years but the early Asgard was suspended for 30k and still looked relatively young.
It was designed differently. I am sure in the short term they were identical. I don't believe the ancients meant for someone to be in it for such a long time. 😎👍
@@OmegaOrdained I would say that the Asgard never intended to be in that long either. Thor has mentioned that the Ancients were far more advanced than even his tace is right now, but for some reason an Asgard pod is from 30k years ago is more advanced than an Ancient pod from 10k years ago. That was when the Ancients were at the peak of their technology. I know that I am nitpicking, but it is one thing that always bugged me.
That is true, the Ancients were more advanced than the Asgard, however the Asgard just might have been better at making cryopods.😎👍
@@OmegaOrdained I can accept that. After all, the Tauri was able to accomplish feats that the Asgard couldn't.
Yup, you got it!😎👍
Honestly it's hard to believe the wraith didn't get wiped out by Vanir or ancients now that I'm thinking about it. There kind of lame in the technological sense even with there numbers. for the ancients I think it was more negligence. A failure to take the threat seriously in a timely manner. Vanir got bushwhacked most likely. Also the Gould against Acer seemed to also be a negligence thing. Anubis would wreck quite a number of there ships but he would go down eventually and shielding doesn't seem to keep teleporter beams off your ships so the rest of the system lords would fall. The only plausible threat here was replicators and Ori.

Extended is always bullshit
Ferlings. Never got to meet them.
Yeah, I'm sick of seeing Greys. Not because I hate the look, but I feel it's been overused by folks who didn't want to flex their creative muscles in designing unique aliens.
To be fair, Stargate is trying to tie their aliens into actual human history, so they very deliberately made the Asgard look similar to 'greys'. It wasn't some lazy copout, it's literally the primary conceit of the canon.
Why didn’t the Asgard in the final year, create Asgard style replicator bodies and download themselves into them, over coming the illness they had developed
Also if the Asgard did this they essentially could create new Asgard and teach them like normal schooling etc to increase there dwindling population of for example download a basic intelligence package into them and then let the personality develop they could have done this with the clones but didn’t
That's a great question, I will assume that they were attached to their organic bodys, and did not want a mechanical one. I bet they had the technology to do so.
Omega Ordained hmm I guess it might have been we have spent hundreds of years fighting a plague that the replicators are we are NOT! Becoming them lol
I believe the asgard's way of having children, is the Clone one's self before death. Or after death, and upload their Consciousness into the Clone. I don't think they were interested in children. I believe you're right that they could have clone themselves and may children out of them, but I don't think the Asgard wanted to do that.😎👍

Why was no Asgard able to ascend ??
And for what reasons did they not stay with their consciences in ships, preserving their species?
I was thinking the same thing during the show the first time I watched it on TV. Maybe it's because they're more involved in technology than the spiritual side of things. Trying to Enlighten themselves through technology instead of just using their bodies and their minds to reach enlightenment.
@@dkidl2000 In fact the Altair, those who became the ancients and ascended, they are focused on science.
Those who belonged to the religion were the Ori.
Perhaps they lost the ability to ascend due to cloning.
But it is an issue that was not addressed in the series.
the amount of mispronounced words in this video makes me queasy. Still entertaining & informative though.
Starseed History Lesson Refresher . Thankyou
I don't buy the cloning and genetic engineering excuse for their eventual doom. Even today, we can map and edit genes, we just don't know what we're doing when we edit them or what we're seeing when we map them. The Asgards could easily have stored their progress digitally and each clone would be corrected to the desired baseline in their digital records rather than allowing errors to build up, they would not be copies of copies but copies of a digitally stored master record with digital archives and backups.
I believe their problem is what Kurzweil described as a neocortex. We have our biological cortexes each developed over a more primitive cortex from our evolution but computers and modern communications means we have increasing access to our computer databases and to each other as in social media. This could develop into our sense of self and identity extending to the database and community beyond our physical selves and thus is what Kurzweil calls our neocortex. You see some of this happening today with students posting exam questions in social media in hopes someone could help them during the exam and people on social media postings polls of what they should do. With the Asgards in the Pegasus galaxy, we see technology on their heads, perhaps neural implants, with Thor, we've seen his conscience uploaded to a ship computer and downloaded into a new body. As we saw no physical implants on Thor's head or the rest of the Asgards who did not travel to the Pegasus galaxy, it could be those technologic neural implants were replaced with biologic equivalents through genetic engineering. As ascension seems to involve one organic individual at a time (except in one episode of Atlantis), it could be that the Asgards saw ascension as only a portion of themselves ascending and hence did not view it as an option unless they could artificially induce mass ascension which would appear as mass suicide to us. Also, aside from the Pegasus galaxy Asgards who separated a long time ago, the Asgards did not seem to have any interstellar colonies and very few if them traveled in interstellar ships. It could be that the latencies and bandwidth restrictions of interstellar communications was disturbing to their sense of self which covered not only themselves but their databases and community.
Also, the path to ascension of the ancients seems to involve in giving up technology for an agrarian lifestyle presumably for appreciation of what's good and right but this could conceivably be to establish a sense of self apart from communication with others and with technology. Indeed the group that Sheppard help ascend in the Atlantis episode were living a pre-technologic agrarian life on a planet or moon designed to facilitate ascension.
I have a Feeling the so called sickness that affected the Asgard was induced by the Ori at some point.
They couldn't solve the problem due to the nature of the problem. They didn't understand the problem's origin. They may be unaware of the origin of the sickness too. Hence can not solve the problem.
The History of the Asgard- A cautionary prison tail...
or is it tale?

17 was here !!!
Wait when did all that happen @7:53 about the Asgard fighting the Wraith and the Wraith queen ?? This stuff about contacting the Ancients or an ascended Asgard wasn't in the tv series ...was this from the books ?
Yes sir this is from the books. I should have mentioned that in the video, sorry I didn't.😎👍
Omega Ordained You should’ve done that II I myself was wondering where that came from Where can I get a book
I'm starting to realize some of the inspiration behind the Orokin empire from the warframe universe
what i dont get is why the sgc never bought or traded weapons or power sources from the serrakins s7:e8 Space Race i mean ion propulsion tech is cool and all and, Warrick's bother Eamon said to Sam "there are better ones but they couldnt afford it " regarding sams naquadah generator useage by them, are we getting back to them in this "Continuation" that Brad Wright is talking about or what?
is there going to be a future milky way conflict with the Nakai? cause that'd be badass ; cut to scene ; atlantis crew finding some stockpiles of alterren warships (that make the rosinante from expanse look like a tin can) and an anceint armory to reload the planetary outpost stations that they're clued to by the ascended anceints sam finnaly makes a storage device capable of housing the anceint database man.... one can only imagine
Where did you get some of this information I do not remember hearing or seeing anything about Asgard ascending Elizabeth ascending. What shows were some of this information.
Hey some of this information does come from the novels. I should have put it in the description, sorry about that.😎👍
@@OmegaOrdained are the novels canon? I remember wanting to read them but stopped as soon as I read up somewhere that they are fan mades.
Lem Manalo greetings, technically they're not canon, but they're also not fan-made. The stories and everything needs to be approved by MGM or whoever controls the Stargate lore. Since I doubt we'll get any more sg1 SGA or SGU, I would consider them Cannon, a continuation of the story. I read a bunch of the Star Trek novels, and I know that they weren't allowed to do anything against Canon, and make the story fit in whatever timeline they were in. Some of them were excellent stories. 😎👍
I have double checked and can't find any episode where The Atlantis teem meets Finier the Asgard Scientist (7min - 50sec)
Can some one PLEASE tell me what series & episode this is in, PLEASE.
Sorry about that, it comes from one of the novels 😎👍
@@OmegaOrdained Thank God for that, I thought I was forgetting full episodes. OH, love the video too :-)
Hahaha hey no worries I've been told that I need to mention stuff that was not in the actual show. Since then I've been adding that to my videos. Have a great weekend and thank you for your kind words! 😎👍
I really hope that these don’t turn out to be our mistreated friends - duckbill platypus & piggy. I wonder what Deirdre thinks of space travel
Great video. But it's Goo AH Oold not Go Wald. Very nice topic though and well done.
Thank you😎👍
I heard its based on clasiffied secret document (based on true story) What's that music from - 5:15
I wouldn't doubt it. Sorry I forgot the music.😎👍
I don't understand how the asgard and the ancients could be in an alliance if the ancients ascended millions of years ago..
A SG1 reboot would entail Loki's return with the older asgard body and now the new asgard will as tall or taller than humans.
That would be awesome! 😎👍
Are you a fan of SG1?
Yes, SG1 was my favorite of the four series.😎👍
Absolutely Boss!
I wonder how Shepard could destroy those ships so easy? Unless the Asgard in the wraith galaxy wasn't as advanced as their bretherin which doesn't make sense
The Veneer separated themselves from the Asgard thousands of years ago, so they're technology was equivalent to then, and then many of their ships were destroyed by The Wraith. They were forced to use whatever they could to continue, which was inferior to what the Asgard had available, including the infrastructure, like the ability to build ships and things.😎👍
Sorry I didn't finish the conversation. I thought their tech was almost equal to the Atlanteans because they flew right through the shield.
You forget, Shepard is amazing.
That's the true quantitative Factor right there!😎👍
7:05 Asgard committed mass suicide to stop their tech from getting misused by other races, but before dying they gave it ALL to the secret American military organization
Aren’t the Asgards Asgardians like Thor, Loki and Odin etc?
Supreme Commander Thor, was their main contact with the asgard's, Loki was a crazy Asgard experimenting with people. And I don't think they ever mentioned Odin.😎👍
What about Hela (Thor’s sister) and his apparent battle with Surtur? Is this the right movie?
@@alexpacino1 Completely different franchise with completely different characters.
Alex Ojeda the joke missed ya by a few miles there bud.
@@alexpacino1 Bad jokes usually do.
I had a question. When I was young I remember I think from sg1 an episode were they are trying to stop a alligator/crocodile from reproducing so it melted out of an ice cap... do you know the episode???
Greetings Justin, that is not ringing a bell, I went to the fandom pages and typed in the information you provided, and was unable to come up with the result. Does anybody else remember this episode? Have a great day and enjoy your weekend!😎👍
I dont think thats from SG 1, i seen all episodes. Maybe from the SG cartoons?
@@gokou00716 I thought but not entirely sure it was from sg1 or Atlantis. Couldn't find the info anywhere. It wasn't a cartoon ,but maybe another series or movie. But thought it was stargate.
@@soniczero532 maybe Stagate Universe? A lot crazy stuff happened in that show.
Nice video, good subject, but I think a read with more concise enunciation and a faster cadence would help.
Maybe if you break the speech up into sections you have memorized. You slur many words, and fail to emote the phrases well.
The asgard on alantis didn't make the armour or the ship you see they salvaged belong to the ancient and maybe other race the only thing I see is there's is stuck in there head
I don’t know why I say there’s no Greys on TV anymore
Gotta love those Asgard Plasma Beam Weapons. Very effective against those pesky Ori.🛸👍
I love how right at the end they out did the ancients in ship weapons tech
Have you even watch the show it's goo ah oold
Actually I have seen this show before. Something I noticed about the pronunciation of the Gould, is no one in the show pronounces it the same way.
ComocosonoEWL thank you, if the director, the other actors, and the people who actually worked on the show didn't have a problem with different people pronouncing Gould differently , then what is the problem?hahaha😎👍
Why are the Asgard naked?
So if they are dying due to the copies of copies of copies are going through genetic breakdown... why don't they freeze copies before they die in stasis, transfer there consciousness into new bodies, and continue to make clones from the older model in stasis? This would allow them to make stupid amounts of clones, how many cells is that? When they finally used up a body, which would take who knows how long, they could then make copies with the next line down freezing that body in stasis. This would take far far longer no?
That would be a good solution! Maybe they need specific cells? Brain cells or something. But you're right you do have millions and billions and trillions of those so. Also there's the Thor putting his mind inside of his own Starship you could go the robotic bodies instead.😎👍
@@OmegaOrdained A swiss doctor has even recently discovered that the brain contains stem cells as well in the deep tissue. They have already experimented on other primates and have shown to be able to regrow damaged brains. They hope to move forward into human testing in the next few years. Alas, plots must continue in shows.
@@TinyTalesBookClub very nice, I didn't hear about that. Yeah them dying off just seem like a cop out. If they all wanted to commit suicide, they should have just launch one last massive assault against the orI, or the replicators or someone LOL😎👍
@@OmegaOrdained Another thing I was wondering, when they demolecularize going through a stargate and are reassembled on the other side... How do they know it's them coming out on the other side and not a copy? Think about it, they are deconstructed on a molecular level and reassambled in the exact fashion on the other side. That doesn't mean they survive, they could just die right when walking into the gate, the copy that comes out the other side thinks they came out fine because why wouldn't it, it has all the memories and is a perfect copy. If that's the case, think of all the times SG1 has died going through gates o.O
@@OmegaOrdained Another thing I didn't understand in SG1 was how Earth didn't get more tech earlier on. They even had that episode where they found the four defectors of another race hiding on Earth, they went to their planet in the end and found they had been destroyed by the Goa'uld. There had to be tons of stuff they could have taken from there. That was a space faring race. Plus they had one of the defectors. Why not hire him and have him help them acquire information and tech from all the stuff left behind on that planet?
This is what our today's scientist brains live in a fantasy world
Hahaha😆😆😆
The Asgard look like beings you just don't want to touch or you'll get slimy.
Wait where was some of this coming from ? It wasn't in the series or the movies ??
Probably comics or cartoons. I know there were other pieces of media around.
Books, comics, ect. and no not all information in the video is actual canon.
How did this machine affect the junkyards finances? They must’ve moved so much junk through
