- Come along with me as I experiment with stamping a fall pattern with potatoes onto a dress made out of bed sheets! This was such a fun project!
Ooh the shape of the kirtle is gorgeous, i love how that pattern turned out for this, and the print is so cute! The dots were a good call--it helps tie the motifs together, i think. (Also can sympathize, my cats love to "help" me cut out pattern pieces 😂)
I agree about the dots, I'm really glad I remembered! & that's the perfect way to put it, "helping" lol
I like how your idea kept evolving
Thanks!! I really like the challenge of figuring it out as I go lol
turned out GORGEOUS!!! i never would have thought of this, it's a brilliant idea!!! i'm a big fan of using second hand bedding for clothes. it's so efficient!!!
Thank you! & YES thrifting my fabric has ruined me as far as new fabric prices!
Oh I love this sooo so much, it's giving Miss Honey but kirtle version! Gorgeous!!
Oh my goodness! I got so excited when I saw the pattern you used is the same one I used for my final college project where I made my fabric from scratch. Your kirtle (and the video) turned out so lovely!
I think it turned out very cute
Stunning!!
Fun video!
Wow 🤩
This is SO freaking cute!!! 😊 I want to do this now lol. I wonder if you could do the same thing, but with fabric dye? Not sure potatoes would work, though 🤔 But sooooo cute ♡
What a great idea. I think I've seen lino print used as stamps as well.
YES! I want to try that some day
