- I have been feeling very uninspired outfit wise in this hot weather, so I thought I'd turn to Pinterest & try to recreate some looks from pieces I already own in my closet! Be sure to like & subscribe if you would like to support the channel!

I think the color is what makes those denim overalls feel fancier. Light color denim always feels more casual than darker denim.

Yes! I was thinking the same thing with the overalls. It could also be that her tshirt is also a plain white more "baby tee" fit.
Do not cry over the comfy blouse, make a duplicate! It looks to me like a modernised version of an edwardian 'gibson girl' blouse and patterns for those exists!
that is so true! The fabric is definitely gossamer light so I'll have to be on the lookout for the lightest fabric possible lol

That is so funny you mention that bc I literally have an outfit that i wear with that skirt that I call my "donna outfit", inspired by that scene!

I did just make a super cute kimono type jacket thing that goes with most of my wardrobe and was just doing a similar sort of dress up last night :)
For the t-shirt with the green skirt/dress. I would use safty pins to gathered the sides up and get them to stay.

They are all very cute🥰 if you ever make or buy more white shirts to wear you could always take a page out of historical fashion and sew some arm pit guards (I think that’s what they are called) into them to absorb the sweat.

I love that you are using stuff from your wardrobe because I'm trying to use what I have more. For loose tshirts I use a wooden tshirt ring in the back to keep the hem 'up' (the baggy tee and slip dress combo). Apparent tshirt rings aren't cool any more but I have only just discovered they exist and I think it's a genius invention as someone who has never managed to tie a tshirt in a knot (who has that much fabric spare?! Not me).
Cute as always! Thought: the outfit is casual but the hair style is what makes so many of those photos “elevate” the look imo (from a former hair stylist lol) try doing something simple but up and away from the face for the final look pics to complete the look!
Alternately: In the same vein as “light summer outfits” can we have a video about linen and the cruel dual mistress it is?? Perfect for breathability but wrinkles if you look at it, warps around when you cut it! I feel like I’m seeing companies that are using linen with patterns that would normally be structured but aren’t to keep them more “natural” I have mixed feelings. I love how light and breathable it is and I have tons of it from thrifted linen duvets but I’m torn on how to use it in a cute way 😩

Safety pins are a great way to change the shape of pant legs etc. Buy good strong pins…avoid those 100 for $1 variety. Walmart sewing area have (or had) black ones in different sizes.
I also like fall winter layers and colors.
Summer fashion is my nemesis! I'm so glad you did this, it's given me some very good and much needed style inspiration. Gonna have to try to find myself some denim shortalls now!

You mentioned you have overall shorts I'd love to see that paired with that granny cardigan sweater that you had knitted I don't know why but I feel like that might be might be fun And give the vibe of the knitted cardigan with shorts But with a twist. 🤔
The white/red outfit: before that shirt is unrecognizable, maybe you should try to take a pattern of it!
Loved all your outfits. I also hate shorts. I don’t know why but I think an elastic waist skirt looks fine but elastic waist shorts just look weird on me.
Oh and for the T-shirt and overalls combo I think if you add a long necklace it will look more fancy.
