seeing lizzie often referred to as joel’s wife is so crazy to me considering i grew up obsessed with crazy craft and hearing it very much the other way round!
im assuming for its from the influx of new people finding joel from hermitcraft. it does annoy me how lizzie has been making her own platform for years only to be referred to as "joel's wife" lmao
@@AstronomicalJelly no fr me too. i love joel's content so much and have for years, i remember them both making videos years and years ago, and they are their own people. what lizzie has created has been amazing as she's really built herself up and in my opinion revolutionised minecraft too. i don't think even joel would appreciate her being referred to her like that, he recognises her achievements in a really wholesome way. lizzie is great and i hope more people can discover her content and understand that she's been crazy successful!!

I’m so happy some of Joel’s new viewers get to see this side of him. I’ve been watching him for 8-9 years now and he has grown on the Minecraft platform so much. Can’t wait to see what he continues to do with his career ❤

I love watching Joel in MCC, I feel like he has a perfect balance of competitiveness/fun , he always tries his best but never gets discouraged when he messes up (cough cough SOT), It's just a bonus that he's also cracked at the craft.

I really enjoyed this podcast, of all the ones the guys have done. I felt that they gave Joel plenty of time to speak which was nice, as I sometimes feel that there isn't always enough of the guests speaking during the interviews. I love how honest Joel is, and he's a natural when being interviewed like that. Really enjoyable listen guys, great job!

i've been watching joel for many years now, and it is always such a joy to see others appreciate him & his work...he has always been such an amazing entertainer!! not to be parasocial but personality, humor, building skills, pvp skills, he has it all
Joel has been a lifelong inspiration to me as a person and an artist and idk where I’d be if I didn’t start watching him and lizzie in 2014 😭 he is such an incredible and genuine creator and he’s so much fun I always laugh while watching his videos.

The Life Series is 100% great content. Its probably my no.1 fav thing to watch on UA-cam.
I love your interview episodes. I think it's because it's the ones where you talk about what it's like to be a UA-camr, what your workweeks are like, what inspires you, what's difficult, and that kind of thing (so I also enjoy the non-interview ones where you talk about the same stuff). It was cool finding out how much all of you guys LOVE comments and fan art and that you read and see a lot more than just the ones you respond to. Very motivating to leave more comments!
I'd really like if you interviewed Pearl or Jojo because they are my favorite UA-camrs/streamers that you haven't interviewed yet. Jojo training Team TIES was the ultimate crossover for me and I've been loving the scrap mechanic streams. I've watched every Among us VOD and lots of Life series and every Jojosolos MCC vod, so it was really a treat!!!
I love watching Smallishbeans vids and im so happy he was interviewed on this podcast, i have watched several interviews on here and have loved every one, and i always get Smallishbeans sarcasm. (because i use so much sarcasm myself)

man the 5 star rating thing brings me back to the early days of youtube when i was only about 8-9. those early days were such a joy because almost everyone who made videos did it out of passion or just to make content

Joel poking and taking the mick is one of the reasons why I always go back to his channel as well as Jimmy's, I feel like it's a friend of mine because that's how I am with my friends, we all know it's a joke and we take it and dish it back in good fun, youtube seems really soft and many viewers are also like that and that's fine but there are PLENTY of us that are not, in fact I am the opposite, the more you take the mick the more I enjoy it and do it back, it's great

Man, what i love about Joel is how honest and humble he is. Any question you ask he answers so directly… he’s really not afraid to leave out any details. I loved when he was talking about how he cries more than Lizzie. I think a lot of men need that kind of role model in their lives

i love that most (all? idk) of joel’s old videos are still up and his old channel still exists. majority of people who have been around a while have deleted a bunch of their old vids, it’s nice that joel’s still are accessible

Delighted! Joel was our house's second Minecraft youtuber. Didn't really watch any until my daughter wanted to see some so I looked around for some ladies--found LDShadowLady, and thus Joel. They were our gateway to Life Series and thus Hermitcraft.

Before Season 10 started, the top three on my new hermit wish list was Martyn, Joel, and Skizz, and I didn't even know who Joel and Martyn were before the Life Series. These three topped my list based entirely on their personalities. I had NO IDEA what a fantastic builder Joel is.

I know that in the previous episode with Etho as a guest. I commented that I'd like to hear more from the guest and more from you two in episodes without a guest. I'm not sure if you read that before this episode was recorded. Or if you'd even care. - Could be that this is just a coincidence.
I just feel like the balance here was really really nice. You guys really let Joel say his thing, added to it at times ofcourse. It's still just a chill hanging out session. But I loved how much I got to hear from the man himself.

My first experience with Joel was when he was a Bad Boy. As a Team Tango fan... I hated them lol So when I heard he was joining HC I was intrigued and set out to watch his HC vids. What a wild ride it has been! Where has he been all my short HC watching life? Think I'm going to have to watch some of his other stuff as he's a riot! And YES, I subscribed! He can stop bugging me about it! lol
I just love how wonderful everyone in this circle is. The hermits, the Empires crew, the life series, Guess the Build. The whole lot of creators in these series are such lovely people.
Joel and lizzie are my childhood youtubers. I've always looked up to lizzie since i was little and as ive gotten older I've moved towards joels content. I remember being so excited as a kid when i was watching maybe dantdm (i cant remember) and i saw that lizzie had made it into minecraft story mode along with some of my other childhood favorites like stacyplays. When i got an Xbox for Christmas at 11 the first game i ever got to go with was Minecraft story mode lol

joel is seriously one of my favorite youtubers, i laugh every time i watch his videos. his ability to and prioritization of having fun over "winning" in things like the life series plus his somehow wholesome yet unserious and also incredibly skilled demeanor is so crazy fun. he has such a knack for making people smile and has mastered the balance of joking around in a way that can never come across as mean spirited or serious. so much of joel's content is the magic of balancing so many amazing things and knowing just how far to take every bit. one of my favorite series he's ever done is limited life because of just how much i laughed out loud. i love the bits he commits to

I love that Joel has such a different style (and indeed also Impulse and Skizz). Its part of why we can sub to several members of the same server - the different takes on the same event are all enjoyable to watch.
This podcast was excellent. You gave the guest plenty of room to elaborate which was lacking a bit in other episodes imo.
I am so thankful for the Life series introducing me to Joel. Quickly became one of my favorites. When Cleo burned his roof in 3rd Life and He's just is panicking trying to save it, screaming in his chaos-gremlin voice while burning to death. It was so funny and left such and impression, I've watched most of his stuff since.
I don't know if it was intentional but Skizz saying "Killing the Cow was the CATTLElyst" made me laugh so hard for like 3 minutes straight and it's made my entire night
