My then 8yr old daughter dressed as Lizzie for her inspiring person day at school 2 yrs ago. It's so important that kids, & people in general, get to see strong, amazing women breaking barriers & showing them that they can do what they love & be unapologetically themselves 💞 I mean, she made an entire musical out of a Minecraft smp & it was phenomenal! As a mom closer to your ages than hers, I'm super grateful. As a woman, I'm proud & inspired. I hope to see a few more fabulous ladies on the podcast in the future! We love, watch, & enjoy so many of the wonderful creators in your respective circles & look forward whatever fun content you put out next. Thank you all for being so lovely 🥰

lizzie talking about editing is so relatable. for some reason ive beeb getting REALLY into editing recently and ive been having so much fun with not just clipping videos and finding music, but the technical aspects of adjusting audio or finding new effects or mechanics that i didn't know before. its just a very fun process and im happy to see someone who also enjoys editing lol

You should get Someone who does Life series animatics like Rusty_Courage or Everen on the podcast, it would be super cool to hear them talk about their animatics to the people who inspired them to make those animatics and how their animatics impacted the life series fan base!

I love how Lizzie's lore works! In both seasons of empires but also in most of her other series!! Especially Afterlife smp, I think I've watched Lizzie's afterlife stuff about ten times now. That was how I first really got in to LDShadowLady, it was when I watched her as a racoon obsessing over trash, not knowing how to read, organizing her storage by color and so many other funny moments! I think it's safe to call me a big Shadow Cadet. ✨
The whole conversation about burnout and feeling like you need to post really just made me cry. I feel like that a lot on another one of my accounts and it’s really awful. I’ve thought about quitting, but then realize I don’t want to. Thank you guys for that, it really made me feel like I wasn’t the only one.❤

I love Lizzie. She was one of my first UA-cam Minecrafters I ever watched. Back in the Crazy Craft days. I was obsessed. It wasn’t until season 5 that I got into hermitcraft. But even though I’m 34 now, when I see a new Lizzie video, I always click it lol. She’s my number one watch on the life series, even if my husband would prefer to watch somebody else 😂

OMG ITS LIZZIE!!! Bro she is so wholesome and I honestly regret not watching her UA-cam videos as a kid, but when I did find her later she gave me such inspiration and confidence. Actively kicking my feet like I’m at a sleepover. This episode genuinely made my day and gave me motivation to draw.
I’ve definitely noticed that she does voiceovers over her footage, because the voice chat mod microphone doesn’t pop up at the right moments sometimes in her videos haha. It’s actually something I’ve picked up for editing thanks to her, and it’s such a handy tactic! 😂
If Lizzie is in the next Life season, I just know it’ll be hilarious if she runs into Skizz and Impulse

I’ve been watching Lizzie since 2013… My kids were young then, and her humor was always appropriate for them and cracked me up… now they are all adults, and I still love watching her!
i feel like lizzie has had such a big impact on many people and just the gaming community in general. I mean I know this is a weird example but just this past week there were two viral tweets. one of them was about how lizzie videos are still going strong, but what got to me was reading the qrt on that tweet. everyone was talking about how much of an impact lizzie made to their childhood and life. It was honestly also so cool to see that.
Also on another note , just being in a male dominated space its inspiring how much of influence she has had. Im not really articulating my words correctly right now but it just truly so cool to see .
also another thing I remember reading something about lizzie being the seconed most viewed female youtuber in the uk in 2018 ( behind dua lipa) and I think thats such a cool stat.

@@OkamiSamaa True though i have the impression, that she preffers shorter series. A Hermitcraft season can go on for well other a year, thats a lot of commitment and we already see quite a few hermits falling off already.

@@cadybutterfly-gv1vl Well for one i noticed the "usual suspects" Iskall, Stress, Etho (all 3 seem to be busy with Vault Hunters) and Welsknight (who it sems recently got back to making Hermitcraft content). With Mumbo we will see, he is active again, but also has had several long breaks this season. Those are the ones i noticed.
NO WAY… zxNoRegretzzxz (callmekevin) was the one who got me into Minecraft back in the day! I still remember the first episode, On the Search for Coal! I miss those days
Impulse meeting Lizzie in the Empires crossover was my first introduction to LDshadowlady (being new at the time to the server communities) and right from the bat she was so entertaining, talented and engaging. Thanks Impulse for ‘introducing’ me to one of my favourite creators! Loved the episode!

I'm realizing how many Minecraft UA-camrs started out as Call of Duty UA-camrs.
Just on this podcast we've had Joal, Lizzie, Mumbo, and I think even Scar said he did CoD videos at some point.
And beyond that, Captain Sparklez did CoD videos at first, and I know there's at least one more that's escaping me at the moment.
I really really hope the next part they talk about empires the musical!!!

Lizzie is such a lovely girl. I have only recently discovered her after finding the life series. I’ve now gone back and watched a lot of her previous videos. I love her editing and creativity. She seems like such a genuinely sweet person.

Just have to say, the EMPIRES MUSICAL is one of my all time favorite Minecraft videos EVER! Love it!
Oh my, this one is a GOOD one. That Lizzie, she's super entertaining. I don't follow her much, I skimmed some of her minecraft videos and just watched more of the people I knew already, and yeah, she totally deserves a second harder look. She's quirky, funny, and analyses herself with an accuracy that's almost lethal. Soooo many things she said resonate : the necessity to be creative, not just a drive, an absolute, the easily bored feeling, the lack of commitement that sorta follows, and the DIY part of her tinkering and learning everything from scratch.... I think I can learn a thing or two from that young lady. And that makes me say "Lady, you COULD have been a teacher, it would have gone maybe not swimmingly, but no teacher ever has it always easy, but you would have been great at it. I'd know, i'm one." Hey, i'm sorta glad she's not a teacher though, makes for more stuff for me to watch on youtube! Yay!
Random fact, lizzie is actually the first Minecraft UA-camr I even watched, on my 13th birthday my old best friend showed it to me while he was over for a sleepover. He showed me shadow craft, I was a couple years late, like I think shadow craft 2.0 was like 1-2 years old when I started watching shadow craft. And while I don’t really watch her still as I started watching other Minecrafters such as ones on hermitcraft, I do still watch Joel. Who’s content I was obviously introduced to through Lizzie
