Guys just pay $500 bucks for a PC and good hard drive and you will have every console and all their games from 1980-Now with the exception of PS5/Xbox X/S I’ve had the same set up for decades and still the most powerful
Thanks for this video! I'm an old timey (55 years old) gamer that's absolutely new to the world of emulation, but looking to play some of the games I once loved on older systems. I love the idea of having all the games already on the hard drive so I don't have to figure out the download process. But sad to see only ONE original Xbox game. Always hoping to see a collection of those games that were never ported to PS2 like Buffy (the original one, not Chaos Bleeds). That was a really good, underrated game. Also hoping that a lot of older sports games are represented, like the first few Madden games on the NES and all the NHL games for the Genesis. Also, did I miss something? Are there no Atari 2600 games? Would LOVE to play Adventure and Starmaster again. Also all those fine Activision games like Pitfall and River Raid and such.
This is a little pricey for what you're getting based on the games that seem to be on here, I could be wrong but if I were you I'd take a little time to look through the options available. Some of these things come with clean builds that have full console libraries and others come with builds that have multiple copies of the same games just with a slightly different title. Also with only 500gb of storage you probably aren't going to have a lot of room for most of the newer stuff past PlayStation or Dreamcast. There are even handheld devices pre loaded with games that can plug into a TV and connect wirelessly to a controller, but still the issue is going to be finding something with the games you want without a chunk being copies and wasted space. It's looking more and more like I'm going to get a mini pc that can run one of the 12tb game drives that have more games than I know what to do with. Whatever you do just don't rush when buying an emulation device because there are just So Many to choose from and if you get the wrong one you'll end up buying another just to get a couple of the consoles that weren't on the first device you bought. When I first got one I thought I wanted everything up to PlayStation, Dreamcast and older including Arcade titles that didn't get a home console port and the day I played my first device I realized I actually wanted something more, I went ahead and bought a more powerful device with 14TB of games instead of the 256GB my first device has and honestly it's still not exactly what I'm wanting. It's been tough finding something that can run X-Box and PS2 and actually comes with a full or sizable collection of both, it's probably going to cost at least $400-$500 or more if you're wanting something with X-Box and even more if you want X-Box 360. Hopefully you find what you want the first time 😅👍
Thanks for another great video. Please keep up the good work. Excited to see GameCube emulation becoming more affordable. Would this console work with the the 8bitdo type dongles only, or is it Bluetooth more generally?
Thanks I would go with usb dongle controllers with this which is what was provided so just upgrade to 8bitdo or easysmx usb dongle controllers for a better gaming experience
Good video !! Only thing is this plug and play for TV's , PC or both . I see plug and play I'm thinking for TV. No one is being specific. . And I don't want to buy anything that's just for PC they'll be a waste of my money.
Could you answer this question in all your reviews? It is important to some of us who no longer use a PC. I have wanted a few of the devices you have reviewed but chose not to pull the trigger because I wasn't sure if it was TV plug and play, or needed a CPU to be plug and play. Also, could you recommend the best in your opinion the best plug and play system for a tv? Or do a video on the best current version of a TV plug and play, be it a mini computer vs stick vs strictly a gaming device? Bang for buck?
Appreciate everything you do. Great work. But a little extra to help us little guys who aren't so smart would be appreciated. Thanks again for everything you do!
True. The language of whether this is a standalone console or something that needs to connect to a computer is unclear. The wording is inconsistent. Console- no PC. Drive- PC
Chase, I noticed that you mentioned Intellivision system on here. But from personal experience I can never play any games on it. Do you agree with me ?
Most games were made on c64 and ported and copied and hacked and mirrored and even new games are just old c64 games. Angry birds was just moon base or missile command.
What software do you recommend for scanning the drives before 1st use? I keep hearing to stay away from McAfee, Norton etc. What do you think is most safe and effective?

If there are systems that have: Nintendo 3Ds, XBOX One, PS4, XBOX Series X, PS5, & Nintendo Switch. Please let me know.
Another hunk of junk! If one of these companies was intelligent enough to put out a quality product with complete library of everything from gameboy advance up to PSP for handhelds and everything equal plus nes snes PS1 consoles and equal parallel systems up to PS3 and equal I would buy one immediately. As long as people keep buying this crap that's all they will give us. I wish we would all unite go on a buying strike until they put out something awesome. I know damn well they can
If I mailed you a couple HP EliteDesk 800 would you set it up and load it full of games that will run on it? Then mail them back to mw? Or at least one system.
@@OfficialChaseBrogan How about a personal video full of links, file names and a very detailed step by step I need. I want to make my self one. I also want to give my family members each one for Christmas.
I'm just happy we are getting to the point where we are getting PS2 and gamecube emulation on plug in plays.

Even though this is unpolished, it is capable and affordable. LOVE the PC games

Thanks man!! Check out the Buff Bagwell channel if you're a WCW fan. I produce his content and co host his lives every other Thursday night
Did the 3DS perform well? Also do you think you can "improve" the library of games as in add more Xbox and TRUE PSP and Wii games? How?

Same. I love my x5 pro
What's the best game emulator for different price levels as Christmas is coming.

nice
What software do you recommend for scanning the drives before 1st use? I keep hearing to stay away from McAfee, Norton etc. What do you think is most safe and effective?
Most safe and effective is to air gap the drives aka don't connect to anything that connects to your network or anything else
What are the specs of the pc they have inside ? batocera will show you the specs if you go into the settings.

What anti virus software would be best to scan the files, game hard drives instead of Norton and macaufee
Malwarebytes is good
Interesting 🤨
This is definitely a rookie build, the hardware seems decent but the rest is definitely thrown together by some newb sellers
