I watch every major Gaming announcement and have seen every trailer of the games obove, but there is this crazy thing called "opinion" though, maybe look it up. I also dont have any kind of connection to these games unlike Zelda.

Realistically, using that name only looks cool but not practical at all.
That would sound like "Splat-won" and naming it like that isn't good for business at all. They've done that once with the WiiU, and look at it... People think it's an upgrade instead of a new console (in this case, game)

I watched the whole thing, you guys shit on a lot that wasnt an established brand (Mario, Splatoon, Zelda, mainly). - I'll give you more credit than your friend, you at least gave a lot of the videos the benefit of the doubt, but there was a lot of dismissive commentary. - And hey, that's your right. But I think if anyone had anything negative to say about your reactions video, it would probably be that.
But I get it, it's "in the moment' type video and shit just leaps off of the tongue. Anyways, can't wait to see a deeper thoughts video!

Looking back from 2019. I think I watched this presentation live. Nintendo Switch has done so well. I love Nintendo.
I remember how magical this time felt. Immediately jumping on 2 different retailers to make sure that I could get at least 1 on launch day (which is the one I still have 💜). The wait between the reveal stream and launch day felt like a dream.
Looking back from 2023. I didn't watch this presentation live. Nintendo Switch has done so well. I love Nintendo.

Honestly I'm surprised by how much hype is around Arms. I mean it looks fun I suppose, but there's so much hype for it. Maybe I'm just getting old.
Lockstin & Gnoggin I'm intrigued, but I'm gonna wait to make a call until I see it more. It needs to have some serious depth to be worth the full price.

Yeah, for nintendo fans they're kind of lacking in the japanese game culture. This and Xenoblade being "single player mmo" lol. Xenoblade and SMT are two of the most respected franchises, the most mature ones and the one that gave the best games of this generation to players all over the world. Xenoblade Chronicle (the first one on Wii) is considered an absolute masterpiece, and I just don't get how a Nintendo fan could complain about the lack of games and 3rd party titles and not having played this one.
Even then, with all that talk of them being Nintendo fans, they should have at least known who Atlus was. Holy fuck, how in the hell can you not know the developers that made the SMT/Persona series!? I cringed when they said Atlus made a lot of bad games while having little knowledge of them lol They remind me of those casual Pokemon fans that only became fans after they played Pokemon Go.
XCX was pretty much a single player mmo though. Endless grind, lacklustre story etc. pp.
XC wasn't, however (there were similarities but that's it).
Glad I wasn't the only one thinking "Shin Megami x Dragon Quest" or "Persona x Dragon Quest". Ahh well, dreams are free I suppose hahaha.

I'm not into boxing games, but Arms look amazing.
Remember Xenoblade was announced early for the Wii U and came out at the end of its cycle 3 years later. Expect Xenoblade 2 in 2019. No More Heroes isn't even started it'll be out in 2019.

32gb of internal memory. SD compatible.
All games will be stored on cartridge, which means NO installation needed.
Savestates will more than likely be stored on cartridge, but if not, 32gb will be more than sufficient until you can get ahold of an SD.

Sadly No more heroes wasn't confirmed, he said he wanted to use the character but apparently maybe in a 'wrestling' setting so don't get too hyped yet.

It can't be anything other than NMH, because no more heroes is Grasshopper's best and popular title, compared to the rest.

15:13 Yoshiaki Koizumi is far from a "new guy". He wrote on the early Zelda games (he's responsible for a lot of the general worldbuilding in the series, plus Link's Awakening's and Majora's Mask's plot, and the different npc events in the latter) and was the director of ALL 3D Mario games. He's been with Nintendo for a looong time, I'm happy to see him move up in the company.

J Godden I was hoping it would be another bravely default, hopefully without a crap story. But that name is just weird...
To be fair the Bravely Default games (along with many other Square games) have utterly bizarre names. And yeah, it feels like it might draw on Bravely Default outside of sharing a concept/character artist. Maybe the battle system will include some of the series' innovations.

You guys are picking on the games even before the announcers have a chance to explain them, and then you talk over the announcers. lol This is why I don't enjoy group reactions, people bounce off each other more than they react to the presentation itself.
Everybody keeps saying they picked on something but I diidn't hear them say anything overly negative about anything besides Arms, 1 2 Switch, and Fifa.
shupasopni well for starters he didn't even pay attention to the Zelda trailer and that should be a crime. ARMS shouldn't have received that much negativity since IF they actually listened and saw what was going on they would have understood it's a new IP, pretty negative about Splatoon as well

That game where you were like "someone is freaking out." I was like "I AM FREAKING OUT! IT'S SMT!!!!!!" and then I remembered that SMT has a very small, niche audience.
Arlo has the best voice in the video game commentary industry.
Arms is actually going to be a good competitive fighting game, not a party game at all... people aren't taking it seriously enough because the name is mediocre and it followed 1, 2, Switch... pro controller support is confirmed for those hating on it because motion controls. It has a selection of characters that each play differently, and each has a variety of fists to equip on each hand individually that can be swapped between rounds allowing for a wide variety of strategic counter-play... I think it is going to be amazing, the ability to curve shots of your punches while they travel is a really unique mechanic!
Arms is nothing like punch-out. Punch out is more similar to rhythm games in terms of precise button presses and recognizing/memorizing patterns. Arms on the other hand is more similar to boxing on the wii sports (crossed with pokken).
