He is coming from an outsider perspective. He can't tell the difference between a "core" game and a spinoff. If you follow the series (like a Kirby fanatic like me) you can easily see this is a HUGE DEAL, but for Arlo this is just one more Kirby announcement.
*I'm going to ramble a bit, so be advised.* I've noticed that ever since Iwata became ill, and especially since his passing, Nintendo stopped doing the traditional press conferences. Why? Because they lost a man, no a friend and colleague, who represented the very things the company stands for: fun and togetherness. And ever since then, they're trying to keep those ideas alive, with the shorter spotlight shows, and hands-on demonstrations, to bring people together and have fun while doing so. Does this format make them an inferior company? In my opinion, no. It makes them a company willing to try things outside the box. And, as Arlo said, that's what makes Nintendo so special. I thoroughly enjoyed their spotlight and treehouse livestreams, and I can't wait to see what they have in store for us in the future.
I will have to RESPECTFULLY disagree. I feel as if the faster pace with minimal intermission really works better because it puts more spotlight on the GAMES rather than the interviews and in-depth summary of older directs, because that is not what the fans come for. It also personally just helps me because I get pretty bored watching the developer interviews at other conferences, whereas Nintendo just shows reveal after reveal.
About kirby, alot of those "games" are just basically expansions to mini games that were found inside of the actual game. Think of it as like the captain toad parts in 3D world getting its own game except on a way smaller scale. This kirby will be an full main series game.
Nerdy Gamer THIS. The last few full, mainline Kirby games were in 2016 (Robobot), 2014 (Triple Deluxe), and 2010 (Return to Dreamland), with 2010 being the last time we had a console one.
I love the Kirby games, but I always wait till they drop in price to pick them up, either used or as a Nintendo Selects title, as I don't think they worth full asking price, and but getting a full main series game is awesome.
Arlo, I am extremely indignant that you are not excited for this Kirby game. HOW COULD YOU? But seriously, although I respect your opinion, this is one of the most exciting Kirby games ever. This is mainly because it reuses some ideas from the cancelled Kirby for GameCube, AND you can combine abilities again, AND it is portable, AND Waddle Dees are playable. AND IT'S KIRBY, ARLO! KIRBY!
Same here, but I always wait till Nintendo drops the prices on them as Nintendo Selects, or I come across a used copy at a good price, as I don't think they are games worth full asking price though, for example I only recently picked up Kirby Triple Deluxe for my 2DS because Game Stop had it at $18 brand new for a the Nintendo Selects version, and that feels just right for the amount of game play you get out of it.
As a Kirby fan myself, I can definitely say that Kirby is WAY more than just eating things and taking their powers. It's definitely got a lot of cool stuff in it. I think this new Kirby game definitely has enough new stuff to be considered more just "RTD 4." Tough I would like to see them switch it up a little more soon. I really want to see a fully 3D Kirby platformer.
I really might just try to pick up Kirby again. I never played the 3ds ones (except team Kirby clash deluxe, but that was free-to-play and a spin-off of a minigame) or the wii u one. or return to dream land. most recent Kirby game I played was Kirby and the epic yarn... I also have superstar on my wii u VC.
I walked past four of them at my local WalMart and I live in biggest city in my country. I'm sure Nintendo is preparing to meet demand this holiday season when the full 2017 line-up of games is available.
I've also been told by the Gamestop friend that Switch production has been so slow is because of Apple using the same kind memory as Nintendo. So they're having to share.
Those two Kirby games they announced earlier this year were both eShop-only minigames. The last main series Kirby game was Planet Robobot in 2016, and since Switch Kirby is coming out in 2018, that leaves a two-year gap. It's really not that frequent if you think about it.
literally I was just saying to myself, wow Arlo and Nathaniel bandy sure haven't posted much E3 stuff yet. and then I just get the notification. talk about perfect timing.
Umm correct me if im wrong but i dont recall a console kirby game all decade? Yeah im gonna have to disagree with your thoughts on kirby, we only have two recent mainline series games, the last big multiplayer one being on the wii. I think youve been mistaking these little 3ds ware games as full releases.
A game being really fun doesn't make it a mainline Kirby game. We're talking a platformer where Kirby runs around and sucks up guys and takes their powers.
I think Rocket League on Switch will end up being the definitive version of the game, especially if you play it competitively. You don't need to bring your console or PC rig to play. The only thing you need is your Switch Tablet and something to charge it with. It's great.
as someone who is almost exclusively on PC and up until this past week when I found a Switch, I haven't bought a Nintendo product in 14 years. Nintendo won. Mario looks really good. Ubisoft also had a good showing.
lol I was in history class when the spotlight happened, and I was in the back of the classroom with my phone by my feet so I could sneak the stream while taking notes. when the Metroid prime 4 logo was revealed live, I felt so much pain containing my excitement
personally i love you arlo. you are absolutely one of my favorite content creators on youtube. there is only one thing that i wish there were more of on your channel that being more review videos.
This newer Kirby looks like it's trying to revive the golden days. Cleaning Kirby, Nago, partners, Copy Ability fusion... Even the purple aura around Whispy shows that Dark Matter might return. I've never been happier.
I've stuck with Nintendo through rougher times but I'm glad that their new focuses are blowing everybody away. Feels like even more people are feeling the same about Nintendo as I've felt for decades.
Shin Garugamesh They *revealed* Pokemon, Metroid Prime 4, Mario X Rabbids RPG, Yoshi Wooly World 2, Kirby! That *is* more than one big game and by your logic that means they won!
+Luis Alberto Gálvez Thank. You. I admit I like to participate in "Console Wars", but I liked what Sony and Nintendo showed for their consoles. And I want to try to enjoy the games being showed to me.
I hold E3 2010 in a endearing spot within my heart. Even though the Skyward Sword had demo glitches, the booth right after was universally praised. Also... GoldenEye remake, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Epic Mickey, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Metroid: Other M (before the whole plot debacle) and the first showing of the 3DS, with THE RETURN OF KID ICARUS! And they closed with lots of booth babes carrying 3DSs, as well as Wii systems rising from the floor with Skyward Sword demos ready. Man, I miss the old days...
Yoshi, "fell a little flat" ha, cause it has a paper art-style! It's also ironic since it's like a 2.5D game! But if I'm being serious, I had a very similar reaction to Arlo and I couldn't think of a better game to follow Prime 4 than Yoshi. It was a mild announcement compared to what came before so I had time to recover from that bombshell. And since Yoshi's like Nintendo's calmest series, I felt like Nintendo was telling us to relax and calm down.
In sense, we kind of NEED calmer games like Yoshi at presentations. As cool as it would be to have a presentation where everything single announcement is an exciting bombshell, it would probably end up doing more harm than good since that could end up throwing people's attention all over the place and in the end they probably wouldn't know what was the coolest must have thing is and, in a hypothetical situation, would probably just choose 2 out of the 5 cool things they saw (for the time being at least), even though all of them took a lot of money to work on. Having simpler, likely not as expensive games like Yoshi make us more likely to get the "cooler games" and not have to pick and and choose between all the awesome, high budget stuff we obviously want all of, but can't feasibly always get in every single situation. People only have so much money to work with. So even if there are some announcements that aren't "Metroid Prime 4" or "Super Mario Oddessy" levels of hype, I think they have there place and shouldn't be looked at like they shouldn't exist. Yeah they may be shrugged off, but they should still be around, even if we don't ask for them. RANT OVER.😇👍🏿
NintenXian Thanks.😁 I think I should put this idea into a video. I'm trying to start up my own UA-cam channel and have been scrapping by for a video idea. I feel passionate about this so it's probably a good pick.
Playstation: We got spiderman. Microsoft: New Xbox! Ubisoft: Rabbids. Us: Meh.. Nintendo: 2 Metroids, Console Kirby and Pokemon, DLC, And look! Mario's a Dinosaur! Us: TAKE OUR MONEY!
He had really high expectations for Pokémon. He said he played a lot of the gens so I thought he would keep his expectations in check, but it seems like he expected something really new, which was a little unfair in my opinion.
Honestly, out of the big three, Nintendo impressed me the most. Not only did they show off more of what they had already, but also some nice surprises. And sure, Kirby, Yoshi, and Pokemon aren't coming out until next year, but when you look at this year's line up, they really don't need to. We're literally getting one major game per month. Arms in June, Splatoon 2 in July, Mario+Rabbids in August, Pokken Tournament in September, Mario Odyssey in October, Fire Emblem Warriors in possible November, and Xenoblade in a possible December release date. And on top of that, we've got Metroid Samus Returns and the Breath of the Wild DLC coming this month and in the winter. So yeah, 2017 is packed. Plus, this also gives us more games to look forward to in 2018.
Izzy Harding Well I say too bad, the entire point is an extended look at upcoming games. People rightfully complain that E3 doesn't show ENOUGH gameplay, now suddenly there's a limit?
I love Kirby just as much as everyone else but for those of you Kirby fanatics that are getting angry with Arlo and unsubscribing just because he doesn't enjoy Kirby games are acting really ridiculous. Of course he thinks they make too many Kirby games cause not only does he not prefer them, they do make a lot of Kirby games. It's a big franchise for Nintendo. I don't like Call Of Duty games & I think they make too many of them. Though I'm sure if I did like COD I would probably think they didn't make enough of them. I'm sure there are games out there that some of you probably hate that Arlo really likes. We all have a right to have an opinion on games and we're all going to dislike games that other do like. It doesn't make the game bad, it just means we don't prefer those types of games. No need to unsubscribe to Arlo for disliking Kirby. He never said they were bad games. He just doesn't prefer it. Let him have his opinion. It's you fanatics that are going to taint the Kirby franchise.
Some people are really taking it to the extreme. Gosh forbid I don't like a game someone else likes. Oh no it's the end of the world! I really like Kirby games but I'm not mad that Arlo doesn't like them. Shoot there's tons of game franchises that I don't like that majority of people love. They're just not my type of games. No need for people to hate though.
To be honest I don't really like Kirby games. But I tend to like really obscure games that people make fun of me for liking. I never understood why people would make fun of someone for liking a certain type of game. We all have our own unique tastes and that's what's makes us individuals.
Arlo, the one thing about Kirby games is that a lot of the ones that come out are just spin-off games. This upcoming one for Switch is exciting because it's a main series home console release, which we actually haven't had that many of. Imagine if 50% of the Pikmin series consisted of Hey Pikmin style games, and then seeing Pikmin 4 finally announced for the Switch. You'd be pretty excited!
I love you Arlo but seriously... You are the only 'person' (?) on this planet who thought this E3 was good. You are EXTREMELY positive about everything... And I love it xD
Alright, I'll admit it. I was waffling on whether or not you were worth subscribing to. That final line clinched it for me though. I look forward to more quality content from you.
That spotlight gave me so so SO much hype towards what was to come for Nintendo. So much new, so much satisfaction, so much METROID PRIME 4!!!! Nintendo is in my opinion heading back on track and has crawled out of the pit the Wii U has dug them into unintentionally.
Oh my gosh - I thought the Kirby game was going to be exactly the same as well, so I avoided the trailer, BUT I'M SO GLAD YOU SHOWED THE TRAILER - because this game has my favorite aspects from Kirby 64, a formula they strayed from, and now I know this game will be worth checking out! Ironically, thanks!!
Zackarie Savard Honestly, I feel the same way. Every Kirby just feels exactly the same and I feel like Mario games always vary. In the case of 3D land and 3D world, yeah. I get that. But at least they were on different devices. I mean, try comparing Mario Galaxy to any other Mario. Mario games also have two different lines. The 2D, and the 3D ones. And there are no 3D Kirby's. They just feel like glorified remakes of the last game.
Zackarie Savard I think the issue here is that Arlo is a blue furry creature, therefore he has prejudice against squishy pink puffballs. He doesn't like any competition in the cuteness department. He just says it's "samey" as an excuse.
Zackarie Savard I can agree. Every single Kirby game almost has no difference and at this point it's all pretty boring. At least super Mario odyssey is actually different from literally any one of their Mario games
Man I respect you Arlo but you couldn't be more wrong when it comes to Kirby. I have played varied and different Kirby games then I've played from any other franchise. Hell I've played more unique and genre bending Kirby games than any games I've ever played. Just like his motif of constant transformation all his games are the same way, and that's why I love them. He has just about everything in his repertoire Fighting game (Kirby Fighters), Side Scrolling RTS (Mass Attack), Indirect Control of Movement game (Canvas Curse), Anthology game spanning multiple genres (Kirby Superstar), Pinball game (Kirby's pinball), Puzzle game (Kirby's Avalanche), Racing game (Kirby's Air Ride), and even a golf game (Kirby's Dream Course) to name a few. See what I mean, that's why it's always nice to see a new one because you never quite know what to expect. However one thing that you can count on is the music, and god is it good. Like I said I don't take any offense, I just get a little annoyed when folks just assume it's just another cute game for kids that is the same as the last one. Thank you for the wonderful video and even if it doesn't seem like it, I DO respect your opinion. I just wanted to inform you as a courtesy, take care and stay awesome.
Wii U didn't have a Kirby platformer... Didn't have a platformer for GCN either. Meaning, the franchise has skipped console generations twice now... hmm, let's just get some perspective here, what other franchise has skipped two console generations before? Oh, Metroid!! Wow, we get so many Metroid games, don't we! So many spinoffs, pinballs and co-op adventures, portables games and so much more! And what's that, two games on GCN and two on Wii? Wow!! If only Kirby got as many games as Metroid!! C'mon, Arlo, be a bit fair next time.
Wii-U never had a Kirby platformer? Um... Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. And for the Wii: Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby's Epic Yarn.... Just sayin
visualcreativemt , Rainbow Curse isn't a platformer and Wii isn't Wii U... And Return to Dreamland was the first real console platformer since Kirby 64, and this new Switch Kirby games will be the first since Return to Dreamland. Epic Yarn was just another spin-off, played nothing like a Kirby game, I guess you could call it the Other M of the franchise. Arlo is wrong, we do not get "SO MANY OF THEM", and each one does something pretty unique too. If he wanted to say they just aren't his kind of games, he should've just said that, instead of spouting a bunch of BS.
Juliusaurus: When you said the Metroid Other M metaphor, I'm like... okay I see what he's saying now. Since you put it that way, yeah you're definitely right about that.
I love your commentary Arlo, and I can understand that it may feel like we're getting a ton of Kirby games lately, but most of them have been spinoff mini games revamped into whole releases. This Kirby game is also one of the three that was announced in the last direct, it's not an entirely new reveal like you made it out to be in this video. By the time this Switch one comes out, Planet Robobot, the last core Kirby game, will be 2 years old. And also, it's not like Kirby games' development affect the development of other franchises, they're developed by teams at HAL, who mostly only make Kirby games these days.
About the whole Kirby segment. I'm fine that you aren't a Kirby fan, not everybody has to be, but your excuses for disliking the franchise are either overblown or are pretty contradictory in my opinion. First off, there's the "Kirby has too many games" thing. I don't see where you're going with that, I mean, sure, as of now we have a whopping 3 new Kirby games upcoming (and how about the fact we have 3 new Mario games upcoming as well, perhaps maybe over 3), but what would you expect from Kirby's 25th Anniversary? Even worse is that they said it's gonna be "Kirby's Big Year" and yet he only made an appearance at E3 once in the Nintendo Spotlight, so I really don't see where you're going with the "too many Kirby games" thing. Second is the "they're the same thing every time" excuse. All I wanted to say throughout the entire segment was "says the guy who wants Paper Mario to be the exact same TTYD carbon copy game every time". You've said in your Paper Mario rants "if you really understood how much we love Paper Mario, you would've never removed the refined addictive turn-based combat and replaced it with sub-standard 2D platforming and a 2D-3D mechanic that never lives up" basically saying that Super Paper Mario wasn't as good because it wasn't the same thing as Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and opted not to reuse the same mechanics and core gameplay elements in the same way you're underrating the Kirby series for doing, instead experimenting with new ways to handle the franchise. You also went on to talk about Zelda in saying that changing Zelda's mechanics would be disrespectful as well, furthering this. The entire video was you pleading Intelligent Systems to improve upon the same thing every time and give them what the fans are clamouring for (a completely samey sequel of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door). You've been saying basically not to fix what the fans don't consider broken and that's what HAL Laboratory Inc. has been doing, they've kept in touch with their fans knowing they want an experience that expands upon the game series' main core mechanics and adds it's own little touches to it. Now, seeing the return of Dark Matter in Kirby: Planet Robobot as well as the return of Cleaning, Nago's cameo, and even the Mix Abilities in the E3 trailer you reacted to, it can be seen that they're going even farther into the fanbase than they ever have been as of recent, answering the pleas of the Dark Matter Saga fans who want the more (kinda) story driven style with the various friendship symbolization and the overall charm that those games had. You're basically saying that Paper Mario must be the same thing as Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door every time just like the fans want, yet Kirby (as well as Yoshi) must release it's ultimate Sticker Star killscreen and lose all contact with what the fans of the series enjoy.
except that TTYD released 2004 and we haven't gotten a game in that style since then whereas in that time period 100 Kirby sidescrollers have been released. If things were the other way around nobody would be clamoring for a TTYD styled Paper Mario
+Burrows365 I know. I would like to see a Paper Mario RPG as well. I was just commenting on how contradictory his statement was with him basically saying not to fix what isn't broken and that's what the Kirby series has been doing. Not to mention the only Kirby games that have been samey are the traditional main series ones with lots of completely different spinoffs (Kirby: Canvas Curse, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Kirby: Mass Attack, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Kirby's Blowout Blast) in between. I would love to see Paper Mario get the samey treatment with spinoffs in between because it means that they're still keeping true to the series while still experimenting every now and then. That's a formula that I personally like. What his "samey" reason was basically saying is that to fix Kirby from being "New Super Mario Bros." you have to completely abandon what makes the Kirby series the Kirby series altogether instead of doing what it is already (which is releasing various different spinoffs in between).
Idk bout you Arlo, but I love almost all the Kirby games. Something about playing fun platforming games that start off all cute and colorful yet end up being 100% dark and terrifying just seems to appeal to me. 🤣

This is the first Kirby main series console game in 6 years, the last one before that came out 11 years before that...

They stopped doing traditional press conferences in 2012, long before Iwata became ill.
"Then I saw a four, then I died." "Can I have an audio clip? AAHH AAAHH AHH" This is why Arlo is one of the best youtubers.

UA-camr is a fine term

I was going to leave this exact reply, but decided to check first.
Charlie Frecka I think Arlo was (and still is) drunk on Prime 4 hype.
KIRBY!

Epic Yarn was decent. It wasn't really that good. It was decent.
Epic Yarn, IMO, is an entirely different game from the rest of the Kirby games. This isn't an inherently bad thing. In fact, Epic Yarn is an amazing game. But, if you want a game that will truly give the Kirby feel to you, I think either Robobot or Return to Dreamland is the way to go.

Ive never played a metroid game, and ive never seen gameplay of any metroid prime games, but Arlo makes me want to preorder it immediately.

Did nobody notice that Kirby was combining powers? I mean.. That's a HUGE deal to me, I LOVED doing that in Crystal Stars! Doesn't anybody else?
literally I was just saying to myself, wow Arlo and Nathaniel bandy sure haven't posted much E3 stuff yet. and then I just get the notification. talk about perfect timing.
Your Awesome Arlo But:
Says Kirby Just seems the same over and over.
Praises Pikmin
InsertCreativityHere * Praises Pokémon*
But pikmin only had 4 games in its entire life
Arlo, we haven't gotten a home core Kirby game since 2011 for the Wii...
Hands down best audio clip ever
Umm correct me if im wrong but i dont recall a console kirby game all decade?
Yeah im gonna have to disagree with your thoughts on kirby, we only have two recent mainline series games, the last big multiplayer one being on the wii. I think youve been mistaking these little 3ds ware games as full releases.
Salmence100 we had Kirby & the Rainbow Curse on WiiU. I classify it as a main Kirby title. It was a really fun game.
I'd consider a main kirby title as some thing that plays like a kirby game. Rainbow Curse didn't even have copy abilities like Canvas Curse had
"really fun" and "main title" are not the at all the same thing. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is "really fun" but it is also NOT a "main Pokemon title."
Salm
A game being really fun doesn't make it a mainline Kirby game. We're talking a platformer where Kirby runs around and sucks up guys and takes their powers.
The first few frames of your intro look so f-ing terrifying :D
it was disappointing, I mean where was solid snake?
Alex Diaz he's from komami
learn boiiiiiiiiiiii
J-Jimmy so how's it going with you and timmy
J-Jimmy nice
Pshyco Mantis???
Alex Diaz He waited for 2018.
I think Rocket League on Switch will end up being the definitive version of the game, especially if you play it competitively. You don't need to bring your console or PC rig to play. The only thing you need is your Switch Tablet and something to charge it with.
It's great.
Geeky Steven while I don't think it will .I agree and can definitely see it happening
Lol watching this 4 years later, and prime 4 is still not out yet
as someone who is almost exclusively on PC and up until this past week when I found a Switch, I haven't bought a Nintendo product in 14 years. Nintendo won. Mario looks really good. Ubisoft also had a good showing.
DogsBark true pc and Nintendo is best
Kirby 2018 had features from its older titles~ I'm quite hyped for it.
lol I was in history class when the spotlight happened, and I was in the back of the classroom with my phone by my feet so I could sneak the stream while taking notes. when the Metroid prime 4 logo was revealed live, I felt so much pain containing my excitement
METROID PRIME 4 AHHH... (calming music plays)
personally i love you arlo. you are absolutely one of my favorite content creators on youtube. there is only one thing that i wish there were more of on your channel that being more review videos.
My wishlist for Switch:
-Metroid Prime 1
-Metroid Prime 2
-Metroid Prime 3
This newer Kirby looks like it's trying to revive the golden days. Cleaning Kirby, Nago, partners, Copy Ability fusion... Even the purple aura around Whispy shows that Dark Matter might return. I've never been happier.
YOURE ALIVE! I heard the thud in the reaction so good thing youre back lolol
Pikmin 4 is in development, Miyamoto told IGN about it, I tried tweeting you this.
Yea, but solid snake
Dude! I said no spoilers!
Jotsarup Narula I love this meme so much
Jotsarup Narula follow ig @salad.snake

Yeah but Liquid Lizard
I loved E3 but I hated the chat on the E3 stream
Joshua Nolasco #Vladiators MY BED IS COLD.
Joshua Nolasco #Vladiators the chat was suuuper cancerous

I JUST COME OUT THE SHOWER
Yoshi was such an "eh" announcement. Really wish it had been another DKC game.
Torrie Garvin probably next E3
It is so nice to finally see someone who is happy and glad about E3!
Arlo has the best endings on UA-cam.
I've stuck with Nintendo through rougher times but I'm glad that their new focuses are blowing everybody away. Feels like even more people are feeling the same about Nintendo as I've felt for decades.
Super Mario Oddesey Was The Most Beautiful Thing I've ever saw that day
"We might just be playing the most amazing Pokemon game ever that people ever dreamed off" lol
Nintendo won
Shin Garugamesh More than 1 big game?
Shin Garugamesh They *revealed* Pokemon, Metroid Prime 4, Mario X Rabbids RPG, Yoshi Wooly World 2, Kirby! That *is* more than one big game and by your logic that means they won!
You clearly didn't see metroid prime four, xenoblade 2, Mario Odyssey, more than one big game.
the last of the shpee's we all won to be honest not this or that company, we all got a peak at amazing games we will be playing later in all platforms
Other m sucks even without the story
12:21 "It was the closest to Paper Mario frankly". Get it? Because Professor Frankly?........
I'll just walk away now.
SuperLuigi22 You just made my day thank you my good sir.
Me: Wallet! What are you doing?!
Wallet: I've found someone else!
Me: Who..?
Wallet: Nintendo. See ya, loser!
breakups be like
Yoshi, "fell a little flat" ha, cause it has a paper art-style!
RANT OVER.😇👍🏿
PopstarChamp Champion of Popstar Nicely put! 😄
NintenXian Thanks.😁 I think I should put this idea into a video. I'm trying to start up my own UA-cam channel and have been scrapping by for a video idea. I feel passionate about this so it's probably a good pick.
I know you compliment us every video, Arlo, but gosh darn it never gets old
Playstation: We got spiderman.
Microsoft: New Xbox!
Ubisoft: Rabbids.
Us: Meh..
Nintendo: 2 Metroids, Console Kirby and Pokemon, DLC,
And look! Mario's a Dinosaur!
Us: TAKE OUR MONEY!
Specter the Spectator for me it was that but replace spooderman with MH WORLD dear Lord I'm hyped for it
I checked your channel every minute during and before E3 man I just love this channel so much..
...I don't think I like your tone when it comes to Kirby 😐 but I understand lol
Myles George Kirby doesn't peak my interest but if you do like it thats fine.
Says Kirby is just the same game over and over.
Gets excited about the mention of a new Pokemon game.
He had really high expectations for Pokémon. He said he played a lot of the gens so I thought he would keep his expectations in check, but it seems like he expected something really new, which was a little unfair in my opinion.
4:39 yeah...that Pokemon bit did NOT age well...
I just finished watching your playthrough of Pikmin. Nice to know the stream of Arlo content never has to end.
He's keeping it!
EPM 101 Keeping what?
Shnoobu the intro
Rachel Bologna Nope! I won't even consider it!
AshXXMayftw Samus Returns is in September. Also, you forgot Ultra Sun/Moon
"Actually it was the worse E3 ever because there was no smash bros!" -smash fans
Imposter Ditto that's a good reason if you only play smash!
Mason if you ONLY play smash then you really need to start playing some new games, dude.
Imposter Ditto why? Smash is such a Unique game that it might be hard to find a game that fits me like that. Respect other people preferences
I'm both a Smash fan and a Metroid fan, but I think Metroid fans more than deserved the spotlight this time
Why does everyone want Smash so badly? To be honest, I'm not a huge Smash fan.
That audio clip reaction to Metroid prime was golden, sounded like a chimp in heat.
Definitely best E3 since 2014, probably better just because of Mario Odyssey.
You know a video is good if I watch it on fullscreen. And this was one of them.
they showed WAAYY too much footage of Fire Emblem Warriors during the Treehouse
Izzy Harding Too much footage is a complaint I do not get for E3.
UltimaKeyMaster you should have seen the chat. it was all "NEXT GAME!"
Izzy Harding Well I say too bad, the entire point is an extended look at upcoming games. People rightfully complain that E3 doesn't show ENOUGH gameplay, now suddenly there's a limit?
Your joy is such a delight to see! Thank you for sharing!
I keep replaying the ending over and over again, and I still laugh every time I do...
You obviously don't know the difference between a mainline series Kirby and a spinoff Kirby.
The Chozo Ruins theme is so underrated! I love you Arlo!
Arlo are you related to the Cookie Monster
He is the Cookie Monster after he slimed down
Shrekiskewl Revenge No. Alros are their own separate magical species that were created by Nintendo wizards.
Josh Hoover
No, cookie monster likes cookies exclusively.
Arlo prefers brownies and subs. Know the difference.
hey that's racist
HellRay thank you for the information
I'm liking this trend of Arlo flipping out about a big E3 announcement in the closing seconds of the video.
my best E3
Arlo, the one thing about Kirby games is that a lot of the ones that come out are just spin-off games. This upcoming one for Switch is exciting because it's a main series home console release, which we actually haven't had that many of. Imagine if 50% of the Pikmin series consisted of Hey Pikmin style games, and then seeing Pikmin 4 finally announced for the Switch. You'd be pretty excited!
I fucking love Kirby. That man will mess you up if you talk shit about my pink puffball daddy again
I love you Arlo but seriously...
You are the only 'person' (?) on this planet who thought this E3 was good. You are EXTREMELY positive about everything...
And I love it xD
i want someone to just loop the ending.....!
Arlo, your channel is awesome man. Im so happy i stumbled across you, it makes youtube feel so fresh. Hope you soar and keep doing what you love!
I liked the vid, but I am PISSED at what you said about Kirby '18.
Alright, I'll admit it. I was waffling on whether or not you were worth subscribing to. That final line clinched it for me though.
I look forward to more quality content from you.
I sensed your video was nigh
That spotlight gave me so so SO much hype towards what was to come for Nintendo. So much new, so much satisfaction, so much METROID PRIME 4!!!! Nintendo is in my opinion heading back on track and has crawled out of the pit the Wii U has dug them into unintentionally.
Give Kirby a chance!
Hey Arlo! I heard Ms. Piggy's single. Wink wink
Dude i popped off so hard when i saw the pokken trailer just before e3 i nearly cried honestly this has been a great year for Nintendo
Arlo loves Mario. But doesnt like Kirby because they are samey..? Euh...
Land Squid 1234 Um... the New Super Mario Bros games? The Mario Party games? The Mario Kart games? Those tend to be as samey as it gets.
try to defend the new super mario bros series. Or Galaxy 2. I dare you.
15:11
For your use
Arlo's smile is one I want to protect more than any other.
13:41 - 13:45 What E3 Is 4. Get It?
I'm not that big into Metriod but when I saw the Prime 4 trailer, I said: "People are gonna be happy"
I know who won the E3...
it was me
EA
Violence
Because Violence is always the answer
Bethesda
PC?
I don't know why, but I could listen to Arlo talk for hours.
Kirby & the rainbow curse is definitely a platformer. How else would you describe it?
Drewsefer89 an experimental spin-off, the Kirby series has a few of those.
