I want to thank you for having the generosity and confidence to share your process with us, without asking us to follow a link to a $300 course, or leaving out the important details that you have figured out over time. Thanks so much!
@@k8marlowe thank you! I appreciate that 🩵 I get so much joy from making art, and I’ve just been so pleased that I can share what I’ve learned and that people are interested. I had many moments of complete frustration trying to figure it out, and had a hard time finding information on this type of process - so it feels really good to be able to pass along the information to those who are interested in trying it!
Wow! I love these results. Can’t wait to try this with what I have. Just need the mineral paper.. . I want to see what gold watercolor or ink does, granulating colors….the possibilities are endless. Thank you! New subscriber.
Thank you so much for sharing the process! I’ve been watching your IG posts. The artwork is so beautiful! I also love the thought of letting go any expectations of the end result and just see what happens. Thanks again!😍👏👏👏
You talk! Yes! So many make videos with music or type on the screen. I have eye fatigue and can’t stare at any screen for too long. I usually listen and look up here and there to keep up visually. I like to listen while making my own art so thank you for talking! Every artist has days where things don’t turn out. It’s okay, it’s okay to show it as well. You could always talk about why you think it didn’t turn out as you would have liked. Either way it just makes you look like a real person without the fake perception that everything is perfect all the time. It helps beginners with their self confidence to let them know everybody has those days and it’s a learning process no matter how experienced one is.
One other comment, the beauty of this particular demo is that neither I or any other person following those directions will turn out identical pieces of work, so thank you for a clever idea and demonstration.
Dear Kendra- I'm so happy I found you! I saw someone else on Facebook doing this in one of my groups, and when I searched UA-cam for how to do it, you were one of the first to pop up. This tutorial is incredibly helpful, and your piece turned out beautifully. You’re so right about music being an inspiration! I’ve been listening to The Best of Puccini, which isn’t my usual go-to music, but it works so well in the creative headspace. Thank you.
WOW! Kendra! This artwork of yours is amazing! I can't believe this is your first UA-cam video. It was so inspiring to watch you create and explain your process so clearly. This video is wonderful! I loved it! Thank you so much for sharing!
I've been fascinated with your art on IG for weeks now. Thank you so much for this tutorial, I'm so excited to finally know how you do it. I'm retired and am constantly looking for a fun hobby to occupy my time, and that I can do with my paints and inks. I think I'll give this a try ❤. Thanks again😊
Thankyou so much for your time and talent in this video. So much excellent information and your voice is very soothing which goes perfectly with the tranquil flowing/mingling of the inks. I LOVE it. I have been trying to source the materials, which isn’t always easy here in NZ but I think I have found enough to get me started 🤗
I have searched and searched and searched for a unique and not cookie cutter style of art to inspire me. Thank you. And I appreciate some of the things you said about how creating art and letting it become its own creation is really therapeutic. Even in my 40’s, I’ve struggled to find a creative outlet and I picked up watercolors and quickly fell in love with creating art. I’ve only been dabbling with them for a few weeks but your style is so on point with what I’ve been searching for. Thank you for explaining the technique and listing the products. Looking forward to seeing more videos!! ❤
That was absolutely fascinating, I have been longing to try abstract watercolours but lack the confidence, now I think I should try your techniques. I do have some acrylic paints and lots of watercolours so, apart from some paper, I am all set to go. Thank you so much for sharing with us and passing on your knowledge and please keep up the video's, I will certainly be looking out for more. Best wishes, Diane UK
