In this video we are on a journey, having fun with the Sony a7IV, the Sony Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 lens and the Lightpix Labs, FlashQ - Q20II speed light, doing street photography and capturing street portraits, POV style in Chinatown Melbourne & the Melbourne CBD!
Hey, it's 2024-if you ain't using off camera flash in your photography yet...be it for street photography, event photography or whatever Photography you enjoy doing, don't worry I've got you covered! 😙Start with my method of "off camera flash, " it's simple non-invasive and best of all, it's easy to learn! I'm not stating I know it all (I wish!) but I have learnt enough to easily see the benefits of knowing "how to use off camera flash" and I can tell you, if you try off flash photography, I bet you will be hooked on flash...just like me!👍

G’day Alex, congratulations acquiring your new gear you are going to have a lot of fun once you sort out the coupling for the flash to the GoPro bracket and get finally do some Off Camera flash Photography - for sure! 😎 I’ll include a segment in my next video upload showing my coupling. In the meantime if you want to do your own search type in to Google :-
“Adapter 1/4”’ screw to GoPro - two prong coupling” it should cost approximately between $5 -$10.

What mount do you use on your flash!!! Amazing 🎉
G’day, thanks for watching😎 I’m a strong advocate of the GoPro magnetic mount. However you will need to buy a little intermediary accessory it’s a “quarter inch to GoPro” mount for it all come together for you. Meaning the FlashQ and the GoPro magnetic mount. ✌️

Great video! Just wondering were you using auto or manual focus?
Hey, thanks for watching and for your great question. 😎 I used a combination of both though I mostly used auto focus. I‘ve found the Sony cameras have extremely accurate auto focusing nowadays and I rely it too. 😙 however, I did switch over to manual focusing/zone focusing when I was in front of the Heritage building, that was built in 1892.

@@_jbflickz g’day mate 😎 it’s the LightPix Labs FlashQ Q20II. I discovered this flash through the real, Sir Robin. He uses it all the time.
I like this little flash, mainly because it is lightweight and easy to mount onto my most favourite accessory being the GoPro magnetic mount, coupled together they have completely elevated my Photography in the street. I highly recommend giving it a go. Thanks for your question 👍
