I can not get this mic to work with my phone. I got an adapter to use it for my i phone and the thing I plug into my phone is not turning on it does not light up blue and idk why

Although you get two microphones with this set, they both record with equal volume to both channels, i.e. there is no stereo seperation and you end up with dual mono audio with the input of both mikes mixed together. That dimishes it's value drastically for interview settings or for anyone looking for decent stereo input.

I can hear a metallic voice with the noise reduction on. But very clear a nice sound without noise reduction.

I've just bought this and unfortunately I can't get any audio when recording video.
Even after playing with my phone/audio settings, it only records the audio when using the voice recorder 😭 I have tried it using my Google Pixel 7Pro and RealMe 6.
If you have any suggestions as to what I can do to resolve it, I'd be so grateful!
PS. I give the sound quality a 9. That's really terrific for the price!

With most phones it'll work with the inbuilt camera. If it doesn't work with yours you might need to install open camera

Quick question.. when you recharge the receiver you attach to your phone, does the light lit up? Because I just bought it but it doesn’t lit up with I charge it (it does lit up when i attach it to the phone). So I don’t know if it’s defect or not.

Hello. The transmitter has run out of charge and I do not know how to charge it. When I connect it to the charger, the lamp does not light. As for the microphone, it charges normally and the lamp lights. Or it must be inserted into the phone and then I connect it to the charger. Please answer me.
The transmitter does not need to be charged!

Compared to the great quality that Boya is known for, I dont think they truly passed the test for this mic. I will give it a 5/10.....
Remember it's a budget wireless mic. Wired mic will always sound better!

this setup comes with two microphones; the most important question was not addressed. Does this device record in stereo?
Yes it does
This video only shows mono recording. Some people say this device only records in mono similar to the 2023 Saramonic microphones kit. Please show two separate channels being recorded simultaneously to demonstrate stereo recording and which applications will support the audio input. Thank you.

i’m not asking about the audio track of this review video. i am extremely interested to learn if the device being reviewed records in stereo onto the phone. Stereo means two separate tracks. There is a significant reason for this question, and that reason is that many of these dual microphone devices only record in mono but some do record in stereo but are very expensive because that feature is highly prized. Stereo recording is when each audio track(one from each microphone) is discretely recorded to be edited or filtered by itself without affecting the other audio track. Even some of the $100+ kits only record in mono yet some $75 devices record in stereo. These modern iPhone dongle transceivers are getting much better and less expensive, so some of us will want to equip our teams with four or five of these kits to record interviews and then edit them for inclusion into documentaries etc.. Showing this device actually recording two separate tracks would show it recording in stereo.
