! Important note !
In this video I mention a dozen times that it is a wireless BLUETOOTH microphone. This microphone in fact does not use Bluetooth. It's a wireless signal between receiver and the microphones, no bluetooth is involved! Thanks to @rok9587 for pointing this out!
Now this man knows how to make an informative video. Just enough and no more. You are a credit to the Internet Sir.
Thanks for sharing your hard work. I am awaiting delivery of one today as I write this.
Kindest regards from the UK. 🖖
Thank you very much! Trying to keep them as short as possible. I'm sure youll love the microphones once you have them :)
Such an excellent video! Thanks !
Thank you very much for your comment, you're welcome! :)
Thank you, purchasing it right now!
You're welcome! Best of fun with it :)
Thank you for the great succinct video review 🙂
You're very welcome! ;)
Ty, you’re doing really great, mate
Thank you very much! I appreciate that! :)
Just bought one. Out of the budget wireless mics, Boya are the best. Thanks
Couldnt agree more! You're welcome!
Very VERY good and informative video, thank you very much 👍
Thank you! You're welcome! :)
Thank you this was super informative. I am going to buy one for my VR setup since I keep breaking cabled mics. Its good to see an option under $100 and after using a Boya Cabled mic, I know its gonna sound good.
You're welcome. Being careful of cables can indeed be a challenge. I think these mics sound really great! :)
Thank you ! I was looking for a budget microphone and you just confirm that BOYA is the the one i need.
You're welcome! Glad I could help you make the decision! :)
Thanks for a very informative video Stevo
You're welcome! :)
Thank you! I will buy it now and start my vlogging career soon. 🥰🥳
You're welcome! Have fun with it! :)
Nice video 👍👍
nice review :)
Thank you! :)
Спасибо bro, отличный обзор, буду брать ❤
You're welcome brotha :)
thank you for the great review ! can this one be used in Fujifilm cameras ? they also have USB C port, also action cameras like dji action ? thanks
love the video bro🙂
Thank you! I appreciate that! :)
Nice video. I have these and they are awesome. Especially for the price and the ease of use. They work flawlessly on my Sam. phone and my laptop with the USB-C.
I think they are technically RF though, not Bluetooth. I was reading some specs and it seem RF is actually better than Bluetooth. Polling rate and some other gibberish. I noticed they even work good around corners and in other rooms of my house (not the same room as receiver). I think that is another advantage of RF and the 2.4 GHz operation.
Sorry to be picky/annoying. :)
Thank you. I also think they are really easy to use and setup. The connection is fast and stable. I don't know how the connection works. All that's important to me is that it works as intended. Thank you for your comment and thoughts you shared! :)
Good quality video. Deserve a comment to say “thank you” 😉
Thank you! I appreciate that! :)
youre weird?
great review, I have a couple of questions
1. Does it work with cameras that have the USB-C port like your Sony ZV-E10?
2. Does the receiver have a battery?
thanks
Thank you very much! 1: I wish it did, but unfortunately no
2: also no, it uses power from your phone. Hope this helps! :)
Boya V20 mic - how seamless is using this with your laptop (for Audacity recordings, Zoom calls, etc)?
Hello thank you for the tuto,
I have an iphone 12.
Should I choose a usb c or lightning model?
Hello! You're welcome! For iPhone you need to choose the lightning variant.
Ok thanks so the by v2 version ?
@@guideyourtrip v2 means that you get 2 microphones, v1 is 1 microphone. If the product you selected shows the lightning cable port you're good to go :)
Mine has the problem - no playback while Receiver connected @ USB on my Android device. So I have to unplug it after recording each time((
Unfortunately that's how it is. But for the audio quality and the price it is worth it :)
Im get this microphone today
Have fun with it! It's a really good microphone for the price!
Hello brother, I bought one like the BOYA microphone that you reviewed on your channel. But when we connect the charging port to the receiver that is installed on the phone, no light appears indicating the charging process
Is it supposed to give off a light or not? Please answer. As for the microphone, it charges normally and the red light turns on
I don't fully understand your question. You mean you can't charge your phone while having the receiver plugged in your phone to use the microphones? If you connect a charger to the receiver when plugged in the phone your phone should just charge :)
Is this just plug in and its good to use? I just purchased mine and the microphone doesn't seem to be picking up my voice and still using the camera microphone... what am I doing wrong?
Hi, if you connect the receiver to your smartphone a light should start blinking. If you turn on the microphone and it's connected with the receiver, both the receiver and the microphone should show a constant blue light. That way you know they are connected to your smartphone.
If that doesn't work it could also mean your phone is too old. This microphone setup works on my Galaxy S10+ but not on my Galaxy S8.
Is the second microphone a replacement in case one breaks or you use the 2 of them at the same time?
no, my guess is it's for interviewing someone but when I purchased this set on Amazon the price difference between 1 mic and 2 mics was so minimal it didn't make sense to buy 1 mic option.
You can see it as replacement but you can also use the 2 microphones at the same time in for example an interview setting. :)
Can I use this mic on my Smartphone for phone call? I need to talk to my callers when I am far from the Smartphone.
I don't think that will work. They could work as a microphone but how will you hear the caller if you are far away from your smartphone?
Hey, is it working with samsung galaxy s23?
If it has an USB C port it should work
@@stevomovement so did it work?
Its compatible for samsung s21 fe?
An USB C charging port is all you need to connect the microphone
Does it work with laptops with usb c?
yes
How to use with camera?
You can't directly plug it into your camera to record your audio. You have to record audio seperatly with your phone and sync it in your video editor in post.
@@stevomovement thanks a lot
so far the quality is very poor. I wish it was like un your video . I have new phone pixel 7 pro . I wish I could do something to improve it . thank you
The quality you hear in this video is the quality it is right when it came out of the box. Maybe you could try to charge them fully or try both with noise reduction and without. Hope this helps.
same here, I tried it with iphone15 and the sound is very flat and basic + a lot of hissing (
100hz high pass and a bump between 1-5k and it'll be even better
One two free one two free
:D
noise reduction is awful.
Agreed. I also tend to avoid using it.
Why are you saying it's Bluetooth? It's not! What kind of reviewer are you that you can't even get the core facts right!?
Damn, you are right! Can't believe this never struck me. I'll update the info in this video. Thank you for letting me know! :)
Does it works with the insta 360 one RS like the ulanzi j12?
I'm sorry, I dont't have experience with the Insta 360
