Great reminder even after the 50 years of trying to play this game, like the company and the exercise along the way.£'s Martina.Like the grip lesson and tried allsorts with limited success,I must concentrate more with the detail needed for this sport.
Marina, why I like your videos is that you demonstrate a move/position and then also mention the typical wrong move/position. This is an excellent way of coaching. I've always thought that you should swing the wrong move and then immediately swing the right move so that you know and can recognise the difference. This will assist you to fix your swing for the next shot on the course. Please continue your coaching like this. It is so helpful and can also help differentiate you from a lot of other youtube coaches. I look forward to your next videos.
As long the ball sits on the ground, there will be a rule of ball-first then ground. But the further the ball moves to the left, the less down movement you are going to have - a shallower angle of attack. And you have to let that happen. There are no divots with those clubs anymore. You could imagine it like the little brother of the Driver - just before the turning point of moving up towards the ball. The rule of the lowest point. So pay attention to your ball position. The regular low point sits along down to your left shoulder joint. Hope that helps a bit?!?!
Martina thanks for your reply. I lived in heidelberg long ago. and learned German. but I forgot it now. a beautiful city. I now live in Morocco and play golf at Dar es Salaam. if you visit I would like to take you on the course and take a lesson. i took up. golf late and I am sure I would learn a lot. thanks for all.
4:08 "You're on the right foot and you're way ahead and all of a sudden you're hooking the ball" Why would you hook? Interesting. Maybe you have a video on this? Really like your coaching method.
Martina, the divot is supposed to be in Front of the ball. not behind. a matter of semantics? hhh Front is forward towards the target. is it not? Enjoy your lessons.
Hi Rich, well first of all I also said: "after" the ball. Please listen closely. And yes, I am native German . So if you guys switch things around then we do, I am not aware of it. But I guess that every Golfer knows EXACTLY what I wanna say or mean by all I am saying here. Don´t you? Not sure if this comment was needed but I'm glad you got it off your chest!

Thanks Martina, that driver tip was good to know. I usually have trouble hooking my drives. Playing tomorrow so I will try and copy your driver swing.

There will be so many videos coming... But in my case, its always been my hands...
How far do you normally hit your driver?
I count on 200-205 meters to carry, which is a bit more than 225 yards. A fine distance for a smurf ;)
