perfect eri seoi nage. Thanks for teaching!!
Keep up the good work. I really like your videos, they help a lot
This is great caught 2 people within a couple seconds of randori tonight with this thanks Matt these are money
You have to 'dip' your shoulder under your opponents wrist. to do this you lift your opponents right wrist with your left hand while dipping your left shoulder downwards creating space for you to turn.
It is very very subtle - i should do a video on it actually because not many coaches teach it
Please do!
Hello Mr. D'Aquino,
I just finished reading Judo: Hard Fought Lessons by an Olympic Judoka. One of the best books on judo and encouragement I've read. I recommend it.
If you ever get around the Detroit area I hope to meet you. Thanks for the book.
Hi Harry, thanks for your comments mate I really appreciate it. I am glad you liked my book. I loved writing it and hopefully it inspires and helps some youngsters chase their dreams
men great video...i have been working on my eri for about a month now...i´ve just started judo, and your videos have been very helpful specially this one...kudos from venezuela my friend
I love how you picked a larger partner as I’m having trouble with open weight
Great explanation. Cheers
Epic stuff. I wish my jiujitsu partners would do judo since we have up to 50 students in classes but only end up with 6 in judo afterwards. Just fear I suppose.
great job mate - keep it up!
Great Techniques ! you can tell this instructor is a real true experienced judo fighter!
Thanks
This is relevant to my interests
Thanks mate
ive been praciticing eri seoi nage for awhile now, but im having problems with opponent's left arm posting on my left shoulder stopping me from getting a full twist for the throw, any advice?
Eri Seoi Nage makes a good ippon
Can you do a video on that then please?
Wielkie rzeczy
cool idea... but because of the (imo terrible..) rules, would one be better off with morote seoi? this way you can wait and bait... and not hope he puts his arm out.. you can keep working.. would it work with morote? i mean theyre practically the same..
It's more easy that Ippon Seoi Nage, in my opinion.
Is harder to use eri seoi nage today :(
Well actually u already taught it on the video, it lies in the Kuzushi step
Making a cross grip in a randori will result in your opponent throwing you down with a Morote Gari...
There wasn't any judo in the Edo period just jujutsu
stibky
Those techniques belong to jujitsu judo just narrowed them
Those technique belongs to jujutsu judo just barrowed them
more throwing less talking
