For some reason this episode touched my heart. I am 80 years old and beyond a priestly vocation. However, I am a daily altar server on weekdays and a reader and EM. My wife died in 2020 after 57 years of marriage. I am happily serving until I can’t due to my health. I thank God for this situation. Jesus I trust in you.

Actually you have to have consecrated hands (for example a priest) in order to touch the Eucharist. This is shown in the Bible when St Mary Magdalene tired to touch Jesus by the tomb, He told her not to touch Him. However, when He appeared to Thomas He told him to touch Him.
Don Bosco ruled his boys with the Love of the Sacred Heart! God the Holy Ghost guided, inspired and strengthened him so he became an instrument and an apostle. We need in these latter days just such men of integrity. My husband is such one of these men. We have raised 9 sons and 4 daughters in the Traditional Catholic Church. Long live Christ our King and Mary Our Queen! 🙏📿

Hello Matthew. One of those boys to whom Saint John Bosco talked to would become the bischop and founder of our Diocese in Petrolina, state of Pernambuco, Brazil. He built our gothic cathedral which was finished in 1929.
