I began my Christian life about 24 years ago. I started in a formal protestant evangelical church. I ended up in a fellowship where the gifts of the Spirit are being exercised and holiness. I was totally indoctrinated against any form of Catholics or Orthodox. The last few months I began to listen to the early Church fathers and their teachings and must repent from every idle word I spoke against this group. The immense teachings and Biblical references are tremendous. Please forgive me my Lord Jesus against my multiplied transgressions either by word, thought or action against the Catholic faith. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Well this was unbelievably timely! Let's put some recent newsmakers into the Light and see what we see.... ! Is the 'revelation' authentic? Is the prophet a wolf or a sheep? In the din of the world we are blind.... Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me! Lord, that I may see!
Jesus is always the Head of the Catholic Church, don’t live with despair, rejoice for His love for those who persevere, is everlasting bliss. God bless 🙏🏻
Today is Via Crucis and I have a question for the Bishops...Why we cannot make this procession of Via Crucis anymore in the time of democracy every community can make it's own procession outside as in London Bridge the Muslim brothers did it. Why we catholics don't do it anymore at least the Catholic schools?
Haven't been able to reconcile myself to the idea of reasoning sometimes wonder as catholics can we reason away faith depending on experience or intellectual ability faith for miraculous healing is it more third level education of the Catholic Faith
Thanks for sharing this knowledge, some very interesting concepts here. I don't understand it in its entirety but certain things jumped out, such as people leaving pits for other people to fall into because they are less knowledgeable than them and the inadvisability of prayer outside where others can see you. To me personally prayer seems a very private thing. There was also mentioned 'delicate foods' and to avoid them - I am not sure what that means ?
I say: “Bless us, O Lord, and these thy gifts which we are about to receive.” Before eating wherever I am. (I tend to forget to say the Thanksgiving prayer.)
[1 John 4] {4:1} Dearly beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits if they be of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. {4:2} By this is the spirit of God known. Every spirit which confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: {4:3} And every spirit that dissolveth Jesus is not of God. And this is Antichrist, of whom you have heard that he cometh: and he is now already in the world. Douay Rheims Challoner Bible

What is the utility of public prayer? It seems strange to me. Thx

He probably means foods that are overly luxurious, or with luxurious (for the time) spices and whatnot.

"IGNORANCE of the spirit"
That is the case with most of us most of the time.
Thanks for sharing some of the Church's treasury. It would be great if something of Pope Francis's actual magisterium may be uploaded also.
At some point we may record his first encyclical.

Thankee.
Is it incorrect to say that aside from Christ, all people - whether of the church or not - will act like a wolf in sheep’s clothing?
No, a wolf in sheep's clothing is a malicious person pretending to be a child of God. Simply being a sinner does not make one a wolf.
