How to Trim a Beard

This module will show how to trim a beard using scissors and clippers.
Step one
First, scissor over comb the initial length using the wide teeth of the comb because it will not pull the hair. Get rid some of the excess length. Move the head around to really get into that length, especially underneath the chin.
Step two
Next use the clippers over comb, using the wide teeth of the comb but instead of cutting across, cut up and through. Scoop up and out to remove any excess length. With any beard, the hair moves in different directions so make sure to move the hair around to get an equal distribution of movement with the hair.
Step three
To edge out the beard, use the edge of the clippers to help refine it.
Step four
For the underside where the hair grows around the neck, make it look like a finished beard. Clipper through on the skin to get rid of the excess length that grows underneath the chin.
