Finally someone who says the hows and whys in extremely simple terms and not in a 20+ minute video. Very straight forward with steps aswell in the end, great video!
Labrada!!!!!!!!!! WOW! Your competition days you were incredible with perfect symmetry!!!! Love it!!!! I’m 48 years old now but you and a couple of other I’ve followed. Good to see you on this platform😎😎😎😎😎
Lee has always been my favorite bodybuilder....very educated and positive and just an inspiration...I could listen to him talk all day about anything because he always talks with heart and positive thoughts about success....
Great video. Lee is a legend, real nice guy and knows what he's talking about. Diet is 80% of working out. When you get it correct, you grow like crazy.
Have been a big fan of Lee Labrada for many years and hold a lot of respect for his wisdom and experience. His approach to body building is intelligent, yet simple enough for anyone to follow. The man is in his 60s and looks great
Lee Labrada has always been my favorite bodybuilder of all time along with Shawn Ray. Lean Body shakes are so good. I always throw in strawberries and blueberries, and sometimes I'll throw in papaya with dragon fruit.
This is straight up clean advice with no complexity surrounding it. For breakfast I grab a few slices of whole wheat bread or bagels (whichever), add some scrambled eggs + banana. Right after that I take my pre-workout supplement or coffee (whichever I feel like consuming that day). I’m off to the gym the next hour. You honestly can’t beat this formula, your body will thank you for it and the workouts are always pleasant. People have gotten too attached to the concept of training while fasting. Which I can understand depending on your goals.
However, that anabolic window was way over done in the 80s and 90s. You don't need to load, just a small stream of key nutrients. The value of fasting is still very under-rated. Too many carbs might be well received by the muscle right after a workout but the rest of the body is suffering just so you can feel good about stuffing your skeletal muscle cells. Similarly, anabolic steroids make muscles grow, but that does not mean it is a sign that you are doing something good for overall health.
Lee labrada has always been one of the most knowledge regarding nutrition. Even back in the day I remember watching him , and how meticulous he was regarding diet . And didn't over do it with other "supplements" had everything down too a fine science. That's why he's still got his health and looking great . Unlike alot of bodybuilders unfortunately . I know this is an old video. But what about high glucose drink and protein shake post workout? Here in the UK I always drink a can of locozade . Cals-198g Carbs- 53g Sugars- 37g. Should I leave this out when cutting?
I have had the honour of meeting Lee Labrada many times over the years. He was and still is my greatest inspiration. When Lee speaks "You Listen" ! #LEGEND
Mr labrada i have 2 questions that is 1.after workout is it true we have to consume less carbs 2.what is the best thing to consume in intra workout for better pump and vascularity
i train at night because i work all day , my pre workout is potatoes and fish 1 hour after that i go to train and after train i drink a shake 30 to 50 minutes after the workout , the shake is 1 tablespoon of honey with 1 scoop of protein and 10 gr of creatine , then i go home and eat the last meal at day , ground beef , almonds and vegetables and then go to sleep. my question is , is that enough to fuel my muscles or i need more than just honey to get a good muscle recovery. i eat 6 meal a day and the shake . all my meals have carbohydrates except the last one. i hit all the macros that i need every day. good video keep the good job
I wake up and have a cup of eggwhites, 1/4 cup of cream of rice with a scoop of vanilla protein powder with some slivered almonds. Post workout meal is an hour after training and it consists of 1 4oz grass fed beef patty and 4oz lean ground chicken with 1 1/4 cup of basmati rice.
I have always been an active person all my life, I was relatively lucky to have what active life that I did have, raised on a farm, hunting and fishing, exercised as much as I could, I did my time in the army, I have 4yrs in karate, and so this video is telling me with the substance of life, getting and having an exercise routine is a crucial factor of life, God created us to be his human walking n breathing physical creatures of the human race , exercise is there for a reason,
Think alot of people need to watch this video the guy knows his stuff check him out and his son hunter labrada on UA-cam. Massive fan of your son future Mr Olympia in the making. Thx keep the advice coming 💪😊👍

Lee Labrada and Bob Paris had the most aesthetic physiques in bodybuilding back in the 80's.
Yes, and he should have won the Olympia!

seems good to me
that is definetly enough to fuel your muscles
you need to consume more carbs post workout to replenish your glycogen stores which were depleted from your workout
Why u take 10gm of creatine? 5gm is enough?
@@akninety6 where u from?

Plz sir tell me ..working on an emplty stomach with black coffee is more effective ....
