What can you do with the original BMPCC?

- I have compiled the footage I shot for this channel over the last 15 months with the BMPCC OG I bought in 2015. So far, I have worked with four lenses: Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 Art, Pentacon 29mm f2.8, Helios 44-2, and Tokina 70-210 SD. I generally record with the RAW codec, but this video also contains some footage shot with Prores HQ and Prores 422 codecs. Over the past nine years, I have used this camera as a cinematographer in many documentaries and short films. It is still an indispensable camera for me. What sets the BMPCC OG apart from digital mirrorless cameras is that it operates entirely on the principles of a cinema camera.

Bro you killed it with so many shots here... i need to use this camera more. What do yo use for power? I'm using a DIY adapter for NP batteries but thinking of less clunky alternatives. Oh and...ES ESTO BARCELONA/ANDALUCÍA/ESPAÑA EN GENERAL? jajajajajaja
The best battery alternative is the NP battery adapter. I use that too. There are also smaller sized versions of the NP series. Maybe they will be more practical for you.
If you throw in some textures, grain, gate, and breath it could easily pass as Arriflex Super16. Good job!

@@Iso_800 oh.. I'm saying now that BLackmagic has no cinema dng and no longer uses the manufacturer of the OG pocket sensor.. their cameras Lack the magic displayed like in your videos

There were rumors of "Bmpcc og G2" going around for a while. However, there was no confirmation or denial from the company about this rumor. I am hopeful. This camera has a serious fan base.
I want to believe that it will be updated with a 4K 60p sensor with the same algorithm :)

@@Iso_800 one can only hope. I'd be great with the same camera.. sensor. ISO etc.. if only it downsamples 1080p from 4k in camera to avoid aliasing. The only flaw this camera has in my opinion.
