When I got mine, I struggled with a huge dead spot in the throttle. When my scooter shop fitted a custom throttle, it all came together. Smooth, bursts of power at will, and quiet as. Up to 3000 kilometres and riding confidently in traffic.
Hi Henk, thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! It actually took me almost 200+ miles (300km) of riding to get used to it. I'm so happy I swapped it out with the throttle. Which throttle did you end up going with? Well said! That's one of the most impressive things about the scooter after the throttle is replaced. The smoothness of power delivery and the ability to control it at will is amazing. Congrats on reaching 3000km, I just it 2600miles (4184km) on mine!
I took the Nami for a test ride at FFR in Brooklyn last year and although it felt absolutely huge and beastly compared to my smallish Mantis, I didn't like the feel of it for me. I ended up getting Thunder 2 from MinimotorsUSA. What I tell everyone is test ride them if you can and then buy what you like. Great video and ride safe out there in Queens! I miss my old stomping grounds.
Yup, you're exactly right. I tell everyone to test ride the scooter in person if you can because there might be something about it that you don't like. However, I do understand it's next to impossible unless you're in one of the major cities with a scooter shop. I'm glad you liked the video, thank you for watching it! Queens feels like its finally getting more fun to ride but nothing beats those "hyper bike lanes" in BK that separate us from traffic and pedestrians! Safe riding on your Thunder2!

thanks for watching the first review I ever made and welcome to the channel, I appreciate your support! The sad update is I no longer have the Burn E. I had to sell it to a friend of mine because my building was giving me a hard time with it. I got to about 3000 miles with it and it was incredible. The good news is I was still able to stay in the Nami family with the Klima and my building has been completely ok with it so far (its almost been 6 months). My buddy who bought the scooter from me is around 280lbs and it's been working well for him. The only thing you may have to do is contact Michael Sha (owner of Nami) either through the FB Group or on UA-cam and request a suspension with higher weight capacity since you're likely to bottom out the stock suspension. The stem height should work for you as well but you could always get a riser or a custom stem from Michael. As for the range, I think if you manage your throttle usage and stay in the lower modes, 50 miles will be doable. I was able to do 55+ miles of really high speed riding and still made it home with 20% battery (I weighed around 200 lb at the time). I wish I had a better answer but I hope this helps!

When I was in Miami I test rode the Wolf King GT Pro, Nami Burn-E and the Apollo Phantom. Ended up getting a used Phantom V1 for hella cheap as a starter scooter and it did the job. Now after putting 2800 miles on it, its time for something new and I think im gonna finally get the Burn-E. The ride is just so great and it had such a wide platform to modify and customize.
The phantom and WKGT are great scooters. In my opinion, the Burn E(E2 and E2 max) are much more comfortable and fun to ride. When you get one, I hope that you enjoy the hell out of it as much as I do! Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel!
But hey you should wait a couple months..apparently they updated some part in the column that use to be aluminum to steel. A handful of riders were getting them broke at 30 mph..like i think the count is 6. Problem got solved by company in December. So at the very least contact the seller and ask if the column is steel or aluminum. Just safer to get the steel one.

as european this video was soo good showing the city.. like nothing manipulating showing only the good or the bad, but it was neutral, so ppl can get a clear vision about new york. It was a bit frustrating here in europe there are almost on every corner a supermarket to buy groceries but in this video i saw only one :D Maybe i dont know the shop names so maybe there was more, but overall i saw only one food market thing store :D. I like very the nami but it's a bit too expensive for me, but i watch every video, i know there is no more to know for me about this scooter, but every video has a different story to tell. Liked very much the camera angle, your voice was relaxing, I hope to have the opportunity to visit New York in the future, also i very like architecture so the building are nice too, looks like a bigger Budapest :D

Generally, the shops/ supermarkets here in NYC are scattered in the residential neighborhoods but are concentrated into shopping centers like in the beginning of the video. NYC is a beautiful city so I try to provide a view of it that isnt so "crazy" lol! I love the Burn E, but I agree with you, these "super scooters" can be very expensive. I only purchased it because I save so much money on gas, parking, road tolls, and public transportation that it paid for itself after a 8-12 months. Your rides convinced me to get an Insta360 of my own! I share your sentiments about all the Nami accessories only being available in SE Asia or Europe. I want to replace my fenders with the Carbonrevo stuff, but I'm SUPER hesitant to send that much money to Singapore and wait for who knows how long. The fortunate thing is that my ride (Nami Burn E 2 base model) literally needs nothing from a performance standpoint. Everything I want to do to the scooter right now (aside from perhaps better batteries) is cosmetic. Before I got the Nami, I rode a Varla Pegasus. That weighs 66lbs. I thought that was heavy until I got on this Nami! Every ride, I have to carry it up 3 steps to get into my front door. It's not a lot, but it's enough! Personally, I like all of your camera angles. Don't hate if I use your rides for inspiration! What mic setup are you running?

The insta360 is an amazing camera but comes with that steeper learning curve on the editing side, however, it's totally worth it once you learn how to control the 360 camera. My kiddie bar is Carbon Revo, but I bought it from a local shop here in NYC. The rest of their kit I'd have to order from Singapore. Its the same for the Xxtreme maker 3D mods. They're all little things like covering up the hole in the back, covering up the exposed cables in the front, replacing the charger covers, and getting protection for the display, but it adds up. Luckily all of it is cosmetic so it's never a priority, but these small mods are kind of what makes modding fun! It worked out in the end because all the money I would've spent on the nami went to the s73 lol! I had a similar scooter in the Mantis! I thought it was gigantic and heavy until I had to load the Nami into my car the day I bought it lol. Thanks man, I appreciate the kind words. I actually just listened to this while drinking tea w/ my eyes closed and really was digging the vibe - I wouldn't want to own a Escooter that didn't have fold down handle bars some times its clutch to be able to fold down one side while you hold it and push with the other = allows for better coexistence in tight spaces w/ pedestrians :) that basically means I'm stuck w/ VSETT for now :) looking forward to your next video

I know the blasts suspension is designed specifically to keep the tires on uneven roads at high speeds so I get the inverted swingarm design. I personally don’t need it but I may change my mind when I see it in person lol. The one that really caught my attention is the Klima. It has everything that I love about Nami in a smaller more manageable package! I don’t mind giving up top end speed to make it easier to store in NYC. Top end speed in the city is more about bragging rights than usefulness 😅.
@@eyebahnrides yes you are right about the space i live in the city also tho not as big as you (athens, greeece) but i can imagine in your city it matters a lot. i really like the klima also tho i wished it was a bit faster. i can tell just by looking at the suspension in the blast model that it will work better i just dont like how it looks. i know they are both 60v scoots and the klima got a low top speed but they are pretty fast on acceleration i think. p.s. i can use some top speed here lol :D

Thank you, I appreciate the positive feedback and I’m glad you enjoyed it! This was a really difficult video to make as an amateur and I’m satisfied with how it came out. The hardest thing to do was execute what I had envisioned in my mind because I don’t have the refined skills of a seasoned video editor! I’ve only had one flat and that was caused by hitting a pothole and it cracked my rim. It was fault because I was speeding in an area I wasn’t familiar with. I loaded the scooter into a cab and brought it to fluidfree. Ed takes care of all that stuff because I’m not a “handy” person 😅. I’ve seen people in the forums bringing it to random EScooter shops and they’ll do a patch up job. i do have to add, I run “armordilloz” inside the tire so I’ve never had a regular flat!

I haven’t had any issues with places like Rite Aid or the supermarkets but I’ve had a few bodega owners tell me to just leave it at the entrance and they’ll keep an eye on it. I love my Burn E, however, I’m heavily considering the new Klima Max because it gives us that signature Nami acceleration/ ride feel in a smaller package. I’m waiting for FFR Brooklyn to get them in.
I wish I could ride the Klima. I'm 6'4 240 lbs. So it's too tiny. I think the Nami Burn is better suited for bigger people or heavier riders. So far I've even walked into Saks 5th with it and no issues. Just more stares. 😅

Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Steve! I'm rocking my TSG Pass Pro in the Matte Blue. It's been my go to helmet after buying an MTB and Moto helmet. Great choice on the Burn E2! If that were out during the time I purchased the scooter, I would've went with it instead because I still feel that 60mph is overkill for city commuting and I rarely get to use all that power. Yeaaaaa, I 10000000% agree about the weight. I had to load it into the back seat of my small sedan in the "Staten Island High Speed Group Ride" video I did and it was rough lol. I may sound like a fanboy saying this, but I believe they make the best value for your money for each of the scooters they make (Klima, Blast, E, E2, and E2 Max)
I had about 5 dulatrons, this thing is consistantly better. Only problem I had with mine was the steering baring went. From letting it sit in my garage for 2 months, and they told me the moisture got in there and ruined it.
Thanks for watching the video! Thats good to know about the Dualtrons since I've always wanted to own one. I had a similar issue with my bearings but it's because I ride on wet roads quite often. It feels like it rains almost every week in NYC. I had the bearings changed and marine grease added to help offset the issues with the rain. Were you able to fix the bearing issue?
@@eyebahnrides I just dropped my Nami off last week to have it fixed under warranty. But yea you dont want a dualtron. They have either archaic suspension, short handlebars with a stem creak. Most models dont have a front light. The only plus is that you would be dealing with Joker and his crew at minimotors nyc they are pretty cool guys. But I would rather have the Nami

Space was never really the issue. It's more like an annoying by product of living in NYC. If I didn't have any issues with my building management and I had space, I would honestly have both the Burn E and the Klima Max. Each one represents a different riding experience. The Klima would be my daily commuter while the Burn E would be the long range/ group ride scooter.
The top 3 scooters 🛴 on my wishlist are: •Segway GT2 🛴 •Dualtron City w/Seat 🛴 •Weped Dark Knight 🛴 I currently own a Ninebot Max (G30P) w/ Seat tho, bc I’m a Moped Scooter Man 🛵 1st! 🤪🤙🏾
Hi Robb, thanks for watching the video. 3 Great scooter choices. I think the Segway GT2 is going to be the best for everyday use because of the IP rating. However, all are amazing options if you're not riding in the wet and using your moped as the primary ride!
I swapped my Nami for a GT2 for a day with my friend, and was eager to trade back after an hour. If you plan on going fast the range really drains. I ended up getting stranded on palm beach island… 2 miles away from home
Hey Ivan, is your klima technically legal in NY , if not did you ever get stopped, or worry about getting stopped? Especially when you’re going fast. Asking because in my province in Canada the Klima wouldn’t be legal only because of the motor power. However it seems cops won’t bother as long as you’re riding fine. Also, the Klima seems to look low key enough to not seem like a high end escooter (even tho it is 😂)
thanks for watching this oldshool review and welcome to the channel Faradinho! It's definitely the same here in NYC. As long as you don't ride like a menace, NYPD will leave you alone. Even on my Burn E, they never really bothered me. The only time they speak to me is to compliment the scooter, the helmet, and or the brake lights that I use. At the end of the day they're people too and they want to let you know they appreciate you not riding like a ass lol. There are always check points on the bridge that I ride over and they've always let me pass. There is a "legal weight limit" of 100lbs for stand up scooters so the Klima is ok. Going forward, I think the folks with "heavyweight scooters" over 100 lbs will have problems with the way things are going here. That's one of the biggest reasons I decided to downsize to the Klima Max. It's a sleeper scooter that flies under the radar but it pulls like a monster. At the end of the day, even 42 mph is overkill for urban riding. I hope this helps!

@@Dinhodeen congratulations! It's a heck of a scooter so enjoy getting to know it. Just take your time and never ride in conditions that make you uncomfortable. Also, gear up with body armor and, like you said, a good helmet. Life changing injuries can happen at the speeds we go at so anything that can help bring you home to your loved ones will help. The TSG Pass Pro is great if you're rarely going past 35mph. If you're riding at max speeds most of the time, I recommend wearing a moto helmet. Also, check out Predator Helmets that's based out of Canada. I believe it's cheaper to purchase if you're up there. I've always wanted one but our cost down here + shipping is really expensive.

Thanks for watching this video @chickentava , I appreciate ya. I would suggest checking in to your local road laws to see where you're allowed to be. I don't run in to many issues with the cops because I'm quite a respectful rider and I'm mindful of where I'm riding. If I'm with the cars, I can ride a bit quicker and flow with traffic. If I'm with pedestrians/bikes in the bike lanes, I never blast past them. I do a gentle overtake because it's hard to predict how they will react to an overtake. I also never ride where I'm not supposed to be like Sidewalks, public trails, etc... I hope this helps!
12:19 I actually love the whirring motors and tire noise. It sounds more responsive and planted to the ground in my opinion. I always play music on my speaker while riding so I usually don’t even hear the motors.

I had the wolf warrior for a few days last year and I just remembered being irritated by the “howling” of the motors. I usually play music when I’m not filming for content so I usually just hear the music as well. I really notice it when I’m editing my video clips and it’s dead quiet on the Nami but loud as heck on the super73!
Why do you use a speaker? Use a headset. I really think it’s tacky and makes a lot of other riders look bad. Do you have a reason why you prefer a speaker?
@@goombahead634 speaker is way safer. Others can hear you and you can hear your surroundings. These PEVS are quiet so it’s important to be heard. I don’t play it super loud like a Honda civic with subwoofers cruising through Washington heights 🤣
@@goombahead634 I used to use a headset, but I felt a bit too cut off from whats going on around me. I wear a speaker on the shoulder portion of my bag so that I can hear it but it's not too loud for those around me. I personally would never use those gigantic speakers that blast really loud music.
Do you know what the acronym in the Nami name represents? I heard it once in an interview with the company founder, but I can’t recall it exactly. Isn’t it something like New Age Mobile Innovations?

Well I agreed with a lot of what you're saying, but like you say it all depends on what you use it for...I've had a Nami Gen E Max 2022 model for around a year, but mines has the huge battery but as I live in Australia, I'd say I have a lot farther to travel. I have clocked up just under 12,000km as my daily commute 6/7 days is about 90kms (to convert to miles divide by 1.6) But it a fair whack. Because a round 40% is off road ( dirt tracks and roads) I have a road tyre on front and knobby off rd on back, cheifly because it works for me and when its wet on the rd you DO NOT want an off rd tyre on the front....DANGEROUS!! I''ve worn out three sets of tyres, done all the servicing becuase there is still no skooter store outside major cities. I live about 120km from brisbane in qld, and I literally rode it home...off the highway....one charge....still costs to charge it empty to full here is appprox $2. Compare doing 90-100km a day in a car and this thing has paid itself off already. My only gripe is the steering dampener..I have broken two because there are no bigger ones that fit!!!! There you go. I love it still and will get back in another year. Btw I'm 52 years old and carry that fucking skooter up amd down 17 steps every day...its 52kgs....You seriously cant lift that?? WOW!!!

I personally have stuck to road tires because 99.99% of my riding is done on paved roads and having off roads don't work too well in NYC. As for the carrying, I definitely can carry the scooter and I can curl it if i wanted too lol. However, just because I can, doesn't mean I want to! As for the damper, I know the standard ones are terrible. I tried this damper on a buddies scooter and it's pretty good. Whatever mate but I've yet to find a seppo that will do anything 'hard' is there if an easy way out. I'm 52, never been to a gym or exercised much but I can still carry my scooter up n down 17 steep steps every bloody day. @eyebahnrides this is my security set up. Two alarm locks on the disk brake, plus a special U lock made of some material that blunts grinder blades. I saw a video where it took him 45 mins to cut it after 27 blade hanges. Can't remember the brand but I'll pass it on when it reveals itself..I'm with YOUI insurance.....try them if they exist in US
thanks for watching my first attempt at a review video and welcome to the channel! If you were constantly doing 40mph, I'm going to assume that your range is going to be closer to 30 miles and less. However, this is just a ballpark estimate since there are several factors like rider weight, tires, tire pressure, temperature, wind, and P-settings that will add or reduce that estimated range. I've done a 55 mile joyride where I did extended periods of 50+mph mixed in with stop and go city riding and I was able to make it home with 15% still left. At that time I was 200lb with gear, it was pretty cold, and I was rocking PMT tires at 35psi. I hope this helps!

Is the Nami road legal in the US (in public). In Sweden youre not allowed to ride anything faster than 25 km/h without a ticket or even loosing your drivers license if you have one. Riding anything electric (not a car or bike) faster than 25km/h that is.
thanks for watching the review! The Nami is technically road legal but operates in a grey area. Since it's a stand up scooter, it's road legal. However, it's also not since its over 100 lbs. The speed isn't as regulated as long as you're not being a menace to society (unfortunately, there are alot of people that operate recklessly). The argument is always cars can go double or triple the speed limit but we never operate at those speeds. It's the same with PEVs, just because they can go 60mph, doesn't mean we'll operate at that speed all the time. Most PEV operators will operate with the flow of traffic and having that speed available is great to avoid shady situations. There are currently alot of laws & regulations going out so I'm not sure if it will stay this way in the US. 2024 is a big year for the industry and we'll see if we survive the year!
Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Robert. My personal minimum for a daily commuter that you'll ride in the wet/rain is IP55 which is what the Nami Burn E is. Even with that, you do still have to take active steps to maintain the scooter after a wet ride. If I ride my scooter in the rain, I always make sure to wipe it down after the ride and put it in front of a floor fan to help it dry faster. I also had marine grease added to the neck of the scooter to prevent any stiffness or notches and I have it routinely checked/ tuned up every 500-750 miles by my mechanic at the FluidFreeRide shop in Brooklyn. If you don't have shop near you that can help with that and you're reasonably handy, you can find a few videos on UA-cam on how to maintain your scooter. I hope this helps!
One thing that I noticed, wven on your vídeo, it's how people call it Nami. Inwas test driving the Klima and the guy at the store keeps saying he likes the Nami better, and pointing to the Burn-E

It's become a habit that's been difficult to break lol. It's similar to the way some of the first owners call the Burn E the Nami Viper.

I am going to maike a ultra duty utility electric scooter next . ..84v 80-90 amph ... real 6000w duel motors x2 for 12000 total real power ? maybe travil to diff cities? most all ratings are very fake ! the missing 3 amp hrs is not much, they may have used a different cell in the pack? be very careful if cheap batteries ,and junk BMS that dont equlize charge ! ride safe !

I think the range will be close to 3.75hr hrs at lower speeds( 30 mph). plus a removable quick extender pack later that can double the range ? spring can't come fast enough ! hopefully it looks a bit like a Hunter quad scooter ? the math says it should be 75+ mph for 29 min at speed ? keep making your killer videos ! maybe show us how you maintenance when you're not using it?
Had mine for 6 months. Just about 1300 miles. The brakes are starting to squeak and make weird noises. I’m going to bleed the brakes and put on some new pads. I have Logan brakes.

The mirrors I personally use are the Kemimoto Ovals and I have a link to them in the description of every video. I like that they’re made of metal, have great clarity, and have a slight tint to them that makes using them in the sun/ at night very comfy. Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel. The scooter would make for a perfect way of getting around job sites. 3 suggestions. 1- take advantage of the Nami’s password setting. You can set a 4 digit code that needs to be entered every time you turn on the scooter. 2. Purchase the beefiest chain and lock you can find. I personally use this. Kryptonite 1415 Chain & NY Disc Lock: amzn.to/3VVKHse . You can’t prevent failure of a chain and lock but you can slow down thieves as much as you can. You can run it through the rear hole and swing arm. I believe these locks come with insurance as well tho I would look it up to see if it covers scooters. 3- and final suggestion and always lock it up in an area at your job site where you or security can keep an eye on it. I know this isn’t much but I hope it helps
I wish those big, powerful scooters had full twist throttles I am not a fan of finger throttles. I think the thimb ones are better, either rhe vertical or the horizontal, like the Namis
To be honest with you, I've tried the Domino full throttle on the Burn E2 Max and absolutely hated it. In my opinion it was too twitchy and I didn't feel like it was safe. On an ebike or motorcycle, it works because you can lean your body forward and wedge yourself into the seat to reduce the chance of over throttling. When I tried it on the Nami, I found myself over throttling and almost losing control a few times because my body weight shifts during acceleration. I'm sure that's something that I can learn to compensate for over time, but I'd have to relearn how to ride the scooter. Both the original thumb throttle and "Polish throttle" are great for the scooter, and it just comes down to rider preference. In my opinion, the best throttle is the one that will make the rider more comfortable.
@@eyebahnrides sorry for my typos. I never thought about it, as the motorcycle and bikes have seats, that's why it is safe! Good point. Polish is the finger one? Mine is a thumb, vertical, but after testing the Klima horizontal one, I think the Klima has better ergonomics
@@unloveableandre Yup! If you go into the Nami Group on FB and type in "Polish Throttle", it'll come up. I like that the throttle is just right above the brake and puts my hand in a great position to hold on for dear life when accelerating hard lol. The horizontal throttle is great too, I only made the switch because I didn't feel safe using it after recovering from a broken hand last year. My hand couldn't grip the handlebars well enough with the thumb throttle so I bought the Polish Throttle upgrade at my local scooter shop! I use the vertical one on my Super73 and that's probably my least favorite throttle.
And I have to lift it up at least 4 minutes every day. Living in a flat with this beast can be a bit tricky. But I got used to it. It's not such a big isuie to put it in the elevator, folded, vertically.

@@folteaiustin4969 yup, the E2 is an amazing scooter! I would’ve went with that if it were available when I purchased my BurnE. The E2 is the perfect balance of performance and comfort. No creaking on my stem. That’s probably just my helmet creaking in the video lol. When I move my head in that helmet it tends to make a weird sound. The only thing that’s loud on my scooter is the rattling of the steering damper 😅

The throttle and the sine wave controllers do an amazing job of giving the rider control over the initial acceleration and power of the scooter. I can confidently control the scooter at 1-10mph despite having all the settings maxed out! When I tried a Weped and Dualtron, it felt uncontrollable at lower speeds because it kept trying to give me all the power even when you give the trigger a little squeeze. That and the IP rating made me go with the Nami instead. I hope this answers your question!

They're much better than the ones on Amazon because these are a single piece of anodized Aluminum and don't break apart on the road like the ones that come in pieces.

Do you know what brand they or or the manufacturer so I can try to find them myself? I tried an Amazon set and they were so cheap and flimsy that I could actually poke my finger through the metal. The were only slightly thicker than aluminum foil. Love your videos and thanks for the reply.

I've seen similar ones being sold by another shop in NYC called spirit beast that seemed like it would be similar. I've looked those up before and it seems that the only place that I could order that brand was Aliexpress.
Don't even consider RION. That company is a joke. Ive been waiting over 3 years, now they aren't even responding to emails. Lots of empty promises from them. Total trash. Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! It will depend. When you're dismounted and holding on to the bars they will be above the chest. When you're riding it will be at chest level. This is all under the assumption that you will keep the scooter stock. I'm 5'8 and the handlebar sits below chest when riding and at my chest when I dismount. If the bar is too high, there are two options: Option 1: People have the carbon fiber stem cut down to size by the retailer you're purchasing from. Option 2: Contact Michael Sha directly on UA-cam or Facebook and request a stem made to size. I hope this helps!

I'll subscribe and like your video/channel. At what height do you feel the handle bars should be? Last question.
@@likewater1429 You're very welcome. The thing is most of these reviewers probably just rode it for the video and don't actually have extensive experience with it. My scooter has over 3200 miles on it now and that's even with me rotating out with my Super73 and my AT2+ Board. I personally like the height of the bars because I don't like them when they're low. I absolutely HATE when theyre around my stomach/ waist. You may want it cut down an inch or two depending on preference after riding it. The shop I bought it from offered to cut it when I first got it because it was higher than my Mantis but I opted not to. I'm glad I didn't.

I’ve heard of them but it doesn’t worry me. They seem to be small isolated incidents. There are so many things that could lead to a failure of a part. I would need to know how they treated it, how they maintained it, how much abuse it went through to know what caused the issue. I know more Nami owners that have 5k-15k miles on theirs and they’ve only had to do maintenance vs those thatve had parts fail.

And what you said about the Nami being big and heavy is the absolute truth. I watched maybe 100+ vids before I got mine. @@eyebahnrides I got the nami 2 max on sale for about 3800, was a really good deal through fluid. I'm in Seattle so I can't really go into the shop but I've been liking it. Took me a couple weeks to figure out suspension, and I need to get these PMT tires on soon as well. It's an incredibly machine though. There's a bunch of modded Surrons in Seattle and I've been crushing them on the rides with it. Feels pretty fun 😄
Hey nothing special, thanks for watching the video and thanks for chiming in. There’s a bit of an unspoken give and take on the roads of NYC. It’s like pedestrians crossing when a don’t walk sign is up or drivers doing rolling stops at stop signs when there’s no traffic. As life long NYer whose commuted on every form of transportation in the city, you tend to learn the nuances of a specific commute. There are plenty of times the traffic officers themselves will wave you through a light and they seem irritated they had to notify you because you haven’t gone yet. There are also laws that allow us to follow the pedestrian signal instead of the light. As a driver my self, I’m very aware of these things when I drive my car and keep my eye out for commuters. I follow all the traffic lights then but will do “rolling stops” at stop signs. I don’t know anyone that stops and counts 3 full seconds at any stop sign. Hope this helps!

On x mode I can go for 3 days of commuting before I charge it back up to 80%. That’s about 45 miles (15 city miles per day). Just keep in mind that involves a lot of stop and go as well as elevation changes due to the bridge and natural landscape of NYC. Also, due to the natural flow of traffic, I don’t hit top speed often. I’m sure it’ll be less if I lived in an area with more open roads and less traffic. I hope this helps.

From what I’ve seen in the forums, the UK is finally making progress in making them legal but heavily regulated. It’s definitely crazy and dangerous but we just have to be as careful/ responsible as we can be

yep, I'm a sheltered city boy that uses an elevator to haul my PEVs everyday. Just because I can carry it doesn't mean I want to when I don't have to lol. Also, not all 100 lb objects are equal. Form factor, balance, grip, and moving parts can make moving a heavy object around more difficult.

When I got mine, I struggled with a huge dead spot in the throttle. When my scooter shop fitted a custom throttle, it all came together. Smooth, bursts of power at will, and quiet as. Up to 3000 kilometres and riding confidently in traffic.

Well said! That's one of the most impressive things about the scooter after the throttle is replaced. The smoothness of power delivery and the ability to control it at will is amazing. Congrats on reaching 3000km, I just it 2600miles (4184km) on mine!

I took the Nami for a test ride at FFR in Brooklyn last year and although it felt absolutely huge and beastly compared to my smallish Mantis, I didn't like the feel of it for me. I ended up getting Thunder 2 from MinimotorsUSA. What I tell everyone is test ride them if you can and then buy what you like. Great video and ride safe out there in Queens! I miss my old stomping grounds.
Yup, you're exactly right. I tell everyone to test ride the scooter in person if you can because there might be something about it that you don't like. However, I do understand it's next to impossible unless you're in one of the major cities with a scooter shop. I'm glad you liked the video, thank you for watching it! Queens feels like its finally getting more fun to ride but nothing beats those "hyper bike lanes" in BK that separate us from traffic and pedestrians! Safe riding on your Thunder2!

thanks for watching the first review I ever made and welcome to the channel, I appreciate your support! The sad update is I no longer have the Burn E. I had to sell it to a friend of mine because my building was giving me a hard time with it. I got to about 3000 miles with it and it was incredible. The good news is I was still able to stay in the Nami family with the Klima and my building has been completely ok with it so far (its almost been 6 months). My buddy who bought the scooter from me is around 280lbs and it's been working well for him. The only thing you may have to do is contact Michael Sha (owner of Nami) either through the FB Group or on UA-cam and request a suspension with higher weight capacity since you're likely to bottom out the stock suspension. The stem height should work for you as well but you could always get a riser or a custom stem from Michael. As for the range, I think if you manage your throttle usage and stay in the lower modes, 50 miles will be doable. I was able to do 55+ miles of really high speed riding and still made it home with 20% battery (I weighed around 200 lb at the time).

When I was in Miami I test rode the Wolf King GT Pro, Nami Burn-E and the Apollo Phantom. Ended up getting a used Phantom V1 for hella cheap as a starter scooter and it did the job. Now after putting 2800 miles on it, its time for something new and I think im gonna finally get the Burn-E. The ride is just so great and it had such a wide platform to modify and customize.
The phantom and WKGT are great scooters. In my opinion, the Burn E(E2 and E2 max) are much more comfortable and fun to ride. When you get one, I hope that you enjoy the hell out of it as much as I do!

They got the E2 Max on there now..with those LG batteries. I've seen them go on sale for 3,999 its about 4,299 right now.
But hey you should wait a couple months..apparently they updated some part in the column that use to be aluminum to steel. A handful of riders were getting them broke at 30 mph..like i think the count is 6. Problem got solved by company in December. So at the very least contact the seller and ask if the column is steel or aluminum. Just safer to get the steel one.

as european this video was soo good showing the city.. like nothing manipulating showing only the good or the bad, but it was neutral, so ppl can get a clear vision about new york. It was a bit frustrating here in europe there are almost on every corner a supermarket to buy groceries but in this video i saw only one :D Maybe i dont know the shop names so maybe there was more, but overall i saw only one food market thing store :D. I like very the nami but it's a bit too expensive for me, but i watch every video, i know there is no more to know for me about this scooter, but every video has a different story to tell. Liked very much the camera angle, your voice was relaxing, I hope to have the opportunity to visit New York in the future, also i very like architecture so the building are nice too, looks like a bigger Budapest :D

Generally, the shops/ supermarkets here in NYC are scattered in the residential neighborhoods but are concentrated into shopping centers like in the beginning of the video. NYC is a beautiful city so I try to provide a view of it that isnt so "crazy" lol!
I love the Burn E, but I agree with you, these "super scooters" can be very expensive. I only purchased it because I save so much money on gas, parking, road tolls, and public transportation that it paid for itself after a 8-12 months. The Klima was one of those scooters that I fell in love with on the first ride. I enjoyed it so much I ended up eventually buying one! I share your sentiments about all the Nami accessories only being available in SE Asia or Europe. I want to replace my fenders with the Carbonrevo stuff, but I'm SUPER hesitant to send that much money to Singapore and wait for who knows how long. The fortunate thing is that my ride (Nami Burn E 2 base model) literally needs nothing from a performance standpoint. Everything I want to do to the scooter right now (aside from perhaps better batteries) is cosmetic.
Before I got the Nami, I rode a Varla Pegasus. That weighs 66lbs. I thought that was heavy until I got on this Nami! Every ride, I have to carry it up 3 steps to get into my front door. It's not a lot, but it's enough!
Personally, I like all of your camera angles. Don't hate if I use your rides for inspiration! What mic setup are you running?
Thanks for watching the video, I appreciate it! Congrats! The insta360 is an amazing camera but comes with that steeper learning curve on the editing side, however, it's totally worth it once you learn how to control the 360 camera.
My kiddie bar is Carbon Revo, but I bought it from a local shop here in NYC. The rest of their kit I'd have to order from Singapore. Its the same for the Xxtreme maker 3D mods. They're all little things like covering up the hole in the back, covering up the exposed cables in the front, replacing the charger covers, and getting protection for the display, but it adds up. Luckily all of it is cosmetic so it's never a priority, but these small mods are kind of what makes modding fun! It worked out in the end because all the money I would've spent on the nami went to the s73 lol!
I had a similar scooter in the Mantis! I thought it was gigantic and heavy until I had to load the Nami into my car the day I bought it lol.

I actually just listened to this while drinking tea w/ my eyes closed and really was digging the vibe - I wouldn't want to own a Escooter that didn't have fold down handle bars some times its clutch to be able to fold down one side while you hold it and push with the other = allows for better coexistence in tight spaces w/ pedestrians :) that basically means I'm stuck w/ VSETT for now :) looking forward to your next video

Hey Bill, thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! I’m patiently waiting for both models to available in NYC. I know the blasts suspension is designed specifically to keep the tires on uneven roads at high speeds so I get the inverted swingarm design. I personally don’t need it but I may change my mind when I see it in person lol. The one that really caught my attention is the Klima. It has everything that I love about Nami in a smaller more manageable package! I don’t mind giving up top end speed to make it easier to store in NYC. Top end speed in the city is more about bragging rights than usefulness 😅.
@@eyebahnrides yes you are right about the space i live in the city also tho not as big as you (athens, greeece) but i can imagine in your city it matters a lot. i really like the klima also tho i wished it was a bit faster. i can tell just by looking at the suspension in the blast model that it will work better i just dont like how it looks. i know they are both 60v scoots and the klima got a low top speed but they are pretty fast on acceleration i think.
p.s. i can use some top speed here lol :D

Thank you, I appreciate the positive feedback and I’m glad you enjoyed it! This was a really difficult video to make as an amateur and I’m satisfied with how it came out. The hardest thing to do was execute what I had envisioned in my mind because I don’t have the refined skills of a seasoned video editor! I’ve only had one flat and that was caused by hitting a pothole and it cracked my rim. It was fault because I was speeding in an area I wasn’t familiar with. I loaded the scooter into a cab and brought it to fluidfree. Ed takes care of all that stuff because I’m not a “handy” person 😅. I’ve seen people in the forums bringing it to random EScooter shops and they’ll do a patch up job. i do have to add, I run “armordilloz” inside the tire so I’ve never had a regular flat!

I haven’t had any issues with places like Rite Aid or the supermarkets but I’ve had a few bodega owners tell me to just leave it at the entrance and they’ll keep an eye on it. I love my Burn E, however, I’m heavily considering the new Klima Max because it gives us that signature Nami acceleration/ ride feel in a smaller package. I’m waiting for FFR Brooklyn to get them in.
I wish I could ride the Klima. I'm 6'4 240 lbs. So it's too tiny. I think the Nami Burn is better suited for bigger people or heavier riders.
So far I've even walked into Saks 5th with it and no issues. Just more stares. 😅

Great choice on the Burn E2! If that were out during the time I purchased the scooter, I would've went with it instead because I still feel that 60mph is overkill for city commuting and I rarely get to use all that power. Yeaaaaa, I 10000000% agree about the weight. I had to load it into the back seat of my small sedan in the "Staten Island High Speed Group Ride" video I did and it was rough lol.
I may sound like a fanboy saying this, but I believe they make the best value for your money for each of the scooters they make (Klima, Blast, E, E2, and E2 Max)
I had about 5 dulatrons, this thing is consistantly better. Only problem I had with mine was the steering baring went. From letting it sit in my garage for 2 months, and they told me the moisture got in there and ruined it.
Thanks for watching the video! Thats good to know about the Dualtrons since I've always wanted to own one. I had a similar issue with my bearings but it's because I ride on wet roads quite often. It feels like it rains almost every week in NYC. I had the bearings changed and marine grease added to help offset the issues with the rain. Were you able to fix the bearing issue?
@@eyebahnrides I just dropped my Nami off last week to have it fixed under warranty.
But yea you dont want a dualtron. They have either archaic suspension, short handlebars with a stem creak. Most models dont have a front light. The only plus is that you would be dealing with Joker and his crew at minimotors nyc they are pretty cool guys. But I would rather have the Nami

If space wasn’t an issue, would you pick the Nami Burn E or Klima and why
Space was never really the issue. It's more like an annoying by product of living in NYC. If I didn't have any issues with my building management and I had space, I would honestly have both the Burn E and the Klima Max. Each one represents a different riding experience. The Klima would be my daily commuter while the Burn E would be the long range/ group ride scooter.

•Dualtron City w/Seat 🛴
•Weped Dark Knight 🛴

I swapped my Nami for a GT2 for a day with my friend, and was eager to trade back after an hour. If you plan on going fast the range really drains. I ended up getting stranded on palm beach island… 2 miles away from home

Hey Ivan, is your klima technically legal in NY , if not did you ever get stopped, or worry about getting stopped? Especially when you’re going fast.
Asking because in my province in Canada the Klima wouldn’t be legal only because of the motor power. However it seems cops won’t bother as long as you’re riding fine. Also, the Klima seems to look low key enough to not seem like a high end escooter (even tho it is 😂)

It's definitely the same here in NYC. As long as you don't ride like a menace, NYPD will leave you alone. Even on my Burn E, they never really bothered me. The only time they speak to me is to compliment the scooter, the helmet, and or the brake lights that I use. At the end of the day they're people too and they want to let you know they appreciate you not riding like a ass lol. There are always check points on the bridge that I ride over and they've always let me pass. There is a "legal weight limit" of 100lbs for stand up scooters so the Klima is ok. Going forward, I think the folks with "heavyweight scooters" over 100 lbs will have problems with the way things are going here. That's one of the biggest reasons I decided to downsize to the Klima Max. It's a sleeper scooter that flies under the radar but it pulls like a monster. At the end of the day, even 42 mph is overkill for urban riding.

@@Dinhodeen congratulations! It's a heck of a scooter so enjoy getting to know it. Just take your time and never ride in conditions that make you uncomfortable. Also, gear up with body armor and, like you said, a good helmet. Life changing injuries can happen at the speeds we go at so anything that can help bring you home to your loved ones will help. The TSG Pass Pro is great if you're rarely going past 35mph. If you're riding at max speeds most of the time, I recommend wearing a moto helmet.
Also, check out Predator Helmets that's based out of Canada. I believe it's cheaper to purchase if you're up there. I've always wanted one but our cost down here + shipping is really expensive.

Thanks for watching this video @chickentava , I appreciate ya. I would suggest checking in to your local road laws to see where you're allowed to be. I don't run in to many issues with the cops because I'm quite a respectful rider and I'm mindful of where I'm riding. If I'm with the cars, I can ride a bit quicker and flow with traffic. If I'm with pedestrians/bikes in the bike lanes, I never blast past them. I do a gentle overtake because it's hard to predict how they will react to an overtake. I also never ride where I'm not supposed to be like Sidewalks, public trails, etc...

12:19 I actually love the whirring motors and tire noise. It sounds more responsive and planted to the ground in my opinion. I always play music on my speaker while riding so I usually don’t even hear the motors.

I had the wolf warrior for a few days last year and I just remembered being irritated by the “howling” of the motors. I usually play music when I’m not filming for content so I usually just hear the music as well. I really notice it when I’m editing my video clips and it’s dead quiet on the Nami but loud as heck on the super73!
Why do you use a speaker? Use a headset. I really think it’s tacky and makes a lot of other riders look bad. Do you have a reason why you prefer a speaker?
@@goombahead634 speaker is way safer. Others can hear you and you can hear your surroundings. These PEVS are quiet so it’s important to be heard. I don’t play it super loud like a Honda civic with subwoofers cruising through Washington heights 🤣
@@goombahead634 I used to use a headset, but I felt a bit too cut off from whats going on around me. I wear a speaker on the shoulder portion of my bag so that I can hear it but it's not too loud for those around me. I personally would never use those gigantic speakers that blast really loud music.

Well I agreed with a lot of what you're saying, but like you say it all depends on what you use it for...I've had a Nami Gen E Max 2022 model for around a year, but mines has the huge battery but as I live in Australia, I'd say I have a lot farther to travel. I have clocked up just under 12,000km as my daily commute 6/7 days is about 90kms (to convert to miles divide by 1.6) But it a fair whack. Because a round 40% is off road ( dirt tracks and roads) I have a road tyre on front and knobby off rd on back, cheifly because it works for me and when its wet on the rd you DO NOT want an off rd tyre on the front....DANGEROUS!! I''ve worn out three sets of tyres, done all the servicing becuase there is still no skooter store outside major cities. I live about 120km from brisbane in qld, and I literally rode it home...off the highway....one charge....still costs to charge it empty to full here is appprox $2. Compare doing 90-100km a day in a car and this thing has paid itself off already. My only gripe is the steering dampener..I have broken two because there are no bigger ones that fit!!!! There you go. I love it still and will get back in another year. Btw I'm 52 years old and carry that fucking skooter up amd down 17 steps every day...its 52kgs....You seriously cant lift that?? WOW!!!

I personally have stuck to road tires because 99.99% of my riding is done on paved roads and having off roads don't work too well in NYC. As for the carrying, I definitely can carry the scooter and I can curl it if i wanted too lol. However, just because I can, doesn't mean I want to!
As for the damper, I know the standard ones are terrible. I tried this damper on a buddies scooter and it's pretty good. The only problem is it's expensive and I don't know how long it will last.

Whatever mate but I've yet to find a seppo that will do anything 'hard' is there if an easy way out. I'm 52, never been to a gym or exercised much but I can still carry my scooter up n down 17 steep steps every bloody day. After re watching the video have come to the conclusion that you have yet to do a hard days work yet.....I doubt you ever will....

GET INSURANCE!!! Cos I had my first stolen but was fully insured so no harm.

@eyebahnrides this is my security set up. Two alarm locks on the disk brake, plus a special U lock made of some material that blunts grinder blades. I saw a video where it took him 45 mins to cut it after 27 blade hanges. Can't remember the brand but I'll pass it on when it reveals itself..I'm with YOUI insurance.....try them if they exist in US

thanks for watching my first attempt at a review video and welcome to the channel! If you were constantly doing 40mph, I'm going to assume that your range is going to be closer to 30 miles and less. However, this is just a ballpark estimate since there are several factors like rider weight, tires, tire pressure, temperature, wind, and P-settings that will add or reduce that estimated range. I've done a 55 mile joyride where I did extended periods of 50+mph mixed in with stop and go city riding and I was able to make it home with 15% still left. At that time I was 200lb with gear, it was pretty cold, and I was rocking PMT tires at 35psi.

Is the Nami road legal in the US (in public). In Sweden youre not allowed to ride anything faster than 25 km/h without a ticket or even loosing your drivers license if you have one. Riding anything electric (not a car or bike) faster than 25km/h that is.
thanks for watching the review! The Nami is technically road legal but operates in a grey area. Since it's a stand up scooter, it's road legal. However, it's also not since its over 100 lbs. The speed isn't as regulated as long as you're not being a menace to society (unfortunately, there are alot of people that operate recklessly). The argument is always cars can go double or triple the speed limit but we never operate at those speeds. It's the same with PEVs, just because they can go 60mph, doesn't mean we'll operate at that speed all the time. Most PEV operators will operate with the flow of traffic and having that speed available is great to avoid shady situations.
There are currently alot of laws & regulations going out so I'm not sure if it will stay this way in the US. 2024 is a big year for the industry and we'll see if we survive the year!

I'm in proces of buying scoter for every day ride to job. What IP rating i must look for because i will ride it on rain and all weather.
Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Robert. My personal minimum for a daily commuter that you'll ride in the wet/rain is IP55 which is what the Nami Burn E is. Even with that, you do still have to take active steps to maintain the scooter after a wet ride. If I ride my scooter in the rain, I always make sure to wipe it down after the ride and put it in front of a floor fan to help it dry faster. I also had marine grease added to the neck of the scooter to prevent any stiffness or notches and I have it routinely checked/ tuned up every 500-750 miles by my mechanic at the FluidFreeRide shop in Brooklyn. If you don't have shop near you that can help with that and you're reasonably handy, you can find a few videos on UA-cam on how to maintain your scooter.

It's become a habit that's been difficult to break lol. It's similar to the way some of the first owners call the Burn E the Nami Viper.

I am going to maike a ultra duty utility electric scooter next . ..84v 80-90 amph ... real 6000w duel motors x2 for 12000 total real power ? maybe travil to diff cities? most all ratings are very fake ! the missing 3 amp hrs is not much, they may have used a different cell in the pack? be very careful if cheap batteries ,and junk BMS that dont equlize charge ! ride safe !

I think the range will be close to 3.75hr hrs at lower speeds( 30 mph). plus a removable quick extender pack later that can double the range ? spring can't come fast enough ! hopefully it looks a bit like a Hunter quad scooter ? the math says it should be 75+ mph for 29 min at speed ? keep making your killer videos ! maybe show us how you maintenance when you're not using it?
Had mine for 6 months. Just about 1300 miles. The brakes are starting to squeak and make weird noises. I’m going to bleed the brakes and put on some new pads. I have Logan brakes.

@@eyebahnrides yeah. The unfortunate thing was they were misaligned upon arrival and I didn’t notice until it started making noise. So advice to first time riders: align your brakes!

Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! There's no "play" as in the folding mechanism is solid as hell. There is a bit of "give" with the carbon fiber stem where it feels like its pulling you allong if you accelerate hard.

The mirrors I personally use are the Kemimoto Ovals and I have a link to them in the description of every video. I like that they’re made of metal, have great clarity, and have a slight tint to them that makes using them in the sun/ at night very comfy.

If you type in "Polish Throttle" in the group search, you'll find the people that know where to get it. I was lucky enough that someone in NYC had them and I bought it from them. I also had my scooter's mechanic install it from me following the diagrams that are in the FB group. I hope this helps!

1- take advantage of the Nami’s password setting. You can set a 4 digit code that needs to be entered every time you turn on the scooter.
2. Purchase the beefiest chain and lock you can find. I personally use this. Kryptonite 1415 Chain & NY Disc Lock: amzn.to/3VVKHse . You can’t prevent failure of a chain and lock but you can slow down thieves as much as you can. You can run it through the rear hole and swing arm. I believe these locks come with insurance as well tho I would look it up to see if it covers scooters.
3- and final suggestion and always lock it up in an area at your job site where you or security can keep an eye on it.

I am not a fan of finger throttles. I think the thimb ones are better, either rhe vertical or the horizontal, like the Namis
To be honest with you, I've tried the Domino full throttle on the Burn E2 Max and absolutely hated it. In my opinion it was too twitchy and I didn't feel like it was safe. On an ebike or motorcycle, it works because you can lean your body forward and wedge yourself into the seat to reduce the chance of over throttling. When I tried it on the Nami, I found myself over throttling and almost losing control a few times because my body weight shifts during acceleration. I'm sure that's something that I can learn to compensate for over time, but I'd have to relearn how to ride the scooter. Both the original thumb throttle and "Polish throttle" are great for the scooter, and it just comes down to rider preference. In my opinion, the best throttle is the one that will make the rider more comfortable.
@@eyebahnrides sorry for my typos. I never thought about it, as the motorcycle and bikes have seats, that's why it is safe! Good point. Polish is the finger one? Mine is a thumb, vertical, but after testing the Klima horizontal one, I think the Klima has better ergonomics
@@unloveableandre Yup! If you go into the Nami Group on FB and type in "Polish Throttle", it'll come up. I like that the throttle is just right above the brake and puts my hand in a great position to hold on for dear life when accelerating hard lol. The horizontal throttle is great too, I only made the switch because I didn't feel safe using it after recovering from a broken hand last year. My hand couldn't grip the handlebars well enough with the thumb throttle so I bought the Polish Throttle upgrade at my local scooter shop! I use the vertical one on my Super73 and that's probably my least favorite throttle.
And I have to lift it up at least 4 minutes every day. Living in a flat with this beast can be a bit tricky. But I got used to it. It's not such a big isuie to put it in the elevator, folded, vertically.

Also. Does your stem creak? I can hear it over your Voice-over. Mine never did. And believe me, here, in Romania, roads can be tricky. You know those invisible potholes.
@@folteaiustin4969 yup, the E2 is an amazing scooter! I would’ve went with that if it were available when I purchased my BurnE. The E2 is the perfect balance of performance and comfort.
No creaking on my stem. That’s probably just my helmet creaking in the video lol. When I move my head in that helmet it tends to make a weird sound. The only thing that’s loud on my scooter is the rattling of the steering damper 😅
Does the throttle feel like it controls the torque or the speed? My VSETT 10+ had a speed based throttle and it made it very hard to control

The throttle and the sine wave controllers do an amazing job of giving the rider control over the initial acceleration and power of the scooter. I can confidently control the scooter at 1-10mph despite having all the settings maxed out! When I tried a Weped and Dualtron, it felt uncontrollable at lower speeds because it kept trying to give me all the power even when you give the trigger a little squeeze. That and the IP rating made me go with the Nami instead. I hope this answers your question!

They're much better than the ones on Amazon because these are a single piece of anodized Aluminum and don't break apart on the road like the ones that come in pieces.

Do you know what brand they or or the manufacturer so I can try to find them myself? I tried an Amazon set and they were so cheap and flimsy that I could actually poke my finger through the metal. The were only slightly thicker than aluminum foil. Love your videos and thanks for the reply.

I've seen similar ones being sold by another shop in NYC called spirit beast that seemed like it would be similar. I've looked those up before and it seems that the only place that I could order that brand was Aliexpress.
Don't even consider RION. That company is a joke. Ive been waiting over 3 years, now they aren't even responding to emails. Lots of empty promises from them. Total trash. I am filing with small claims court, but have no expectation of receiving anything. Just something to consider for anyone out there

It depends! Legally, you have to stop at each of them. Sometimes, you can go with the "walk signal" on the traffic light.

I'm 5'6 how high will my arms/hands be when holding the handle bars riding?

Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! It will depend. When you're dismounted and holding on to the bars they will be above the chest. When you're riding it will be at chest level. This is all under the assumption that you will keep the scooter stock. I'm 5'8 and the handlebar sits below chest when riding and at my chest when I dismount.
If the bar is too high, there are two options:
Option 1: People have the carbon fiber stem cut down to size by the retailer you're purchasing from.
Option 2: Contact Michael Sha directly on UA-cam or Facebook and request a stem made to size.

@@likewater1429 You're very welcome. The thing is most of these reviewers probably just rode it for the video and don't actually have extensive experience with it. My scooter has over 3200 miles on it now and that's even with me rotating out with my Super73 and my AT2+ Board.
I personally like the height of the bars because I don't like them when they're low. I absolutely HATE when theyre around my stomach/ waist. You may want it cut down an inch or two depending on preference after riding it. The shop I bought it from offered to cut it when I first got it because it was higher than my Mantis but I opted not to. I'm glad I didn't.

What do you think about the reports of the stem breaking off?
I’ve heard of them but it doesn’t worry me. They seem to be small isolated incidents. There are so many things that could lead to a failure of a part. I would need to know how they treated it, how they maintained it, how much abuse it went through to know what caused the issue. I know more Nami owners that have 5k-15k miles on theirs and they’ve only had to do maintenance vs those thatve had parts fail.

And what you said about the Nami being big and heavy is the absolute truth. I watched maybe 100+ vids before I got mine. When Fedex delivered it, I almost was in shock in how tall and massive the scooter was. The youtube vids don't do it justice. Anyway, keep up the solid work, I love the vids. As person whose spent many years troubleshooting in tech, the one thing that I’m certain of is that the story we’re given is not 100% truthful (especially when there’s something broken) lol. That’s also kind of why I mentioned I hope they don’t skimp out on their build now they have a successful line up.
I did the same thing lol. Once I learned about it I watched everything I could and read every review I could find. Almost 5gs on a scooter a lot of money. I was floored when I saw it in person next to my mantis lol.

Had mine for 6 months. Typing this as I just got back from a 40 mile ride with an average speed of 36 mph. It will definitely do that 😂. I was very skeptical when purchasing this having only purchased off brand Chinese scooters. Nami is a life changer, I don’t need a car anymore, seriously.

@@eyebahnrides I got the nami 2 max on sale for about 3800, was a really good deal through fluid. I'm in Seattle so I can't really go into the shop but I've been liking it. Took me a couple weeks to figure out suspension, and I need to get these PMT tires on soon as well. It's an incredibly machine though. There's a bunch of modded Surrons in Seattle and I've been crushing them on the rides with it. Feels pretty fun 😄

Hey nothing special, thanks for watching the video and thanks for chiming in. There’s a bit of an unspoken give and take on the roads of NYC. It’s like pedestrians crossing when a don’t walk sign is up or drivers doing rolling stops at stop signs when there’s no traffic. As life long NYer whose commuted on every form of transportation in the city, you tend to learn the nuances of a specific commute. There are plenty of times the traffic officers themselves will wave you through a light and they seem irritated they had to notify you because you haven’t gone yet. There are also laws that allow us to follow the pedestrian signal instead of the light.
As a driver my self, I’m very aware of these things when I drive my car and keep my eye out for commuters. I follow all the traffic lights then but will do “rolling stops” at stop signs. I don’t know anyone that stops and counts 3 full seconds at any stop sign.

how many miles you CAN RUN WITH ALL THE settings max out
On x mode I can go for 3 days of commuting before I charge it back up to 80%. That’s about 45 miles (15 city miles per day). Just keep in mind that involves a lot of stop and go as well as elevation changes due to the bridge and natural landscape of NYC. Also, due to the natural flow of traffic, I don’t hit top speed often. I’m sure it’ll be less if I lived in an area with more open roads and less traffic. I hope this helps.

@@elragnara the 40ah max should be more than sufficient for recreational joyriding. I would just buy rapid chargers so that you can always top off should you need it while cruising around

yep, I'm a sheltered city boy that uses an elevator to haul my PEVs everyday. Just because I can carry it doesn't mean I want to when I don't have to lol. Also, not all 100 lb objects are equal. Form factor, balance, grip, and moving parts can make moving a heavy object around more difficult.
But the scooter is heavy as a cow.
