What most people don't factor in is the resale value of the vehicle. Yes, EVs have lower running costs. But in all scenarios, petrol scooters have a higher resale value which eventually brings down the total cost of ownership over the lifecycle. I have still not seen anybody talking about this or buying a used EV scooter. Really hoping somebody will solve this question by sharing their experience
The reason for EV not penetrated the Used vehicle market is the time duration, ev have become main stream mostly after covid (less than 3 years) and not enough market saturation is reached for spare parts yet that people buy them for spare either. When battery recycling becomes are huge market due to EVs and environmental reason, the resale value of the Ev will only rise. You can take an example from US market with tesla, currently even a 5 yr old tesla resale value is higher than then purchased value due to battery, recycling and chip they contain. moreover Ev will get continued software support which make them more stable and add new features which might increase the resale value.
Even new teslas are going 20-30% below MSRP. Let alone second hand. you are talking about the post covid chip shortage era. Now the used market prices are plummeting like crazy. And about software update..hardware can only support for a certain amount of years same like mobile. After that the company will stop giving updates just like our mobile phones. Just consider the ev as a big mobile phone. Ola will stop giving updates to gen1 scooter in coming years obviously same as motorola stops giving updates after some years Newer ev technologies will be released in upcoming years. So the old ones will be left behind. So you have to upgrade to the newer model to enjoy more updates. Imagine buying a 2016 Tesla model 3☠️
@@parikshithkrishnan3001 The reason that current tesla are selling lower than before is part chip shortage and part goverment rebates, My EV scooter costed 1.1 lac on road with rebate of fame 2 and no state subsidy but if i include state subsidy of let say delhi it would cost me around 90K on road which is almost same as a petrol scooter. Since then the fame subsidy is reduced and very soon it will be gone so does state rebates , I renewed my insurance and the new IDV max for my vehicle was 1.4 lac in just 1 and 1/2 yr. The same goes for earlier tesla where in california they had heavy state rebates which one doesnt add when calculating the resale value, if one adds that most tesla are second going for the same price as new one. Poeple may not buy a 2016 tesla because its 8 yrs old but most are still getting 2020 or 2021 model still. Moroever with poluution norms getting stricter anyway any vehicle older than 10-15 yrs will become inoperable in most countries. Secondly when the market was new with a lot of gov help they could put better hardware and charge less from customer , with now lesser subsidy they are cutting in hardware too both ola , ather have done that with inferior electronics. with upgrades which are still laughable at best. (Ola replacing a 720p screen with 480p screen and ather going from 1 gb ram to 2 gb ram in 6 yrs). Newer technology will definetly come but most car manufacturer are making theoir current Ev with hardware which should support 5-8 yr into their future. even phones which sees a rapid upgrade cycle of at max 2-3 yrs, has now has started giving updates for 5 yrs and in some cases like pixel 7 yrs software updates. The progress in tech is slowing down with each year getting marginal updates that even big company like apple make major upgrade only after 3 product cycles at best.
The solution is there but in a different form , if you ride 50km in a day by 3 to 3.5 years you save enough money on petrol to buy a battery or a new ev . Assuming the price of petrol stays the same . So when somebody goes for resale of ICE scooter they get a good value that is used to buy a new vehicle in most cases. In ev you save that money by not buying petrol
Petrol scooters have higher resale value because there are too many of them, with adoption of EVs within 5 to 6 years their resale value will also improve. So yes if ur planning to sell ur scooter within 4 to 5 years then ice vehicle is recommended
Tbh In start you will face prblm with electric scooters as they are new in the 2w market but there are a lot of benefits... I have been riding ola s1 for 2 years small-small issues were there which come in every scooter but in terms of savings and experience it's too good compared to petrol scooter now I can never think of going back to petrol scooter.
TVS iQube is more practical with no nonsense software problems like no touch screen, key start/stop, home chargers with no issue of earthing, no extra buttons(except reverse and hazard lights), and the most important proper service centres in every towns. What's your take guys?
TVS's service program doesn't extend to EVs, at least in my city. Also, the price for that scooter is ridiculous. In no way anyone should look for THAT when Ola and Ather exist with good quality. If you live in a Tier3 city like me, you're better off with a petrol vehicle imo, at least for the next 2-3 or even 5 years.
@@ArpitNahiMila True. I guess I will keep pedalling with my bicycle for the next 5 years or so. I don't want to go for anything oily. Maybe Yo DX+ might be a better option for me right now, since they have a service center near to where I stay. Won't need a license either.
Let's see how well both the scooters perform after 5 years. Activa is reliable, tried and tested. Too many fancy features means the probability of too many things going wrong and needing expensive repairs. EVs are still in their infancy, let's give it some more time.
Folks like you were the ones that said to use keypad phones because touchscreen will go bad in a while 😂 stay outdated but the world will move on. All the best
@@ayzu7670You think you are intelligent by judging someone ? @@Vazhipokkannmy guy, you need to read the original comment again. The points mentioned are clearly against EV. The issue is that people haven't even tried or explored EVs and have "created" opinions. Ask people who use EV for their opinion, maybe even try them out.
Battery replacement cost is not added. Even for current price. In future the companies can loot you, like printer companies do with toner/cartridge system. Footnote- "Software" hehe
I'm unsure if the people who claim that EVs have issues like battery replacement and infrastructure have even tried to explore EVs, just a little. If they did, they'd know they come with a replacement warranty and infrastructure is getting better by the day. Especially in big cities, while smaller cities might take a little longer for the charging infrastructure to expand. You honestly won't need it for the day to day. Cuz daily charging needs are easily met using the charger at home. In states like Maharashtra, you've got a pretty good network of chargers that you can even travel outside city limits to other cities and places.
These guys are just exaggerating the electric scooters, batteries will be expensive and as you said batteries will degrade faster. Tell which lithium battery didn't go below 70% in three years and the promised range is never going to be accurate.
Correction: Warranty will be entertained below 70% capacity, not 80% And 70% is quite less. Once a battery reaches soh below 70%, it degrades even faster. Next, you don't need to kick the new activas anymore. They've upgraded them with fuel injected systems and do not cause issues in cold start.
@@John-re9wz Motor replacement is vary rare situation, I have used two average quality 2000W electric scooters back in 2016 - 2020, I did more than 40,000 KM on each and even after I sold those I was in contact with the buyers and none of the those had motor changes or issues even with the hall sensors. The reason I sold was due to battery issues (Lead acid), One of those biks are now upgraded to 50ah Lion with fast charging and it is being heavily used. I am in Sri Lanka and the electric bike prices are really high thesedays but my understanding is if you have a solar system at home, this is the cheapest method of transportation. 3-4 years of use will help you save the cost of the bike. Take Care.
I can bet that ola's or Ather's build quality is not better than activa. They might use better quality plastics but in terms of build quality activa still has the upper hand.
Yeah build of ola is not upto activa but its repair is very cheap bcs it has plastic panels.. Bs 30 min mein change although mera kabhi accident nhi hua by gods grace
i have both ola and activa and build quality of ola if preety good and it handles itself pretty well at high speeds of more than 80.I would never try to drive my activa at more than 60kmph.
Fun fact! Activa also has hill hold! You can activate it by pressing the rear brake lever all the way and pulling up the small lever behind it, and release the brake. Press the brake all the way and it will release.
I'm always shocked at how nobody mentions resale value of EVs. Nobody will even pay 30% of the original cost for an EV. Factor that in, and EVs defeat their own purpose of being environment friendly. ICE will easily last 20 years will good care.
Even if you keep the ev the battery life reduces after years of use and vehicle will need new batter which is 90% of the cost thats why noone wants used evs
everything is all good but even after 1 lakh kilometers done the range / milage of an IC engine won't be as bad as an EV and at that time the battery will cost around a lakh to replace so the goods are not as good to make the switch now. even the EV will be much more valuable now after replace the battery the problems will start to arise and the coverage of the company will be gone too
Yes it ofcourse amazing, and great if you wanna save Money but sadly, the practicality of EV SCOOTERS is really an issue, as their load carrying capacity is VERY LESS when compared to Petrol Scooty... It is NEVER AN ISSUE WITH EV CARS by the way. The speed and Performance and range depletes a lot when 3 people are on the Scooty or when the load is very heavy Mene dekha hai, people even go 150+KM on a Petrol scooty and with a lot of load. EV SCOOTYS NEED EVEN MORE HIGH CAPACITY BATTERIES AND EVEN HIGH POWERED MOTORS TO match the practicality of Petrol Scooty.
@@YoungAtharva the power output of ev is unmatched (for my ola s1 atleast) yeah but the range drop due to load is high. (not an issue for me bcs i use for city rides)

I really considered buying Ola s1 pro few months back but stopped due to following reasons (correct me if im wrong) - Very bad Service - Battery replacement cost is high. Even if it offers warranty since the service centre are sloths it doesn't help. - really struggle in uphill climb - Takes charging time instead of seconds filling in petrol ones - Even though it saves money in short term due to low charging money, in long term its nearly same as petrol scooters - new and unfamiliar, cant go repair to any shops like in petrol ones. - Weak body frame
probably but how many people are willing to swap their brand new battery for small probablity that the new swapped battery will be a lot older and with different aged battery your range will also differ so planning will become more tough
I thibk there should be 2 companies involved... 1 is ev vehicle manufacturer & 2nd is only battery manufacturer. Give a deposit amt for battery to battery manufacturer & keep swapping from same company. @@pinakinayak5278

9:07 after warranty what will people do with their battery. and ic scooter can still provide u the same mileage and performance even after warranty period . my first scooter i used for 14 yrs and if i buy an electric scooter for the same price it won't survive at the same time with the battery and efficiency . battery replacement is expensive.
Its important to state the terms and conditions of the 8years warranty on battery by OLA. Its basically for 80k kms or 8 years. So depending on your commute, it is covered maybe for 8 years only if you ride 30 km a day, everyday for the year = 11kms per year. Not bad though, just stating.
these electric scooter companies are raising price af. ather 450x is at 1.8lakh in my town and highest end with all features is 2lakh. also any repair or damage costs will cost u another bang. i really wanted to buy electric scooter but went for petrol.
I tried my Ola scooter.... The OLA just dosen't feel right in hands.... control, balance, Grip, is totally off. I don't feel confident riding an electric scooter compared to an petrol one. Maybe with time they will improve their body structure as well.
I brought Okinawa ev bike my experience is a$$ worst service (they removed service centre from my town ) i have to go to other town. u will get 60-65% range only. No parts available at all they don't even lift my calls 🤬🤬🤬🤬
What about the 1. Time -- where activa need fuel ev takes time to get charged 2. Malfunction -- as for activa any issue can be resolved in local market, cheap, fast (subjective). But same cannot be said for EV 3. Resale value -- as of now petrol gives better thought it will be equal with time. As for - Features, cost - EV seems quite economical
Recently saw a reddit post where a student was getting late for college, but got a software update on his ola scooter, and he was unable to start or cancel the update.
EV is a secondary vehicle. Aftersales service is not that good in Ather, parts availability is a big issue. My ather's steering ball bearing cone set has gone bad, and it costs 4000/- pretty expensive I'd say.
As an Electric Vehicle Engineer, I suggest charge your battery only after draining to less than 20% and charge it until 80%. Every battery is designed for a fixed number of charging cycles. Each charging and discharging will consume 1 cycle of battery life. Therefore drain your EV battery completely before charging
Electric if- 1st 2 wheeler or Daily use of more than 20km or Solar panel is installed at home or Only charging at home Petrol if- Already own a 2 wheeler Not using daily living in a remote location For outstation trips My 16 year old bike still gives me at least 60kmpl and runs smoothly. I spend barely 2000 a year on petrol. No point getting an electric other than to enjoy the feel.
There is a hand brake in every petrol scooties nowadays..so if we there in slope..we apply handbrake & voala. We don't go for servicing every 3months. Talking about subsidies once people start buying ev slowly subsidies will go away.. Lastly we are still dependent on non renewable source of energy like coal for electricity so EV is not clean.
EV Bikes are not suited for Indian climating conditions, since these scooters are exposed to dust, heat & rain. Battery has to be replaced every 5 - 7 yrs & that cost equals to a ICE scooter, adding to this is risk of catching Fire is always there.
Ev scooters have plastic / fiber glass body while Active has a 80 percent metal body . And coming to the battery replacement , the batteries cost for a new batt is 80-90K excluding gst . You may save on fuel but you will end spending on a new battery after 8 years . Should an Ev break down it always has to be towed to the service center for repairs factor that cost in.
I'm using Ather 450S it is running flawless only cons I would say is charging time it takes almost 8-8.30 hr for 0 to 100. The range I'm getting is 85-88. Ride quality handling is just superb but suspension is slightly on stiffer side anyone who is planning for ev my recommendation is go with Ather
3:44 i dont remember the scooter name, its a petrol scooter. It has hill hold. there is a lever on left brake, if you pull it the brakes are applied which works like hill hold
Two things to note before buying Ola 1. I did not get State subsidy as when I registered for subsidy it just says not available for this number ( not getting any help from ola service or anywhere so 20K gone) 2. Ride on Ola is not good for traffic, when you break the Ola and try to speed it's just not go and pause for 1 or half second it's not comfortable at all Baki sab thik he
here is the thing the EV Infra is still in developing state and it will take a long time to reach a point that people can rely on EV or the govt just goes bonkers and fast-track this whole EV infra development phase.. cause what I understood this govt can fast-track anything if they want see the speed in which we are developing highways
you didn't do a cost comparison overall including battery replacement of EVs which cost 50% of the scooter price and the Petrol Scooties with servicing costs and replacement costs over the same period. How much does an user spend, what is the actual saving they get in EV even after battery replacement....that is the main deal for an ordinary customer. Otherwise an one time 70-80k replacement cost even after 5 yrs of usage hits hard to a middle class consumer. Also EVs have cons like rainy season time or flood time they can get damaged. They are not meant for intercity travel etc. Often OLA scooters are catching up fire which is a big safety issue. Cover all the neagtive aspects of Evs also instead of promoting just good sides
I should add that only OLA scooters are software dependent and not Ather scooters as it has real keys for locking-unlocking and a safety switch for riding it and it is as reliable as it an regular scooter. Also fit & finish of Ather scooters with reliability is the highest among electric scooters. The EV's payback the investments over-time as you ride it (in the form of savings on fuel, engine-oil, air-filter, spark plugs, etc) and has very steady performance over-time(not talking about the battery but it's acceleration and speed) and ride feel even with multiple people with different riding styles. You should get yourself an EV 2wheeler if your daily commutes are long enough to break-even within 6-7 years or atleast the replace the battery after 6-7 years or when-ever the warranty of the battery expires plus 1 year.
i have and Ather 450X Pro and it;;s been amazing to use. My dad takes it to office everyday and he can charge it there for free but in case we charge it at home it uses 3.7 units for a full charge, our apartment has this ElectricPe thingy so yes they do charge a little extra but its not anything bad. Ather public chargers or the Fast chargers are always full and you'll have to wait a lot. We have around 5000 KMs and recently got a servicing done, with a great experience and it is overall a very good buy. Also the Ather shows the true range compared to Ola thus the range on Ather is way more accurate. Its is cheaper and out of all the best choice are Ather and Ola, please don;t buy the TVS Qubo or the Chetak EVs.
Yes waiting for a real life user comparison of EVs. Which is the best? If you can please include the bikes and the not so popular but good vehicles / brands too. Thanks.
This confused me even more! EV scooter has no resale value hence buying it as secondary scooter makes no sense at least at this point of time. Also scary battery failure stories are stopping me from investment. EV are good only if you travels A LOT!!! For someone like me who's monthly running on 2 wheeler is not even 500kms EV makes no sense.
3:44 we do have hill hold mode in activa and jupiter just check in your brakes you have 1 small mini brake looking like thing and by using that you can lock your brakes basically it's like using hand brakes in car...
It would have been much better if you had covered battery replacement cost under warranty and without warranty. That cost also needs to be considered when we are comparing ICE with EV to find out average cost per km
And about the reliability, my area faced severe water logging and floods 6 months ago. My old activa 125 was affected but since the parts are easily available, the scooter was fixed easily at a good cost. Ola and ather on the other hand if get affected by the water will cost a lot more and will be harder to fix.
Bought OLA 3 weeks ago, in a week i drive 65kms everyday for 3 days and another 60kms in the other 4 days. I must say i am saving money from this. But from my experience i understood that the bulit quality is horrible. U can't drive this on bad roads, and also what prateek mention about range that you get 30% less than range what is shows on screen is actually true. About seat cover i suggest to get one from a local seat sticher. Rest the performance of the vehicle is top notch.
For all those mentioning sponsored, I'll suggest watch this from a objective lens. It answers very serious question of even considering an EV in the first place, pros and cons etc. I have lots of questions and resistance to buy EV vehicle, but this can a step in the direction where one can atleast decide what their next 2 wheeler can be.
Ather belt replacement cost 2.9k plus 600 labour also 300 extra to tighten secondary belt and ofcourse gst and on top of that they added 800 for charging after asking them they didnt even serviced my scooter and my bill was 4682/- only this is in no way affordable. Charging almost 3k for a rubber belt is criminal. . But performance is something which is hands down better then any petrol scooter no jerks no vibration exellent braking and better storage.
Nice video! Good to see your channel covering more than just phones. Personally, ev still needs to mature so I don't see myself buying one for the next 5 years. After that, definitely planning to make the switch.

I haven't reviewed an electric scooter per se, but I have been riding the Activa 3G since 2019. I tried my friend's Ather 450X and the one thing I noticed was there was a slight (almost negligible but noticeable to me) delay in throttle response. It may just be Ather 450X, or his individual unit; but if this is an EV thing, I'm not switching to one.
I booked an Ola s1 pro Gen 2 a week ago. The delivery date is 5th April. I had a good experience with my friend's S1 pro. So booked that. For more than 150 kms I prefer Petrol bikes or car mostly.
It's also important to mention which state the prices you are mentioning the subsidies and on road prices vary in every state and in that sense the lowest price model of Ola is not always cheaper than it's ice counterpart. And if u look at practical point of view like the hump near the foot rest in Ola it's a stupid design choice
Activa is serviced once a year or max 2 times a year if it's really old. You falsely said it need to be serviced every 3 months, which is not true. In fact it can be true for Ola considering their terrible qc and after sales service. Moreover the battery costs need to factored in as well, the battery packs are damn expensive to replace after warranty, so might be poaaible all the savings you made in running cost will be equivalent to the battery cost
You didn't mention on the rodent (rat bite) issue in EV both ola and ather have no safety precautions for this I changed my ather motor three times spending nearly 70k
The price of parts is exorbitant for an EV. Moreover you are at the mercy of the company and the service center and cant buy after market parts. Reliability wise petrol vehicle is still best. You rarely go wrong with a good petrol scooter and even if you do help and parts both are available immediately anywhere everywhere.
Electricity @3-4rs per unit!!!! We pay @7rs per unit (above 100 units i a month, which is easily crossed) and is already approved to go up another 15 percent next year! Does it nor chamge the whole cost equation! And like petrol, electricity charge will only go higher!
When we didn't even get scooter seat cover how we will ensure that battery replacement will be? After 2 yrs of electric scooter ownershipbattery degrades like anything the cost of battery replacement is true more than 75% of vehicle cost
i have the new TVS JUPITER 125 smart xconnect and it has digital console with all the app connectivity ( which is laggy yes) but still, Fi for cold weather startup side stand engine cut off automatic engine start and stop, insanely large boot. and here you are comparing a baisc activa for comparison with new electric scooters, do a fair comparison with a new petrol scooter and electric ones

Your content delivery is superb. Enjoyed every bit of the video. More importantly, the review/ comparison is very practical and helpful for all. Thanks for your genuine efforts. Slight Correction If you go to the final payment page of the cheapest Ola S1X, It becomes 90000 including their insurance, registration charges, their fulfilment charge that i don't know what it is, and also their helmet which is complusory to buy.
Small issues came in every vehicle but exp of riding ev is best over it
My father also enjoys riding his s1 and he's so happy that he saved ₹25k of petrol
We are so habitual with petrol vehicles that switching to electric seems so difficult but trust me ev are better and I really love to ride my s1 air
💯 , I will never switch back to petrol
True bro, even my family felt awkward to drive my ola initially but they are now loving ev more than our old petrol scooter.

Petrol is better option than EV.
Battery replacement cost is one big reason
That's not the biggest problem.
The biggest problem is safety and infrastructure.
Mate it's literally 5-8 years depending on the brand what else do you need lol. Even petrol vehicles develop 10s of problems during that time
@I_killed_that_beard_guynot really with ather in pune at least.
Correction:
Warranty will be entertained below 70% capacity, not 80%
And 70% is quite less. Once a battery reaches soh below 70%, it degrades even faster.
Next, you don't need to kick the new activas anymore. They've upgraded them with fuel injected systems and do not cause issues in cold start.
These guys are just exaggerating the electric scooters, batteries will be expensive and as you said batteries will degrade faster.

I can bet that ola's or Ather's build quality is not better than activa. They might use better quality plastics but in terms of build quality activa still has the upper hand.

I'm always shocked at how nobody mentions resale value of EVs. Nobody will even pay 30% of the original cost for an EV. Factor that in, and EVs defeat their own purpose of being environment friendly. ICE will easily last 20 years will good care.

I would like all EV review channel to add a section where they discuss range in different seasons and affect on battery in different seasons
everything is all good but even after 1 lakh kilometers done the range / milage of an IC engine won't be as bad as an EV and at that time the battery will cost around a lakh to replace so the goods are not as good to make the switch now. even the EV will be much more valuable now after replace the battery the problems will start to arise and the coverage of the company will be gone too
Just bought my Ola S1X +
Trust me it's just amazing
Yes it ofcourse amazing, and great if you wanna save Money
but sadly, the practicality of EV SCOOTERS is really an issue, as their load carrying capacity is VERY LESS when compared to Petrol Scooty... It is NEVER AN ISSUE WITH EV CARS by the way.
The speed and Performance and range depletes a lot when 3 people are on the Scooty or when the load is very heavy
Mene dekha hai, people even go 150+KM on a Petrol scooty and with a lot of load.
EV SCOOTYS NEED EVEN MORE HIGH CAPACITY BATTERIES AND EVEN HIGH POWERED MOTORS TO match the practicality of Petrol Scooty.

I really considered buying Ola s1 pro few months back but stopped due to following reasons (correct me if im wrong)
- Very bad Service
- Battery replacement cost is high. Even if it offers warranty since the service centre are sloths it doesn't help.
- really struggle in uphill climb
- Takes charging time instead of seconds filling in petrol ones
- Even though it saves money in short term due to low charging money, in long term its nearly same as petrol scooters
- new and unfamiliar, cant go repair to any shops like in petrol ones.
- Weak body frame
EVs with battery swap like Gogoro can save charging time and solve range anxiety.
probably but how many people are willing to swap their brand new battery for small probablity that the new swapped battery will be a lot older
and with different aged battery your range will also differ so planning will become more tough
I thibk there should be 2 companies involved... 1 is ev vehicle manufacturer & 2nd is only battery manufacturer. Give a deposit amt for battery to battery manufacturer & keep swapping from same company. @@pinakinayak5278

What about the
1. Time -- where activa need fuel ev takes time to get charged
2. Malfunction -- as for activa any issue can be resolved in local market, cheap, fast (subjective). But same cannot be said for EV
3. Resale value -- as of now petrol gives better thought it will be equal with time.

EV is a secondary vehicle. Aftersales service is not that good in Ather, parts availability is a big issue. My ather's steering ball bearing cone set has gone bad, and it costs 4000/- pretty expensive I'd say.

1. I did not get State subsidy as when I registered for subsidy it just says not available for this number ( not getting any help from ola service or anywhere so 20K gone)
2. Ride on Ola is not good for traffic, when you break the Ola and try to speed it's just not go and pause for 1 or half second it's not comfortable at all
Baki sab thik he
here is the thing the EV Infra is still in developing state and it will take a long time to reach a point that people can rely on EV or the govt just goes bonkers and fast-track this whole EV infra development phase.. cause what I understood this govt can fast-track anything if they want see the speed in which we are developing highways
you didn't do a cost comparison overall including battery replacement of EVs which cost 50% of the scooter price and the Petrol Scooties with servicing costs and replacement costs over the same period.
Battery cost after 5 years is about 60-70k even after warrenty😂😂☠️
Yes waiting for a real life user comparison of EVs. Which is the best? If you can please include the bikes and the not so popular but good vehicles / brands too. Thanks.
EVs price should come down at this price point EVs are not worth buying.
My Active is 18 years old, lets see if any of your iPad EVs last that long
It would have been much better if you had covered battery replacement cost under warranty and without warranty.
Tech tip... Dont buy electric vehicle now as it is just a gimmick at the moment

I tried my friend's Ather 450X and the one thing I noticed was there was a slight (almost negligible but noticeable to me) delay in throttle response.
Seat Covers can be found in the Local Market as well.
Thats not a Con at all for Ather.

The price of parts is exorbitant for an EV. Moreover you are at the mercy of the company and the service center and cant buy after market parts.
