Melchizedek Namayi Keep grinding. It's not the land of milk and honey but the American dream is still alive and hard work does pay here. I moved here as a self-taught graphic designer and the experience has been one of learning but also very rewarding, more than I could have ever dreamt of. I am actually only an hour and a half north of you in VA.
I'm curious what kind of job he does here in the US. He's right about one thing though, there are plenty of opportunities here. And no we can't have a 'shamba' just anywhere because the weather can get brutal-hot summers/Cold winters, I had some outside plants on my patio & they died over the winter. Lol
We want those opportunities not a land of 'milk and honey'. In our country most people work almost as hard as those in western countries but are paid way less.

if you determined to come to US then don't give up no matter what these people on camera say juu they came to US too. if it were bad then they should've moved back to kenya themselves
That's true i don't know why everyone talks negative things about America and them themselves are there, if America was bad they wouldn't be there, whoever wants to go, go and try your luck 🤞
@@robertndungu5685 that’s true exactly what that gentleman said “it is not a land of milk and honey but there are opportunities” many people go to the US with a mindset that there’s easy money there. He went ahead and said “ I’ve come here to learn how they make their systems run, how they fight things like corruption, I go develop home” all about learning how things work in the west and impact his home country. If African systems would work like those in the west, no African would cross all those borders insearch of greener pastures in the west. Look at Arabs and Asians(Chinese,Japanese). We Africans in the west should have that mentality(learn how they make things work and try bring a change home).
