Funny thing is, you know that the way he was taught was "Just DO IT!" That lesson of "figuring it out" has served him well over the years, and the people that have a Bello's-fit custom ride are BLESSED! Put your ear protection on Mike!
The Daughter of Mr. packard was a private resident at a Nursing home I worked at. She was a funny lady. The grandson would come on weekends and take her out for a ride. The cars were incredible that he drove.
If you are still in contact with the family I think it would be awesome for Mike and his crew unveil the car to them and get some pictures, have The Packards sign the pictures and present them to the owner when the car is unveiled to the owner...
Big Steve, you tell the Bello craftsmanship story so well. Good enough that we almost take for granted the editing that goes into this. Mike, you keep me motivated on my work when I get stuck.
Hey Big Steve another cool vid that is one cool ride its ugly but it works. That is going to be really unique when it hits the road I would just paint it a matt finish rechrome every thing it doesn't need a flash paint job its the lines that make that car. Thanks Mike awesome work again. Liking the look of the chev in the back ground that chop you did really flows nicely be nice Big Steve to get some footage of them out side so you can get a long distance shot so we can get a better look at the full car. We have our beach hop here in New Zealand this weekend going to be five days of car heaven will try and get some footage so others can see a bit of our car scene here. 😁🇬🇸👍
According to my calculations this video is nuthin but perfection.. I watch alot of car shows on motortrend but hands down this is my favorite, keep up the great work Mike and Steve #maschigon#Shaaa💪🏽
I'm retired and get a lot of time watching car videos, forming of sheet metal to a perfect fit is amazing to watch, your videos are great, with your sense of humor .perfection is the best
When this video was uploaded we were watching the six nations Rugby which is my wife’s favourite so I had to content myself by watching it on my phone Now the Rugby is finished I’m able to watch it again on my TV and it’s even better as always I extend my greetings to Mike, Carapilla & Big Steve & the Bellos Kustom community as a whole thanks again Big Steve for producing such a brilliant Video! Piece🛠️
Your a master, you follow thru and dont compromise the design. The videos don't show the hours spent to make a masterpiece. Glad Carapila is back you got to have a righthand man.
“Leave a comment “? My comment is I’m awestruck watching Mike Bello the Master of Lokochan do his magic. Breakfast tacos and Bello’s Kustoms for the perfect Sunday mornings!!!
You guys are making that ride look fantastic, you're giving that ride a soul . That MF is bad ass. But you guys are great at what you do. Keep up the great work and God Bless you guys and your families. Stay safe and keep it Custom. My Man ✌️🙂👍🙏🏼🙏🏼
Sick looks like it should be there to begin with...keep sticking to your gut feeling on how it should come out bro...bad ass...we all appreciate your work bother and Big Steves!
Ola Mr Bellos just finished watching video headlights on the Packard, " WOW " you are the man ,boy haven't seen that quality workmanship in in a long time.,you are up there in my list ,you are truly talented, great to see real metalwork is still alive and well.love your videos, Peace !🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Glad to see Carapila back, he must of had a spa day or something. Those headlights turned out killer but for me that grill shell is bad ass. The whole package is like it was ment to be. If you see that in your rear view mirror you better get the fck out of the way. Thanks for another outstanding Sunday morning Mike, Big Steve and Carapila.
Those headlights work well. The top curve mimics the trademark Packard bump on the top of the radiator shell. It's making something that is not often seen. How many guys don't even know what a Packard or a Studebaker is????
Was wondering where those awesome headlights came from, then found it further down the comments ['38 Studebaker] The styling definitely suits the look of the whole car. Magic!!
Wow , quality crafted work with some innovated design never seen before in the best traditional kustom era style , -38 Studebaker headlights and -41 Packard bumpers , brilliant , love it !
Seeing your show once in a while keeps me going. Since VW Bugs is mostly all what's around where i'm at now, they're what i have to work w/. I hope to make some funky Bugs folks haven't seen around here. All the best From Serbia!
Coolest fabricator on UA-cam. Coolest motors on UA-cam . Thanks for your efforts and sharing them with us. How come only 47k subs even DD hackshop has more
OK OK, I'll say the other part -Yeah! Mike is the master of this art no doubt. AND the stuff he works on, works with, is what we all drool over. Not the same O same O. Those headlights ! That Packard !
Packard remind me back in 1959 on the ranch in Northern Cal. In the barn the owner left at 39 Packard four-door three on the floor I used to sit in there and pretend I was driving all the time. It ran tell my one of my aunts came to visit the ranch best practicing driving at the orchard stuck a branch to the radiator put it back in the barn that state parked in there forever. Well until 1966. But I thought the four-door was cool gangster style. Keep up the good work vato Loco. Locals forever.😊😎🤙🏽👍🏽
No question about it, Brother and I think you are the best and hardest worker we have ever seen. Love what you do!!!!!!! We just ordered a shirt and will keep watching as long as you keep makin em........ Da Man!!!!!!
Hey…from an artist to an artist, free drawing and innovating it in your mind is the best way!!! Kustom is always where it’s at!! Beautiful work, Mike. Big Steve, videos are just 👌🏻.
I’m going thru withdrawal. No service at Bello’s Sunday hopefully next week. So I’ve been watching earlier videos of this build like the chop and all the work to get the original imperfections out so it’s stronger and fits. If I had 1/2 your talent I’d be badass. You’re over the top. My favorite builder and UA-cam.
Hiya guys at Bello's another great video was not sure about the lights but they turned out great according to mike's calculations 😅.😅😅.may stretch to a hour big Steve lol . Take care boys and looking forward to the next chapter 👍👍👍
Bro these head lights are just so sexy. You are in your own league bro . When i was watching i said to myself now how is he going to get the right angle. Dang you figured this out with your eyes close. This is way out of the box man. Like i said you are one of the best in the country. Hands down #10😮😊
Nearest I can think of for the bumpers is late '30's bigger series car/limo. The earlier ones had like a knob thing on the ends of the bumpers. Looks fantastic Mike, another work of art - the front view looks super powerful.
You are a metal "surgeon" with power tools. Eyes like Lazers. Like how you "feel" the metal after working it into shape. That's a real craftsman. Can be anything you want, wood, metal, glass, rubber. The final seal of approval is the Feel.
Very cool.... 😎 At first I said no way, didn't think the headlights would look good but man they really look incredible. Not easy install but the look is one of a kind... Ordered my Bello's Kustom tee shirt so this "Homie" in Connecticut can represent.... Thanks for sharing your work, keep the videos coming!
Love anything art deco especially on old cars. Working on my 48 Pontiac streamliner 2dr. Wish I still lived in California you would be installing the bags right now.
Not until the end did I fully appreciate how nicely those headlights look with the bags under their eyes. Brilliant. Just brilliant.
Funny thing is, you know that the way he was taught was "Just DO IT!" That lesson of "figuring it out" has served him well over the years, and the people that have a Bello's-fit custom ride are BLESSED!
Put your ear protection on Mike!
There is no denying that you are one of the greatest to have ever done it. Your name is solidified in the custom world my brother!
If it's Sunday it has to be Bello's time. No better way to spend a Sunday morning watching and learning from Maestro Mike
The design concept to use different parts from different cars is impressive. But, the follow through to completion is freaking outstanding!!!
The Daughter of Mr. packard was a private resident at a Nursing home I worked at. She was a funny lady. The grandson would come on weekends and take her out for a ride. The cars were incredible that he drove.

Omg the lady was 83 back in 1995. The son was 60 and I didn't know him.@@joshuabuxton7502
President of Packard was Alvan Macauley. Is that who you refer to ?
I was looking forward to this part of the modification, gracias Mike and gracias Big Steve

I do enjoy the Sunday morning art class, I always learn something new!
I noticed you upgraded that nice snap on light to a harbor freight unit. I found that thing a couple weeks ago. Man it’s nice!
Outstanding work Bello's Kustoms.
The man knows how to make patterns and use all the metal forming tools from the golden age of one-of-a-kind car body creation.
HEADLIGHT BUKETS LOOK LIKE A SPACE HELMET FROM A 50'S SCI FI MOVIE
That is one nice custom touch.
I'm retired and get a lot of time watching car videos, forming of sheet metal to a perfect fit is amazing to watch, your videos are great, with your sense of humor .perfection is the best
True artistry.....what a vision....what told you that 38 stude would work on that Packard like that....awesome work

The Packard bumpers ad so much detail to the finished product everyone thinks they should be completely smooth you did it right.

the rules are there are no rules, great content as usual Mike, spot on with your calculations.
